Best Buy failed to install my dishwasher. Now I’m waiting longer because the installation person can’t show up during the appointment window or call the customer to say they’re arriving early. I’m upset that they: • just showed up whenever. • drove away 6 minutes after they showed up. • Did Not call me. • and they didn’t call later to say they wouldn’t be arriving during the appointment time window. ( The installation guy said he went home early. ) I had to call and ask why no one was installing my dishwasher I’ve been waiting on. Hold time with customer service was also horrible. Best Buy disappointed me.

It is just OK. Would not buy an LG dishwasher again.

The installation for the dishwasher was rushed, and did not work properly. The kick stand/guard was not installed by the technician, and 2 additional appointments later the kick stand is still missing. The air gap started flowing from day one of usage.

Customer service was terrible. Messed up our delivery and reschedule twice, didn't deliver the product prior to the installers arrival, and ultimately had to go with someone else for install.

Best Buy told me a reputable installer in town would complete the install - what I got was an overflow 3rd party from 75 miles down the road. He took one look at my dishwasher cabinet and told me he'd have to rip my entire kitchen lower cabinets out to accommodate my request to replace the copper feed line with an updated flexible stainless steel feed line. He did this without once opening a cabinet or drawer. After explaining to him how he should do the install he said this was outside of the confines of the contract he had with Best Buy but could do it for an additional $100 if I were to point him in the direction of the nearest "big box" home repair store. I had the gentleman and his partner bring the dishwasher in and leave the property promptly. Had I known this is what I was going to get, I would have gladly waited a few days for delivery and install to ensure I received a quality and QUALIFIED individual to complete the job.

The installer drilled an additional hole in my cabinet to run the lines through but there was already a hole there from the old dishwasher. He did not acknowledge his mistake and made no attempt to fix it. Plus they stole a old antique wooden stirrup the I used as a napkin holder.

We purchased 4 major new LG appliances and the extra Geek Squad annual fee of $125 for the next 12 months to cover the initial installation cost at BB in Mesquite. Unfortunately the installers charged us $100 extra for each appliance to hook up an additional $5 part they had to change out. By the time I got home I was really upset and refused to let them charge us another $100 to hook up the microwave. These installers were a major rip-off to the new customers wanting their new appliances installed. Besides that the new connections under the sink to the dishwasher leaked water which we did not realize for some time, plus they did not turn off the gas before connecting the new Stove/Oven, which later leaked gas into the kitchen and was lucky it did not burn our house down. WE do not recommend BB for appliances or any of their installers.

If you live in Montana, apparently there is only one installer that BestBuy contracts. His name is Andre. Do not allow him in your home. He is completely incompetent. Find absolutely anyone else. (In Missoula I would recommend Appliance Pros very highly.) Not only did Andre fail to install our new dishwasher properly—it soaked the floor upon first use—but he used a wrong clamp and ruined the drain hose, such that it had to be replaced. Luckily he also used the wrong screws on the base kick plate so that it fell off, which is how we knew water was leaking out of the bottom before it got under the floorboards and ruined the entire kitchen floor. Appliance Pros were able to fix it temporarily, order a new hose, and then fix it properly. And parts and labor cost less than BestBuy was charging us for Andre to ruin things.

I took the install as it was free. But the installer was too worried about his speed than his service/ quality.

Had trouble getting dishwasher property lined up. Would have allowed misalignment if I hadn't stepped in to correct problem.

The installers never showed up to deliver/install product. My appointment time was 7am-1pm, I called numerous times after 1pm and was assured they were on their way, at 4pm the installers called to say they were busy at another install and that they weren't going to make it to deliver/install my fridge and dishwasher. I purchased the fridge and dishwasher on 6/23 and now have to wait until 8/11 for them to be installed. I would never recommend buying appliances through Best Buy and having them install them. Best Buy has just made excuse after excuse as to why they weren't delivered and installed. They tried using covid as an excuse, saying there is a shortage of product but the installers told me that the product was in their possession.

When the guys came to install this they did a good job. However who ever sets up the deliveries completely dropped the ball. They changed the time on me 3 time, then blamed me for the time change. I had the original email that the said with the "promised time" and they said they, never scheduled it at that time, and since i missed the installation time, I'd have to reschedule, which was completely ridiculous.

We purchased the std kit. It was about 2 feet too short. So the installer connected two water line kits together and charged me another $32.00. They should stock two sizes, 3ft. and 6ft. Neither would have been $64.00. Just beware if you are DYI er, measure to check what length you need. Home depot or the local hardware might be a better option. BTW the drain line that came with the Dishwasher was plenty long...no problem.

It never occurred. The person who delivered and was supposed to install, said he couldnt, and we ended up having to call an appliance company.

it was fine and as expected for installation. a little slow, but did take away old dishwasher for free which we did not expect

I have given up on Best Buy. The installation team showed up 1 hour earlier than scheduled. Since I was working on changing the valve to their desired style, they would not return at the scheduled time. It took another week to get the product. Once they arrived, they poorly installed the dishwasher. They left with the door binding on the cabinets and it moving every time you closed the door. They took several items with the old dishwasher that was supposed to stay. Never asked just walked out with them. I no longer have any confidence in Best Buy.

This was a horrible experience. We only bought it from Best Buy because of the free install. We scheduled it at the store for a time that would work. The installer called my child to cancel and reschedule for 4 days later. He did this in the evening after we had waited all day to be installed. When he showed up he hooked up the hoses tried to slide it in I had to explain to him why it wouldn't work because he put the power box behind the dishwasher instead of in the cabinet. Then he tried to slide it in and it didn't fit right because it was different dimensions the Bosch being a european-style must have been different then he left and did not install it he said he had to have me sign the paper and I signed it he left I modified the cabinet slightly and installed it myself then I had to raise it up to the height of the cabinet and it didn't fit I called and told him that it was missing the part to cover the front and he did nothing about it he did however still parts from my old dishwasher and the new installation kit hose which I called and asked him to bring back and he did

The technician took no more than 15 minutes to install it and charged around $140. Shop around for a better install price.

Complete scam! Buy dishwasher on October 1. Install scheduled for Oct 25. Day before get an email and text rescheduled for Oct 27. No explanation. On Oct 26 get another email and text now scheduled for Nov 28. Call the store and they tell me call the 1800 number. I call. Rep tells me the installer keeps changing the date. Gives no honest details and couldn’t care less. I finally say forget it and cancel my order. If your installation team can’t instal a dishwasher I paid over $200 for. Maybe you need to hire more or find a better installer to use.

Washer did not fit in square to counter, installers said counter was not straight. slightly off square but works just fine.
