they had to come back and correct the installation. had to click recommend or not. it had to be installed. what can i say?

Unfortunately the dishwasher must not have been installed correctly because it is leaking. I will be contacting Best Buy today

Initial 3rd party installer cancelled the delivery and installation last minute the day before Thanksgiving. Imagine hosting a large Thanksgiving dinner with a broken dishwasher. Second installer informed me the day of delivery that they could not find the dishwasher in the warehouse. I had to go to the store twice, deal with the Store Manager and it still took a while to get it. All an all - 3 weeks from order to delivery. The guys who came to install (a different company) did a fine job, but my experience with BB was horrible

They tried to get out of installing the DW claiming the plumber didn't have a water supply or standpipe installed. They didn't know I was a builder with 40 years experience so I showed them the standpipe and water shutoff valves under the sink adjacent the DW space. So where else would they be? Then they installed it.

Dishwasher has a small dent and no heat for drying dishes. Cold water remains in dishwasher and doesn't drain after waiting 3 days. Told new dishwasher would be installed in January. Now they say February. I am very disappointed with my purchase from Bestbuy.

While purchasers are required to purchase a new stainless steel hose for the new dishwasher (great requirement as the dishwasher manual states to replace the hose every five years to avoid a leak), the installer tried to save time by using my old hose and keeping the new one I purchased. I knew it because I had put blue tape on my old hose and checked it right before he was about to finish. When I confronted him, he made an excuse, and then had his assistant go to the truck and get my new install kit (with my new hose that I had paid for that he was going to keep) and he took off the old one and put the new one on. He risked my house being flooded with water one day because I feel he was too lazy and dishonest to do it right. I do praise Best Buy because I know this is not normal for Best Buy. My washer and dryer install and microwave delivery were excellent.

The service has been, well horrible. I had an appointment set up to deliver my dishwasher that I bought. That appointment date was somehow moved, without my knowledge to a week later. Then, on that second date, we waited all day, no call, nobody showed up. I called and complained, and was assured that someone would contact me. They called and left a message, telling me that my dishwasher would be installed in another 8 days. I was told to contact the guy who called with any additional questions - he gave me his email. I've emailed him twice, I've called, trying to get a hold of him, being on hold for an hour. Guess what? No one has emailed me back, no one responded to my call. I guess I'm supposed to just sit back while they act like nothing has happened, while I wait for my dishwasher to be installed 38 days after I bought it. That is, of course, if they actually show up for the next appointment.

We canceled our order it was going to arrive on March 20th but they couldn’t get an appointment set to install it. It would have sat here in the house for a least a month or more. We canceled went to Lowe’s and bought one and they delivered on Sunday and installed it.

Technicians came to our house and said this dishwasher cannot be installed (blaming a lack of height, that is simply not true), and said its too far from our sink (something the Bosch manual also diffused pretty quickly). After we simply unmounted the counter tops, we slid in the dishwasher to fit in the recessed floor (other kitchen flooring has been installed after and was not done under counters). Install was free anyway, and it seemed they simply did not want the hassle without any downside in not installing it as it was free for us. Suggest to do it yourself; may take a while but you'll be able to get there and save the time then for arguing your case with Best Buy about refunds/consideration. We have not gotten any consideration for the additional inconvenience, other than them taking back the TechSupport Package that we only got to install the dishwasher and other appliances to make it cheaper (which it is not if you don't receive these benefits).

Defective Installation. Dishwasher does not drain. Worst Service

The installation tech definitely tried but did not complete install. Had no idea he would ask for a check for additional parts and labor and that I would have to hire someone else in to complete the install (10 minutes). Not a good value at all.

The installers were knowledgeable, worked clean and job done in a timely fashion.

This is the second time I used Best Buy to purchase and install an appliance and the second time I felt ripped off from the people Best Buy hires to do the job. Once they are at your house ready to install the appliance they come up with new things/pieces I need to purchase from them (even though I had already installation kit at everything) and charge an arm and a leg for them (I paid $199 for total tech membership in store and another $170 at home for extra)…as I said, this happened the second time and when I complained about it with Best Buy customer service, I wasn’t given any explanation.

I was not called the day before the first time, so I called and found out my appointment had been cancelled. No call the next time until 30min before coming only to find out the unit was dented, so refused it. No call the day before the third appt so called to make sure it was coming, to find out the time had changed. THE SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE FIXED. The installer was great and the dishwasher is working fine.

The installation team left me with a wet under sink cabinet after installing the dishwasher. The worst part of it was that they didn't even tell me about. Then, 2 weeks later as I reached under the cabinet to grab a plastic bag, i noticed it was wet. On inspecting further, there was a leak due to poor installation. The water leak could have seriously damaged by cabinets. As if that wasn't enough, the installation team did not leave me with a manual. When I went to the local Best Buy and explained the problem , I was told "you could print out a manual online". That's really poor customer service. She should have gladly printed one out for me since it was the Geek Squad technicians who failed to provide me with a manual and left me with a leaking dishwasher. Best Buy should not affiliate with these technicians to install dishwasher.

Installed but only one side was securely fastened.
