I expected better

Not so much this one. They drilled holes into my cabinets and left screws sticking out on both sides. The dishwasher is not level and is not flush to the cabinets.

It says if the part for install was incorrect, the installers would fix it for an extra fee. They told me they couldn't fix it or install my dishwasher. I called a plumer to fix it. Call to make an appointment to install. The day before no call the day of no call so I call them. My appointment was canceled no one knows why. So i set up another appointment. In within 3 hours some how that appointment gets canceled and no one knows why. So in all Best Buy didnt install my dishwasher had to pay extra out of pocket to get it installed.

Thought the install was good ..... but

They made all necessary connections, worked through electrical issues, showed me it was installed level. Fast forward 3 weeks later --- something doesn't look right! The pressure exerted by the dishwasher on my counter top finally caused the fasteners to release. Now my counter top is floating and has a nice springboard action. My cabinets are standard height and meet the minimum install clearances. I can only imagine the leveling adjustment feet were cranked a little too much. They are coming out to fix it but now I get to waste more time "waiting" for them to come out during those infamous service hour windows. Hopefully they get it right the second time out.

Poor quality control. Rushed service

The dishwasher installed did not work and when support came back out, it was because there was a main chip missing. Had to schedule to have the full dishwasher replaced. The wash machine was installed and the drain hose was not properly connected and caused my basement to fill with a full load of laundry water. I thought using the installation service through Best Buy would have better quality control.

Dishwasher installation

It took 6 weeks to get an appointment after they cancelled my appointment 4 times. Installer did a great job. Something is wrong with your computer programs.

Mixed bag- great installation, lousy scheduling

The delivery management and scheduling system needs a huge amount of corrective work. Sitting around for 8 hours waiting for either someone to come or to get a call is ridiculous.

Poor Work Performed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After having my dishwasher installed for several months I noticed a constant smell emanating from it that didn't seem to be easily solved by cleaning the filter. After doing research online I discovered the source of the smell was drain water backing up into the dishwasher. The source of this problem stems from the fact that the installers failed to put in a high drain loop when connecting it to my sink. This procedure looks to be as simple as bracketing the drain hose to the top of the cabinet. I'm extremely disappointed that this wasn't done at installation and feel that the installers were simply trying to rush through my job and get to the next one. I will not be using Best Buy again to install my appliances.

Poor Customer Service with Install
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm glad that I didn't have to deal with installing the dishwasher or having to deal with disposing our old one, the only concern I had was when the guys arrived to install my dishwasher they did not even knock to come in my house they just walked right in. They did not introduce themselves in a professional matter and at the end of the service they had me sign paperwork stating that my dishwasher was not damaged, they were running my dishwasher at the time so I could not look at the inside so as far as I could see at the time there was no damage. I later discovered that there was damage to the inside of my dishwasher door. NOT HAPPY

I purchased an in-stock dishwasher that was broken beyond repair in delivery. It took 4 days to arrange for delivery of a replacement, after receding assurance that BB had more in stock. Although I had received email confirmation of 2nd delivery appointment, BB was a no-show - no phone call, text or other notification. When I called, I was told the DW was on backorder. The customer service rep who processed my refund was terrific, but the rest of the experience was unprofessional.

Extremely disappointing installation process

The power went out in a storm so they didn't connect it. I had to wait until Feb. 2022 for them to return to connect the hoses. While installing it, they cut the electrical line, so it could not be plugged in and run. Now it is 4/12/22 and I still do not have a working dishwasher. I give up on them and now am trying to find an electrician to pay $$$ to fix the job that Best Buy's installers made far worse. Terrible service, absurd waits.

A lil miffed that the install guy didn’t return the existing dishwasher as he found it. Now we have to pay for a new control plate to our old dishwasher AND they want extra $$$ to reinstall the old dishwasher since the Best Buy guy pulled it out and disconnected it. Not Best Buy’s fault we have a weird configuration but it shouldn’t cost me more money with someone else.

Installers broke pipe to main water supply

They did not turn off the water supply and broke the CPVC pipe during install. Took more than 6 minutes to locate the shutoff valve in the garage. They paid for the plumber to repair the pipe. However, it is nearly 30 days since the pipe break and we don't have complete resolution on water mitigation and restoration. Estimates are in an awaiting Sedgwick to approves costs for repair. There is no reason why I would have the installers return to do any repairs.

Do not use Best Buy installation!

When dishwasher was delivered in my new kitchen they did not take the block out of the garbage disposal. Major rookie mistake according to our plumber, this caused dishwasher to backup and drain. When we contacted Best Buy they told us the first day available to fix would be towards the end of December. This was very disappointing since we were in jeopardy of not hosting Christmas. This was very frustrating since we had to pivot from hosting Thanksgiving. Best Buy did not come through and we had to bring in a plumber to do the work.

Installation almost didn't happen

At first they didn't know, then came back saying it had been rescheduled (without our permission or knowledge). Well that timeline came and went. Then it was magically rescheduled again for a week later. Once again a no-show. Eventually they showed up but customer service was awful and rude and no help at all. They ended up waiving the install fee but honestly i will never buy another appliance from best buy, and if i did i would get a separate company to install if needed.

Wry disappointed in installation service.

Item was ordered and set for delivery and installation for May 3rd. The item was delivered without the installation person. When asked the delivery person stated that is a separate person. It is now May 21st and my item dishwasher) is still sitting in my living room. Twice an appointment was rescheduled by and through Best Buy and the nearest time has always been over ten days from the date they had to reschedule. Very disappointed.
