The installers were an hour and a half late. By the time they arrived I could tell they did not want to do the install. They said the electrical was hard wired to the dishwasher and they needed to install an outlet for an additional $150 dollars. Then the water line was not right so they wanted to reschedule. One week later and a different installer. Water stop would not shut completely off so $150 dollars to replace that. I paid Best Buy $149.99 for installation and the installers $300 dollars for there part of the installation. I think it would have been cheaper to hire someone else to do the install.

Difficult to get the appointment set for installation. Installer did not install correctly and got a leakage check error (LC) after only two uses of the Samsung DW80K7050 series dishwasher. Geek Squad could not get anyone out for more than a week. Installer was scheduled to come out within 36 hours of call though, so there is that. Also...The email system at Best Buy kept sending out notifications that I needed to reschedule, when I didn't and neither did the local Best Buy. When told about the email problem the phone line person said she could do nothing about it and hung up, which was weird as she had not completed my transaction. Frankly this is a company with serious problems dealing with online customers. Compared to Amazon, which had similar pricing and installation, Best Buy has to get their lazy middle managers out of their offices and doing quality checks of their workers.

Geek squad arrived for installation and noticed the door opening was a little too narrow. Within 5 minutes, a carpenter had removed the door frame and there was plenty of room for the washer/dryer. Geek squad left and would not return that day. Geek squad promised installation some time the next week but never scheduled. Best Buy then scheduled delivery the next Saturday and installation the following Saturday. Three weeks later. Totally unacceptable!!!!!!!

My experience with Best Buy dishwasher install has been horrible. First try: dishwasher was supposedly damaged in transit. Install team never made it to our house. They said most likely we could get an install in a few days, a new dishwasher needed to be sent from the warehouse. Flash forward a week and a new dishwasher was never sent. We had to cancel the old order and reorder a new one. Second try for install: they can't do it because we don't have a fixture with PEX tubing. This time at least we get the dishwasher! If the install team had bothered to pull out the old washer, they would have found the valve for the PEX to be attached to. We ended up doing it ourselves. And since we did it ourselves, now our old dishwasher won't get hauled away, even though we paid for it?!? Will not get any install services from Best Buy again. Not worth the hassle.

Best Buy installer failed to show up because I missed his phone call, even though I had previously confirmed the appointment and was home waiting for him. Best Buy scheduled a make-up appointment for a week later (!), with the dishwasher sitting boxed up in my kitchen. Fortunately, I was able to line up my own installation which went very well. Best Buy refunded my money and offered a $12 gift card to compensate my for the inconvenience. I would not use Best Buy again for installation.

The installation was not done properly. Blanket insulation was sticking below door, paper work for dishwasher was left sticking out of the side of the dishwasher between dishwasher and cabinet. I had to use screwdriver to pry it loose. After several attempts to have this repaired. Someone else was sent back to our home and he repaired it by using tape. I was told that if it fell again, I should go to the hardware store and purchase some adhesive. Completely unacceptable response!! I was told that they don't make things like they use to!!!!

The dishwasher was delivered but I was told they could not install it. They said I had a leaky valve and they couldn’t fix it. Frankly, it seemed like they were looking for an excuse not to install. I said that I wanted to speak to a manager. I was told that the manager would call me on my cell phone in a few minutes. The men left and I never received a phone call. The new dishwasher is sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor. I also paid to have the old dishwasher removed, but they did not take it. I haven’t heard from Best Buy. No phone call. No email. No credit on my bill. No bueno.

Best Buy outsources its installation. Therefore, there is poor communication and coordination between the Geeks, their scheduling system, and the installers. Literally, one group has no idea what the other is doing. After 3 unsuccessful attempts to get the unit installed, I gave up and cancelled the order, haul away, extra protection, and installation. A pity because individually, the Geeks really try to make things right.

Here we are less than 4 years old and this thing is broken. Qoute $300 to fix. Flooded kitchen, constant dirty dishes, and super noisey. Repair company said he never recomends these. Started having issues after about 2 years. Lower rack wheels fall off and melt on heater element. Ive probably spent $100 on little plastic wheels. If you buy this, get the extended warranty.

The DW works but the installers damaged the counter. Numerous attempts to contact them but no response. Someone please contact me!!!!!

Complete run around. First installer came and broke tube off garbage disposal and therefore could not install the dishwasher. Had to replace garbage disposal and then after five phone calls with Best Buy scheduling, dishwasher install continually delayed. Right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing and I ended up canceling the installation and calling somebody who’s confident to do it.

I paid the $139.99 to have it installed and 8 months later it came lose and the dishwasher started to leak water called for a reinstall, and they now have a new company and they told me it never should have been installed in the first place. The old company jimmy rigged it in I have granite counter tops and the dishwasher has top mounts the old installation team tried to cover up the top mounts with tape and I have been dealing with there customer service for over a month and get a different answer every time one person tells me that they will exchange it and then transfers me to the department and I get discounted and the next person I talk to tells me theirs nothing they can do!!!!!!!

I did not have a branch pipe therefore my installer did not hook up my washing machine to the water supply. I would expect that the installers would have spare branch pipes in case of these types of scenarios. After the dishwasher was delivered my husband had to install the dishwasher himself.

The install was great but my screen door breaking sucked

Here I thought I was getting a deal on free installation. Then they come to install and I'm told it will be an additional $100 made out to the installer because they need to put on a new turn off valve because ours was the wrong type. I wish that it said what kind of valve you need otherwise I would have had my husband do it prior. Just be warned that if may look free at first but they may tag on extra charges when they get to your house. At least they were on time and there weren't any dings or scratches to the appliance or cabinets.

Awful experience that took over 6 months and over 5 visits to my home, many no shows and so many days of work missed, terrible communication all around. I was told when all was said and done they’d compensate me for my time, I was offered a measly $100 and then radio silence when I said that was insulting considering the egregious lack of customer service during this experience. I will be contacting the better business bureau.

Left and I discovered water from sink was severely limited. Called number immediately to have them come back and they wouldn’t answer. So couldn’t use dishwasher or wash dishes. Installers refused to have them come back earlier than 10 days. Horrible customer service. Now I need a new faucet Bc old one is clogged from debris

Still not installed properly after 6 weeks and as many phone calls

We thought that the dishwasher was installed correctly since it was working for a couple of months, but discovered that it was improperly installed by the Best Buy Geek Squad (they did not level the dishwasher so the dishwasher started to malfunction.) When I called to have them come back out to correctly install the dishwasher, I was told that the soonest that they could come out was 2 weeks and that they would be charging the manufacturer of the dishwasher for the "repair" even though it was the fault of the poor install job. Unimpressed!

I ordered a dishwasher at Best Buy, and saw a low installation cost for orders over $429. After scheduling delivery, I went to schedule installation. 1. The number given for installation is actually a Geek Squad number, and I had to be transferred. I was dropped the first time, and had to call again. 2. After getting in touch with Appliance Installation, they told me they had no record of my installation order. They had to search for it, located it, and had to cancel/rebook it. After all of this, I was given an install date 10 days from when I placed the order. Best Buy needs to make this process much smoother, like their delivery process.
