Don't bother using Best Buy to install your dishwasher unless you have a new house and the dishwasher is right next to your sink. They tried up charging me $250 on a new outlet and an extended hose. They will tell you "the code" changed in 2019 where they can no longer install hardwired dishwashers. This is false and if the set up is existing you do not have to change every outlet in your house as the code changes. Since the installers are not electricians and despite pointing this out they were still insistent they had to do it this way and they had to charge me extra. Do you really want a non-electrician installing an outlet behind your dishwasher? Never mind the fact the dishwasher comes with a hardwire conversion kit. According to these electrical masterminds Bosch and Best Buy are breaking electrical code. It's a third party that does these installs and they are clearly out to gauge you. I obviously didn't have them continue the install after the price kept going up, up and up. Since they didn't do the install they wouldn't take the old dishwasher too, which is not mentioned anywhere. It's not that hard to install yourself, I was just using it because I paid for the total tech membership earlier in the year so I might as well use it but I definitely will not be renewing my membership if this is the "free" service you get from it.

We had Mike do our installation. He was so extremely neat and pleasant to work with. He was very professional and talked with us about everything he was doing.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the installation team. They took their time to make sure that our machine was installed and worked properly.

I ordered a dishwasher on September 5 and scheduled installation for September 29th, the first available date. This was reasonable and I was grateful given all the labor constraints. When the technicians arrived (both very nice)they notified me that the unit was damaged and told me I would be contacted in a few hours to reschedule delivery. Again no problem, not their fault although I did wonder why the unit wasn’t checked before they left the store. And had me waiting for 4 hours for nothing. After that point things went downhill. I was not contacted by anyone from Best Buy, ever. I called the Best Buy Elite support line multiple times over the next 2 days for an update. I kept being told the item was in transit and I would be contacted when it was rescheduled. That also did not happen. On Friday I got an automated email notification that I needed to schedule an appointment. I did so, scheduled for October 6 and received an email confirmation(which I still have) that my appointment was scheduled for October 6. I received a second notification asking me to schedule an appointment, went in and confirmed October 6th a second time, viewed it successfully in my account. Scheduled another morning away from work for the rescheduled delivery. I went into my account this morning on my own, October 5th to see that the appointment made for October 6th which I had confirmed multiple times had disappeared and now I could only reschedule for Oct 20. I would have been waiting at home for an installation that was somehow cancelled with no notification to me. This has been extremely disappointing and going forward I will no longer use installation services from this company. I wish I had just bought the appliance and scheduled someone more reliable to install it. There is clearly a big problem between the system, the Best Buy Elite agents available for limited online support and the logistics at the local store. Very disappointed.

My appointment for a dishwasher installation was scheduled for between 2-6, at a tenant's apartment, they arrived at 8 and my tenant didn't want to let them in because she had a child in bed and complained to me. She let them in, and I received another call that there was an additional charge for a GFI and wouldn't leave until she paid. I told the installer to leave her apartment and I would settle it with BestBuy. Best Buy is sending me a 40 dollar gift card. I don't want to pay them for installation at all. I spend a lot of money with Best Buy but this is the last time I will shop there. The installer and the way Best Buy handled the situation cost them a loyal customer.
