Poor install

But there’s a half inch gap at the top and on the left side sticking out a whole inch. This was pointed out to them before they left. Looks like something needs to be put underneath the dishwasher to prop it up correctly they didn’t have any shims or boards with them to do this, do you think they would for an installation. One of the installers said I could call them back out and they could try to complete the install. You kidding I’ve waited almost 2 months to get the product sacrificed my time and you can’t do your job correctly. Poor show.

the installers were terrible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we were first told they would come between 8 and 12 am. we were then called the day before and told they would come between 4 and 8 pm. We called the sales peron and said that was no good so if was changed to between 12 and 4 pm. When the installers arrived they told us that the panel would probably not fit. They then told us that they were able to do something to make it work. When they finished the installation the dishwasher was sticking out and they said that was because it was a different size than my old dishwasher. and they said they could not put the bottom wood piece on as it no longer fit and I would have to call someone to replace it. I called my contractor and when he came he said the dishwashers are all a standard size. He pulled it out and pushed it back and it all fit fine. However, when he pushed it in we saw that the wood on the side was nicked. It appears that the original installers intentionally left the dishwasher sticking out so we would not see that they nicked the wood.

I feel cheated

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since I paid for installation, I don’t have to pay for a valve, if would ve the case, it is impossible that the valve can cost almost the same amount of labor install. A valve that you guys can see in the picture $150, it is not the way how Best Buy is. Perhaps it was included for the Dishwasher price. Don’t accept any work for Mega Bross Logistics

They badly damaged dishwasher & hooked up poorly

The bottom drawer doesn't go all the way back because of it. They didn't hook up the drainage correctly because it has never fully drained. I have to mop out the excess water after each load. The bottom spray arm is also bent so that is scrapes against the casing slowly scratching it.

Dishwasher delivery driver damaged property

He promised to order the part and return and repair it. That was almost 4 months ago. He never initiated contact, always had an excuse or said he had the part but had to wait for a day off to come and replace it. Weeks would go by with no word from him. Despite being asked and promising to do it, he never sent us proof he had either ordered the part or had it in his possession. He has since stopped responding to texts and calls. I'm filing a claim with Best Buy's insurance company. (This review is in reference to the delivery and installation and in no way related to the product itself)

TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!

They install the dishwasher. My granite counter top drops down. So they send me to their “claims” department. Did everything they asked for took pictures got and estimate for repair. Haven’t heard a word back and this has been since Feb 2022. Every time I call no response. Call Beat Buy they sent you to Sedwig claims. WHO DO NOTHING!! now the dishwasher doesn’t work. I’m going to have to pay to fix the counter top just so that I get the dishwasher replaced. So buying the extra insurance is total junk for protection. No one helps.

Nice dishwasher but very frustrating process!

Then had to wait my maths more for a mother one to come in and be installed. Needless to say placed my order in October of 2021 and finally received a working dishwasher in may of 2022! Very disappointed and was not treated like a valued customer that just spent $6000 dollars in Best Buy! Absolutely appalled and mind blown about the negligence of the whole situation! Finally after 7 months of having to hand wash dishes we have a dishwasher. It’s nice but i wouldn’t say it was well worth the wait!

Installed I guess

However a few things were disturbing. first I was required to but the other dishwasher install kit. However, the installer didn't use all of the stuff out of the kit, he used some new and left some of the old stuff. Do you think he left the unused parts for me, NOPE! He just took the new items along with him like he purchased them. He should have used all of the new parts! Also he must have lost some parts because he used two different screws on the kick plate. One black, and one silver. The silver one sticks out like a soar thumb! Why but nice new appliances if the installer doesn't care what it looks like in the end! Lately, when I went to use the dishwasher I noticed the door rubbed a little bit, so I had to adjust the legs to make the door stop rubbing. Just seems like there was no real care in the install. It was just another job.

Installation Leads to $10,000+ in Water Damages

I paid for the "Pro" install, insurance and warranty 5 yrs, Haul away. $1,809.95 They installed on 6/12 and they didn't do it properly bc on 6/17 I found this in my basement. NO ONE at Best Buy or Sedgwick wants to fix this. It was installed incorrectly by Best Buys Majestic Installation. Costs well over $10,000.00 in damages. Have been dealing with this for over a month now.

a little disappointed

Now, cannot pull down the nozzle. Could not get it corrected, despite calls to appliance dept., 800 number and even the installer. Likely will end up as a do it yourself.

Slow leak on install of dishwasher under sink

I recently noticed there must have been a slow leak where they installed the dishwasher which now i have rotted cabinets. Of course the slow leak does not show up for along time later. I wont use them again for an install

Nice Dishwasher, damaged during install w/no reply
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dishwasher itself was fine, however, after paying almost $650 for a newly installed Kitchen Aid dishwasher, specifically waiting over a week without one to have it installed correctly only to open it after the install team had left to find 2 engraved scratches caused by the screws (which should have been flathead not round). I immed sent a customer service request via the website and never heard back. I am writing this review here since I am tired of spending time on hold and not getting answers. I want a discount on my charges, as the dishwasher would only be sold as it was left for me as a floor model at a large discount. Have never had a problem with Best Buy, I am hoping that my review results in the customer service Best Buy claims to stand behind and that this is an isolated incident that they mend on short order. I have attached pics of the damage...

A terrible, expensive experience

I am now consulting with a water damage and mold abatement/removal specialist, as well as a second specialist (required by law, as I take care of the water damage) to check for other issues in the home. The cost of repairing my home (cupboards, possibly flooring, and more) will almost certainly be far greater than the cost of the new appliance, parts, installation, and haul away. Best Buy, Geek Squad, and Sedgwick are all removing themselves from accountability, even after I submitted a detailed account, verbal quotes from the installer, and photos. When I followed up regarding this, Sedgwick and Best Buy no longer corresponded with me.

Damaged my home. No follow up.

Customer service notified twiceand told me they would send an email to make a damage claim. No follow up as promised. My office is still a mess with the water damage.

Damaged

Second appliance purchased in the last few months that has arrived damaged. Wanted a reliable fridge for my daughter’s dorm room. Had to leave it with her Bc she needed it. But not happy.

Poor installation

However, they marked the installation as "complete" so I still have to pay for it. Would not recommend their installation service.

Total Incompetence

Finally Best Buy contacted another appliance store to do the job correctly, which means another 3 week wait

Delivered Damaged and Unable to Return!

I have been trying to schedule a return/replacement but 2 weeks later and they still have not marked the product as “delivered” in the system so they can’t schedule a return! This all has been a very expensive headache thats has been taking up a large amount of space in my home. And i still dont have a working dishwasher.

Absolutely worst

Broke veneer of the cabinet next to dishwasher. I was standing right behind him and saw it and heard it. Acts like nothing happened. Then when I ask him. Says it was already broken. Company hasn't responded to my queries. It's been close to 2 mths
