Huge rip off with little attention to COVID-19
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT HAVE YOUR DISHWASHER INSTALLED BY BEST BUY. They contract to another service agency. We paid $160 for installation and an additional $30 for a connection kit. Once the old dishwasher was removed we were informed that an additional kit was necessary (another $30) AND AN ADDITIONAL $135 FOR INSTALLING THE KIT (basically they needed a longer hose and charged $135 to screw the two hoses together). Once the old unit is out they have you in a bind leaving no choice but to pay. This sucks! They had masks but one "agent" wore his around his neck and coughed frequently. They did not sanitize anything when they left but I was glad to see them go.

awful experience

My appointment to fix washer is not until 2/27. i want a refund and return this machine

Worst experience involving a purchase ever.

They cancelled twice just an hour to two hours of being at my house. I took 2 days away from my work to be here for them & they left me with nothing but dirty dishes. I sat on hold with their automated phone system for a minimum of half an hour each time. Twice they said they would call back in 24 hours & I had to call them back both times after 2 days. I went to the store twice & finally got to speak to the General Manager (think his name was Sean) and after telling him what had happened he just stared at me. I then broke silence and asked him if this bothered him at all? He seemed to me to have developed a smirk and with a look of satisfaction said simply "No". Great product, worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. This is NOT an exaggeration. I don't know if it would post with a no stars rating so that's why they got a one. Feel pretty sure I cannot make it a negative number as well.

Dirty Dishes and not drying

It wasn't drying our dishes and left them with black spots on them. So, we got a replacement dishwasher to fix the problem, well same results. We took pictures from the first dishwasher and these spots. Now we did another load of dishes (in the new relace dishwasher) and had about 15 dishes full of black spots. My wife will be getting a hold of Best Buy and the company. Our past two other dishwasher left the dishes clean and dry, this LG one has failed us horribly!

I purchased a dishwasher because we are updating our appliances, we purchased the membership because it included the installation (from people who I expected would know what they were doing). During the installation they requested to see which dishsoap I use and they conccured it was the suggested by the manufacturer. Unfortunately They did a faulty installation, the water was coming out of the hose and damage my hardwood floor. I placed a claim, they denided after 5 months of testing and opening wholes in my house and their “reasson” is that it was because I used the wrong soap!!! I would NEVER buy anything else from Best Buy.

Bad dishwasher install

They said their guys didn’t do it so they were not going to repair it very bad very bad very bad.

Best Buy Installation Screw up

They attempted to reconncet hoses. After which had bad leaks. Had to get an electrician to install plug. Then called plumber to properly install new dishwasher. Will not use Best But people to install another dishwasher. Total screw up and we did get any money back paid for the Best Buy people to attempt the install.

Scratched my brand new floors!!

Thoroughly upset! This is the first time I’ve had negative feedback on installation.

Install guy did not know what he was doing.

He thought the dishwasher wash defective and wanted to leave it in our house while they order a new one! He finally got it working and he had no idea how or why it was working. He barely spoke English.

Installation Fail

Installer said the dishwasher was too deep for the opening. It stuck out 2 inches beyond the cabinet. All dimensions and measurements say it will fit, so something was wrong here. Installer tried a few things to no avail. Finally I said enough and let him leave. I didn't have much confidence in him. After he left I checked it myself. Turns out he had the hose at the top of the back of the unit where the unit is deepest. That prevented the dishwasher from going all the way in the opening. I moved the hose down to where the unit is notched out to allow for the hose. Problem solved. You would think the installer would know where to run the hose.

Don’t Do It—Best Buy is the WOAT!

When i called, i was transferred out of the country to a call center & was put in the queue as if i had just purchased it. The installers were nice, but if there’s an issue, you aren’t given any info or priority on the install. Store manager said “this is happening more & more”—-so managed nothing.

Dishwasher installation

The main problem was nobody showed up on the original day of installation. It was supposed to happen before noon and I called around 11:00am to check the status. I was told it was on the truck and was on it's way. It took three phone calls to finally discover after 3:00pm that they don't install dishwashers on the day promised. This was partly blamed on the fact that Best Buy had changed installers, but the guys who did the install had stated they had been installing for Best Buy for quite some time. My final phone call was with a manager in the store who spoke to me in a rather unprofessional manner. I was told that the next install date was a few weeks away. I spent an entire day waiting!! They were able to move it up to less than a week and gave me a substantial discount, which was nice considering it was a free install promotion, but overall disappointing.

Broken piece not replaced

Installer said he would order new piece and repair it. It never happened. Also the kick plate didn't fit. He said I would need to find a way to cut it . Very disappointed. I think you need to correct any issues and not expect the customer to try to resolve it.

Poor service

The dishwasher was not secured to the cabinet. "You are all set" is what they said. Next thing we know the whole dishwasher came out of the cabinet when it was opened. They then secured it to the cabinet. Thought that was it. When we checked if it works after the installers left there was no water in the system. After calling best buy support the next available visit was 10 days later. So we were left with no dishwasher until then. So tried fixing the issue on our own. It appears that the water inlet had debris in it which was not allowing full pressure. This issue was solved after multiple trouble shooting attempts and after 4 days of installation. The installation team did not even check before leaving if the machine works. Had they checked it this issue would have been solved much sooner. Overall terrible experience.
