Big fail

Installation

I like to personal attention provided with installation and plumbing. Best But uses subcontractors that are below par. "Two Brothers" installed incorrectly, I then waited two weeks to have Dishwasher uninstalled because to exchange it required a different team set of options. 25 calls later The second "Two brothers" team came and left me with a leaking valve, under the sink that dripped for days before I realized my wood floor in the kitchen was being damaged and lifting. I now have to replace entire floor!

Awful communication experience

Installers brought, did NOT install saying it was wrong size and electrical hookup was wrong. They took it and was "in transit" (lost/unaccounted for) for days.... unable to get refund. You can't reach the store. Some customer service people tried to help. Awful experience. Credit took 6 days.

Poor installation and service

After wasting time online with Best Buy and being told to contact 1-800-best-buy or geek squad and not getting any response, e-mail or call-back, I was forced to contact the store directly and after several hours of back and forth was able to schedule a technician to come out and fix. This should have been easily solved online by requesting a tech and entering the pertinent information. The fact that I had to speak to 3 different people to get an answer from a company that sells technology is pretty ridiculous to say the least.

Nightmare

When a suitable day was actually found, the technicians arrived 6 hours late. If that wasn’t bad enough, the installation itself was improperly done and resulted in a fire. Then, the repairs associated with that fire took weeks to complete (requiring multiple visits, of course)... In sum, a horrible experience!

Not equipped to complete installation

We understood the waiting period. Then when the installer arrived, he did not have all the proper equipment to complete the installation. We were told it would be at least another week to get the proper installer here to complete it. Not happy!

My brand new dishwasher sat in my garage for weeks due to their slackness. Best Buy store managers are impossible to reach when problems arise with delivery and installation. I will NEVER purchase appliances from Best Buy ever again! My brand new LG dishwasher is already not working properly! Hasnt even been used 1 month! Very Disappointed!

Dishwasher installation is done after more than a month but panel installation is not yet done. So many calls and follow up did not resolve the issue yet. Its been more than 2 months now, no action so far from best buy. Very poorly handled by best buy .Still waiting for Best buy to send some professional to complete the installation.

terrible experience

My counter needs this protective strip in order to prevent damage from steam/water. I called the installers and they came back out to install the moisture strip. While the installer was in my house he was complaining right in front of me. He said, "This thing is going to fail in a few weeks. It's a waste." I was very upset about how unprofessional he was.

Clown Patrol
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The "Techs" who clme in to install my diswasher were toatl clowns , they had an issue with my tiled floor, and said that I needed to remove a tile so they could take out my old Dishwasher and to install my new one. they went to the truck and said they would be back in a minute, I removed the tile, and they were gone, and when I called the the installation company, I was told that they could not come back for two weeks, so I had to install it my self. These are not BEST BUY employees and they showed up in a Rental truck without ID, Best Buy did not even care when I called and complained

Unsatisfactory Installation, terrible service

The machine was not balanced, nor attached properly to the cabinet. The A&E technician who came to "fix the leaking door" said it needed to be reinstalled properly but he could not do it. I waited a week and a half to have it installed, have not been able to use it for over a week because of the leak and waiting for the repair guy and now am being told I have to have it reinstalled. This is totally unsatisfactory!!

Good machine, but installers were no good

It’s quiet, cleans great, and we love the adjustment in the top rack. But the BB-hired installers did the drain line incorrectly (according to Samsung) and so the drain pump broke. The drain is supposed to come out of the top of the sink base and slope down to the port on the disposal. They ran it in the bottom of the sink base, with too long a hose, and burned out the drain pump.

Poor install...

As a result the kickplate was not installed and dishwasher was not properly mounted (It rocks forward when you pull out the trays.) We waited three weeks for the initial dishwasher install and have to wait another month before the dishwasher can be reinstalled. Already made several calls to Totaltech and as of 3/26 is still has not been resolved.

In fact is was such a debacle that I had to hire my own plumber to do the job. Best Buy does not have anyone who is qualified to install any appliance short of a toaster. Complete debacle - they had to refund me the cost.

Not installed properly

Installers Need More Training
