    Scheduled installation for a Monday but wasn’t installed until Friday with absolutely no communication from the contractor. Had to contact Best Buy several times to have it installed before our daughter’s Saturday birthday party.

    The dishwasher was basically placed into the correct area and mounted. However, I had to provide a power cable. The water was never turned back on and the dishwasher drain hose was never reinstalled. When the dishwasher was run for the first time it drained into the cabinet under the sink due to it never being hooked back up. In addition, because the drain hose was not hooked up, when I ran the sink water it came out the port where the dishwasher hose should have been hooked up, so it also leaked into my cabinet.

    My dishwasher didn’t work from the beginning, so Best Buy sent the installers back to re-check the installation. My appt was supposed to be from 7am-1pm. After several phone calls, they finally arrived at 6pm, I waited 11 hours!! The installer was here for 5 minutes and told us it was the dishwasher, not the install and we would need another one. So I should have my new one in about 6 weeks. I will have to hand wash dishes for a total of 3 months by the time my dishwasher finally gets here.

    Worst Customer Service, delivery, removal, install of my life! Took three times, incompetency of installers first time, second time original item defective, alas due to incompetency of installers they never verified the first time. Then had to have another removal and another install scheduled. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time Best Buy and their contractors have been less than quality! Hire your own installers and delivery people, you’ll be happier!

    I was told install would be completed by Best Buy's "Geek Squad". However, they decided to outsource it to a third party. They showed up at the wrong time, forgot to bring a dolly, used a blanket they had with dirt all over it to sit on. They were replacing an existing dishwasher yet chose to route the new hoses a different way... Through a hole on the side of the cabinet they made where my drawer used to be. They obviously couldn't put the drawer back when they were done. Oh and forget cleaning up after themselves. Having someone install for you is nice but if could do it again and knowing what I know, I think I would have opted to do my own install. Best Buy really let me down with their install.

    Worst experience of my life....I am still dealing with this since September....5 broken appointments for install of no call-no shows. Finally showed up in December and not only broke my cabinet but didn't secure the dishwasher correctly. Then after calling and complaining for days the Mankato store not ONCE not TWICE, but THREE times basically told me tough luck call an 800 # which I haven't not gotten anywhere with. I am BEYOND DISAPPOINTED!

    I got to give it to Best Buy for offering both free deliver and free installation. That is absolutely unheard of these days since Sears is no longer delivering or installing here locally. With that said, the company BB contracts with for their installations repeated cancelled time after time even after multiple rescheduling. It was quite obvious that they were trying to live up to some "at the customer's timeline" reputation but then when they lacked an available installer, they would cancel. They enticed me with a $50 check "for my inconvenience" as we are working folk ...who isn't, right??? BB should bring on more installer contractors when they are running a dishwasher event...JMHO.

    THE STAFF THAT CAME TO INSTALL THE DISHWASHER WAS VERY RUDE AND INCOMPETENT. AFTER I CONVERSED AT THE STORE THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE NOT BEST BUY STAFF BUT HIRED. THE PERSON WHO ATTENDED ME MADE THE REPORT SO THEY WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN BECAUSE IT DARRATES THE IMAGE OF BEST BUY.

    Unfortunately the installation resulted in property damage and corresponding claim after a damaged machine leaked into my crawlspace, subflooring, under cabinets, and into the back wall. No response from the claims team and no assistance fixing my now damaged home. Very disappointed to spend the amount of money we did getting brand new appliances, professionals installation, protection plans and then no support.

    Our other appliances were done by the Geek Squad so I figured we could have it installed by them. Apparently they don’t install Fisher and Paykel dishwashers very often. This was the worst experience we have ever had. We have had multiple appliances installed and cannot believe how bad this one was. We were told that he kickplate was too big. We were able to install it no problem. We had an error code during the first wash because they put it together wrong. We had a screw fall out within the first day of installing. What terrible service!

    Dishwasher was to be installed but the installation kit was missing parts. During the attempted install the installer broke my cabinet. Came back to finish install when he located the part. Still waiting on a fix for my cabinet

    Best Buy has installed my dishwasher I purchased from them twice now and it still does not fit properly. The left side shifts and the trim frames comes off. I have to keep hooding it in place and readjusting. I purchased 5 kitchen appliances from Best Buy. They have had to reinstall the dishwasher and microwave twice. The microwave was hanging down on the right bottom edge and I was concerned it would fall and break the stovetop they had also installed.

    The dishwasher was not installed. We have tried to make contact with customer service unsuccessfully. We paid for installation and are owed a refund. However, we do like the dishwasher .

    They damaged walls and door frames on their first installation. I informed Best Buy. I had some other appliances delivered later on and they sent the same people who damaged it the first time! Who confronted us about the damages!!! It was extremely uncomfortable. When I finally got ahold of a supervisor at Best Buy they said they never should have sent the same people who damaged our property the first time! Just a terrible experience overall. And now these disgruntled employees know where we live.

    All I can say is how disappointed I am with the support from Best Buy. I had the Dish Washer installed yesterday and it's been in an error state since the first wash cycle. After coming back to look at it, I was told I have to have it swapped out, but have to wait 2 weeks. Now I'm out a functional dishwasher for 2 weeks and there's nothing I can do about it. I can't even return it and have them put my old one back in as that too, will take a week or longer they told me! Unacceptable and not good customer service. The actual installation team did a fine job, it was unfortunate that the dishwasher did not work. Best Buy does not seem to think to much about "after market" support.
