I'm really disappointed with Best Buy's installation and support team. We purchased our new GE Profile dishwasher in late June and had it installed. During the installation, one of the installers bracketed the left side of the dishwasher incorrectly, then he cut the bracket to try and reverse his mistake which only made it worse. He also bent the frame in the process of driving the screw into it. The door is now difficult to close and impacts our counter somewhat. He then told us it was up to us to call customer service to get the problem resolved. We called (because yeah, that's now our job to handle) and they said they would send a new unit out the following week. The next week came and the delivery guy left a message that he was on the way (to the wrong address). He never showed up despite our efforts to call and get him to come to the right house. We then called support again and they proceeded to tell us that the dishwasher was now out of stock and would not be available again until mid-September but they would send another tech to try and improve on the current installation while we wait for the new dishwasher. Guess what...that tech never showed up either. Keep in mind that they need someone at home for an 8-hour window to wait for the service tech to arrive. I called again and got sent to the wrong department and had to call again and reached a guy that said he would have the escalation department call me back. I haven't heard back from them yet. I've bought a lot of products from Best Buy to the point of having an elite member status. Usually, service is pretty decent although there have been some bumps in the road and I've never felt inclined to give a negative review until now. It's wrong to inconvenience a client this much because of a mistake made by the installation and support team and not prioritize a resolution. I feel like I'm having to do most of the work to get this handled and then having to wait forever for someone to show up to make things right.

Installer arrived on time, hauled away old dishwasher, brought up 3 floors of stairs the new one and installed plumbing and electric for new dishwasher efficiently and correctly.

Pleasant installation experience. The guys were a great team and did not waste time. They were friendly and respectful. Would buy installation services again.

First, installed dishwasher and the installers did not check electrical outlet. Old code restricts that only one outlet is active to prevent overloading. Installers did not check to see which was "hot" and plugged in to wrong outlet. Then the installers declared that the washer was defective and ordered another and set up new time for delivery of new machine and installation. As they took the old one out, I asked that they check to see if there was electricity and then they discovered their error. On reinstalling the original machine, they damaged the washer wiring so that it would not function when all the way pushed under the counter. They declared it was the fault of the outlet and rescheduled installation after outlet could be repaired. Outlet was replaced and they returned and when they shoved the washer under the counter, it made contact with the damaged washer wire (not our house electricity) and electrified the washer chassis and sparks and burning came from the metal casing on the water hose where it touched water pipes. They again declared it was a house wiring problem, but I insisted they replace the washer wiring. They declared that the outlet needed work. I consulted engineers and electricians and they said it was not the house wiring. On inspection, the house outlet had no evidence of short circuit. I plugged the washer in they left in the floor and low and behold, it began to function normally. Had then to make another, the 4th one, appointment to finish the installation. The installers finally returned, some 3 weeks after the original attempt and installed the machine, it has worked very well since. Everyone I have consulted agrees the washer chassis electrification could not have come from the house wiring. One last thing, on the original installation, the installers left some very sharp metal sticking out where it would slice open your hand if you were not careful reaching into the dishwasher. After I pointed that out, that was fixed also. Adding insult to injury, as the installers were removing the old washer, they scratched the surface of the walkway finish and will have to be repaired. I contacted claims but they issued a number but never heard from them again after getting an email stating that a claim was initiated.

Our dishwasher was installed correctly and we didn't have any issues running it, but they were unable to secure it to our quartz countertops so they just left it sitting in the space. My husband had to bolt it to the cabinets on both sides to keep it sturdy and secure. Wish the professionals would have done it to complete their installation.
