I received a text saying he was on his way and would arrive at 1:10 pm. He finally arrived at 5:30. No apologies- just excuses. He was in such a rush that he did not even install the toe plate on the front of the dishwasher. He probably threw it away. I had to contact Best Buy about a replacement. He or his helper also damaged the wood floor in my kitchen. Very unprofessional!

No more bestbuy appliances
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have had to many different people from bestbuy promising to correct the errors that has been made with installation on this dishwasher and the promise to get it installed, from the lack of the third party installors able to do the job, to the plumbing company coming out and failing to to correct the issue , and finally having a geek squad tech come out and he new how to fix the issue but bestbuy doesn't stock the parts that is needed to fix the problem. An also the customer service people don't have a clue. More so the store manager just passes the problem without any follow up. Bad for business!

dishwasher installation

They did a very poor job installing it. Rescheduled and they are supposed to come tomorrow Sept 28! They keep cancelling and rescheduling!

Disappeared Without a Trace: Best Buy Employees

Installed incorrectly, but assured me he would return the following day with appropriate parts; however, his picture might be on a milk carton, as he seems to have disappeared. Local BB provided me with an entertaining game of "this has been escalated to a supervisor, and they will call you back" for a few weeks, and then the supervisor seemingly joined the installation guy on a carton of milk, because they too disappeared. Finally resorted to hiring someone to install it correctly, and my loyalty to BB in the form of thousands of dollars spent per year has now joined the installation guy and the supervisor on a carton of milk...

Very Unhappy

Never showed and never informed. Rescheduled installation 4 times because it unexplainable got cancelled each time without notifying me. Each time I called I was told they could help but never did anything in the end. Several times I was told I would be called back but never was. I am still waiting on installation of my dishwasher which has now been sitting in my kitchen for 5 weeks. I finally gave up calling because it was getting me nowhere. I am scheduled presently for 9/13/22. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Poor job on installation of dishwasher.

I paid for the Best Buy professional installation of a new LG dishwasher. After the tech installed the machine he turned it on to run it through a full cycle, less than 24 hours later water was coming up through my wood laminate floors. I had to have an emergency plumber visit because the tech neglected to properly tighten the water line so there was water leaking under my cabinets and floor for 24 hours. I then had to go and buy a $250 dehumidifier with the hopes that my floor isn’t ruined. Overall bad experience with the installation of the dishwasher.

How not to install a dishwasher

They finally forced it in . I was deeply ANNOYED at this install. This hose I think will fail in the future. I could not wait for them to leave

Damaged product

The tech that came out was kind, but we have had no follow up. He said a new dishwasher would be delivered since the one we received was missing parts. He took pictures and said he would attach and make notes on our account. I called Best Buy total tech, notified them but still haven’t received the new dishwasher or any updates and when it will be coming etc. we’ve already had this item replaced because the original was terribly dented

Poor Delivery Experience

In the app, it gave me my delivery window. When that window passed I called the number for assistance. That was Best Buy customer service. They had to contact the contracted installation service. Seems the contractor updated the delivery window. And should have called me. They didn’t. Instead of 9 am - 1 pm. It was 3-7 pm. And then they were late for that.

WORST INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE

They completely messed the install and the second Geek Squad that came to redo the installation, messed it up as well and we have been waiting to get a response from Sedgwick insurance since 11/15 with no credit yet.

Absolutely TERRIBLE!!!

Aside from the $200 I paid to join the Best Buy total tech program and get delivery/installation of the dishwasher, I ended up having to call my handyman and pay another $150 to come and fix the damage the 2 men that came to install the machine did. They messed up the electrical work so it had to be replaced. Then I ran the dishwasher and it never had water so now I have to call another person to figure out that issue. What a waste of money and time. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Wish there were a negative stars option.

Replaced very dishwasher; without being honest.

It appear there was nothing wrong with my old dishwasher except electric was working properly. They charged me and additional fee to fix the problem. Made no record of it to Best Buy and took away my dishwasher which I could have used else where. They spent no time showing us how the new dish washer worked & recommended that we let them take away our old dishwasher.

Terrible install

It didn't go well the first thing is they didn't have the adapters for the water lines. I bought the kit that supposed to have everything needed but i still had to go purchase them anyway and finish the install myself. But before that he said we needed a plug in outlet which he charged me 75.00 to put in. The last time i had the dishwasher replaced the installer had no issues with anything. They put in a new whirlpool dishwasher and was out before you could say thank you. So compared to that this was awful.

First Installers were too lazy to do it

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First Installers said they needed a part that they didn’t carry on the truck, so they left the $1000 Dishwasher in my garage and we had to reschedule, it took Best Buy another week to get back out to installing it. Second installers were great and they agreed the first installers were incorrect on needing the part, and they installed it with no problem without the part. I complained to the Customer Service to get it installed sooner than a week, but they were rude and told me it was easier to have it returned. Called the management at the Auburn Hills MI Store twice for help and they did absolutely Nothing to help! Very Disappointed!
