Our dishwasher install was not a good experience. We were told a Geek Squad tech would do the install. Instead a 3rd party installer showed up(due to city codes we learned later) and he struggled with the install, not able to complete, wanting to cut our cabinets to get it to fit.(for another $150) We did not allow him to do so. Dishwasher was hooked up but not able to slide fully into cabinet. We complained to Best Buy and our local tech was able to complete the install 2 days later with no cutting required. Best Buy resolved the issue, apologized, and made it right with us.

I am very happy with this install. He installed 3 appliances and cleaned up after himself.

I was extremely disappointed with the dishwasher install. And we weren't able to get any help through Total Tech when we complained. It was like a maze of phone calls and representatives and still no help. We had the dishwasher installed through Best Buy and the installers knocked the u-bend under my sink loose and sideways. So I ended up with water all under my sink and on my hardwood floor and under my cabinet. I couldn't get to any water that leaked under my cabinet and my cabinet has water marks from the leak. And during the install process, one of the installers had to tell the other one to go back under the sink to actually finish it properly because he hadn't. And still they messed up and caused such a mess and leak. When we called the 3rd or 4th time they said the 3rd party installer marked down that they came back out and repaired it, which they never did. Which we informed Total Tech about. No help. I am just disgusted. I have figured out that the Total Tech when it is Geek Squad is wonderful. When it is a phone call to general Total Tech support, awful. I can't have Best Buy install anything again if this is what I will get.
