The old unit was hardwired in. The new had to have a plug installed and we were never told of this. The instillation kit we purchased didn't include wiring.

Horrible installation

They did not even mount the dishwasher, so when i opened the door, the dishwasher tilted like 45 degrees. Also, after the installation when dishwasher was draining water it was overflowing through the air gap and they told me i have to change the air gap and a garbage disposal hose even though everything was working fine with the previous dishwasher. Even after changing these parts it did not solve the problem
