Jimmy was excellent, neat and knowledgeable. It was installed in no time!

The installation wasnt that great. The installer basically just pushed the dishwasher into area where it went and left. He left us to plug it in, said that wasn't what he was qualified for, and told us to take back the plug that came with the washer. When we did go to return it because it was an extra cost, we were told that we had to have that part for the warranty. So the plug that HAD to be purchased with the dishwasher is sitting in our closet and has been for the last year. There has been a couple of repair jobs to the dishwasher since and not having that plug on the washer has never been an issue with the warranty.

Install was fast and easy. Techs were kind and professional

THIS IS REALLY A ONE-STAR REVIEW BUT THE SYSTEM DOES NOT ACCEPT ONE STAR REVIEWS. The techs who installed the dishwasher didn't install it properly the first visit. The machine wiggled and wobbled. I called BB and was told that a supervisory team would come out. Two weeks later the first crew arrived - tried to tell me they could find just one screw their first visit - but I held up the open bag with the second screw. I watched them closely to be sure they had the dishwasher level and stable.

We opted for professional installation on the dishwasher. While the installer was very good and quite friendly, he charged an additional $150 on top of the standard $150 (installation and kit) to install the dishwasher. While I would not attempt to do it myself, I think that $300 for installation was exorbitant.

So far my experiences with Best Buys install have not been great. If it is Geek Squad, It will be good, But they need to pick better 3rd party contractors. This go around, the guys were friendly, but I felt like i'd been taken advantage of. I had the total tech package, I understand that if they need to alter anything, I need to pay. The alterations were to drill a hole at the back of the dishwasher and put a new valve on my water line and wire in an outlet. 10 minutes of work and less than $20 in materials (by the way I supplied the electrical box and connectors) $160... so what does the total tech package cover? the delivery is what i was told. If i refused the work, they would just drop and go and they would not take the old unit if i did not opt for the install. On top of that, I had to pay the crew in cash and no receipt. they literally told me I had to go get the cash from an atm, no checks, no credit cards, not even the best buy card. The whole thing felt very fishy.

The install crew was wonderful, helpful, informative, neat, and quick! Very polite and nice crew!
