There was a law change the day our dishwasher was supposed to be installed. The plumber was no longer allowed to terminate the electrical plug for the dishwasher. This resulted in an additional week of waiting time as we navigated through many phone calls with Best Buy and the installers. That part was frustrating, but in the end the work was good and the installers were easy to work with.

Installer were very unprofessional. After they arrived they started the installation and asked me to turn off the water supply. I went downstairs, turned off the water supply and when I got back upstairs they told me the the valve has been leaking and as per the Best Buy policy they cannot do the installation. As a precaution I always keep a pan under all the sinks (even in the bathrooms) but there was not a single drop in the pan and it was dry until he started the installation and I asked him about that. Since I was without a dishwasher for almost a month now I wanted it up and running, so I asked him if he can fix it. He said he can fix it but it will cost me $150 because they have to replace the valve. I decided not to get it fixed from these guys. They put the dishwasher in the foyer and left. Soon after they left I called my own plumber who came the next day. When he went to check under the sink the pan had overflowed and the water was all over the cabinet and behind the cabinet. He checked the leak and said that there was nothing wrong with the valves and all he did was tightened it to stop the leak. That made it clear that these guys loosened the valve on purpose so that they could charge me another $150 to fix what they broke. When I went online to get Best Buy customer support number I saw that installation along with hawl away both are marked as completed which was not the case. I called Best Buy to report the incident and the damage. I was told they hire 3rd party companies to do the instasllation, so I need to contact them directly. The only reason I had included installation and haul away in the order with Best Buy was because I don't want to deal with multiple companies. Best Buy has 3rd party companies doing everything. Even the property damage claim is handled by another 3rd party(Sedgwick) who rejected my claim based on the pictures from the installer. When I asked to see those pictures they refused and once again I was told to talk directly to the installers if I wanted to see those pictures. This was the first time I had purchased an appliance from Best Buy and will be the last.

Excellent service as expected. Installers quickly removed the old dishwasher, installed the new one and went over the operation. We worth the fee.

Truth be told. I could have done this myself. But... the time and the low cost of install had me have them do it. Guys are very nice and professional. They were in an out and came at the expected time.

The one thing that I had issues with was the delivery!!! As stated, they contacted me 24 hours before the delivery date of Saturday, 3/30 with a 4 hour arrival window time of 8:30am - 12:30pm. The original house refrigerator was to be moved to the garage and the old garage refrigerator was going to be hauled away - so by 8am on 3/30, we emptied both the house refrig and the garage refrig, figuring that at the latest delivery would be around 12:30 I called someone in delivery/scheduling at 1pm who said that they would have the delivery team call me - he called me and said they were 3 hours out, so that would make it around 4pm - we had to put most of the items back into the 2 refrigerators After the 2nd three hour window of time, I called him at 4:30 - he then said that they were still another 3 hours out So that's the initial 4 hour window, then another 3 hour window, and finally another 3 hour window - basically it became 10 hour window of arrival! The installers left around 9:30pm and then we worked until 12:30am getting things back into the 2 refrig - it was a 15 hour day I'm so sorry, but the scheduler was horrible.

Installer did a great job with the dishwasher. Would highly recommend!!!

Our Installer Fernando did a fantastic job. Took less then an hour to remove and install new dishwasher. And what was even better, we did it during the promo for free install of Kitchenaid items.
