Very efficient technician installed new dishwasher.

This was very easy and highly recommended as the dishwasher is something where you need to take care of water, electricity and drainage! It's better to let professionals handle.

The installation of our Whirlpool dishwasher went smoothly. The two installers were knowledgeable, thoughtful and courteous.

installation was average dishwasher is not properly lined up with base cabinetry

watch out for the free install and haul away features. they use a third-party vendor who gives poor service. the installers gave all kind of excuses as to why they could not do it. They said BestBuy fails to tell the customer that BestBuy will not let them do anything other than a quick disconnect and install. They did not remove or haul away old dishwasher. I had to remove it myself. I had to contact a Plummer on my own and pay for it. to get it installed. Used the chat line but all they said was call geek squad which you cannot get on the phone.

Very professional - They did recommend a few things of which I did one of their recommendations. It cost a bit more than anticipated but the dishwasher is running smoothly a few weeks later.

The guys were excellent! My old dishwasher was difficult to remove and they used their ingenuity to workout a difficult situation. Very pleasant and my new dishwasher was up and running in no time!

Wish was rod needed also a new air gap in addtpto buying the install kit.. cost me $100.00 to buy from installer.

It was professional and hands-on. The leader of the team installed an electrical outlet since the wiring was done wrong previously. That was great to have that handy.

Geek Squad installer was clean, thorough, had added valve on hand to replace (old water supply valve was not compatible with new type connectors, although the rep in the store said it would be no problem). The installer was acting like a plumber, not an installer.

Love my new dishwasher! Especially the top part for small items like the plastic lids from glass containers, sponges, etc.

Great product but clanging its tray levels may not allow its door to latch

The installers were professional and knowledgeable. I would appreciate if you have a process in place to have them wear booties on there shoes. It was slushy snow/rain that day. This is a gap for the company to set a policy in place.

I can provide as much details as I can so you understand I did not give poor review for no reason. I have always been a big fan of BestBuy until lately this terrible experience destroyed my trust in BestBuy. I am a total tech member, but this is how BestBuy treated their valued customer. You can forward this email to related people internally, and maybe someone with competence can fix the issue, which I strongly doubt. I initially placed the ordered of a LG dishwasher in store. Their manager told me it was supposed to be delivered, installed, and the old dishwasher would be hauled away on Tuesday, Dec.16th, 2022. Then Dec. 16th passed and no one showed up at my place. I called customer service and they told me it wasn’t scheduled, but the item was in stock, and they can reschedule it to Thursday, Dec. 19th, 2022. Then Dec. 19th passed and still no one showed up. So I called customer service again, and they apologized and reassured me that it would definitely be delivered on Monday, Dec. 26th, 2022. On Dec. 26th, two guys showed up at my home at around 8pm. After inspection, they claimed my shut off valve needed to be replaced, even though we never had any problems with it. They insisted that either I needed to replace the valve myself, in that case they’ll take away the dishwasher and reschedule the installation appointment, or they can replace the shut off valve for me immediately, for $150, cash or check. I told them I am total tech member and all the service or parts should be free of charge. They said they are third party contractors so that charge was separate. My family has waited for this dishwasher for so long, so I gave him cash and asked him to install it, which turned out to be a huge mistake. After they pulled out my old dishwasher and installed the LG dishwasher that I bought, they started a test run, and the dishwasher showed an error on the display. It was a defective unit! Disappointed as I was, I had to reject it and ask for a refund. I still needed to pay them $150 cash because the shut off valve was already replaced. You can’t even imagine how disappointed and frustrated I was. Long story short, the dishwasher was never installed, and the bigger problem is after that terrible installation appointment, I started to have problems with my original dishwasher. My original dishwasher worked perfectly fine and we never had issues with it until that point. Now when I wash stuff in the kitchen sink, the water flows into the dishwasher, and then leaks from the dishwasher! It’s clear that they messed up the plumbing or something during the installation, so I called customer service again to schedule a maintenance appointment. Again they apologized and promised they would fix it. Not surprisingly the appointment got canceled AGAIN without any prior notification. That’s why I gave the review in the survey. This whole experience is the worst I’ve ever had in my entire life. Unfortunately at this point I don’t even want to buy any single thing from BestBuy, I just wish everything is back to normal as it was.

One of the biggest reasons that I buy my appliances at Best Buy is because of the great installation service. I have had issues with other stores, however, the last three appliances that I purchased were at Best Buy and installation was always professional and worry free.

The installers that came to my house did an excellent job! I am so happy with the experience! On a scale of 1 - 5, I give them a 10!
