    BestBuy Delivery with installation and removal service is a nightmare. BB is unable to schedule deliver and installation/removal for the same day. Total inconvenience. The installers will ghost you and say they will be right back and just disappear. I was unable to get this issue resolved through their offshore customer service and also instore… Instore just says deal with their offshore customer service. I also paid for their $199 annual membership and that did not help this experience at all. Nobody in at BestBuy in the USA and offshore seems to care and tried almost everything… Geek squad instore was unable to get this resolved.

    Added charges for 2nd elbow joint required for my installation. I shouldn't have to pay for another kit for such a simple item.

    First time around didn't work because I needed to hire a plumber to replace the shutoff valve under the sink. Then I had to wait quite a while, while the huge box with the dishwasher in it sat in the middle of the kitchen. In the end, it was installed, but it's off center and sticks out about an inch beyond the surrounding cabinet. I've tried to ignore this, but it's just not professional. It bothers me a lot. I really think a different installer should come and pull it forward to pull out the bundled up plastic tube behind it so that it lays flat against the wall and then the dishwasher could be pushed back where it should be - even with the other vertical surfaces, and centered horizontally. The guy complained so much about the insulation and getting it stuffed in, that I didn't have the nerve to make him redo it. I regret that and wonder if Best Buy would send someone to redo its positioning??????

    They sent a contractor out to install my dishwasher. They plugged it into the disposal plug. It didn't work, they said it was my plug. Call electrician friend, who came over, my plug was alright for the disposal. The plug for the dishwasher was behind the dishwasher. We pulled the dishwasher and hooked it up right. Best Buy manager refunded my money for install. He was real nice. Problem solved.

    1. A 6 hour window to deliver and install is ridiculous. 2. They couldn’t even make that on time. 15 minutes past 1 PM 3. Total disregard for Covid safety. No mask and not mention of a mask. 4. Best Buy assures safety. They should make sure the installer follow the guidelines. 5. I would never recommend Best Buy for this very reason.

    Installers were very thorough to ensure everything was up to code, but that resulted in several hundred dollars of unanticipated costs.

    Worst part of the BB buying experience

    We decided to buy a new dishwasher on Memorial Day weekend, so we could take advantage of the sales tax holiday. The BB employee had warned us the week before that it would be busy and to get there early in the sale, so our installation wouldn't be a long time from the purchase, so we went first thing Saturday morning for that specific purpose. We bought a number of things while we were there including a vacuum, computer, and some other small things. The dishwasher was supposed to be delivered the following Monday between 8-11 AM. When they arrived they informed me that they only deliver it and were not the installers. They told me to wait a couple of hours, and if the installers still hadn't shown up, to call BB customer service. For whatever reason the installation made it on our receipt (it was free with the purchase of a Bosch dishwasher) but not in their system. They told me they could still install the dishwasher but they were 3 weeks out, so my husband installed it himself in 45 minutes. One of the main reasons we bought that particular dishwasher is because it came with free installation. They weren't apologetic about the mix-up at all and didn't seem willing to work with us on it, even though it was their mistake.

    What a huge disappointment. All excited that our new dishwasher arrived only to see one guy banging it around unboxing it and the other guy blows into the house with barely a hello and says "well, I see a big problem already." We have a direct wire on a dedicated GFCI circuit, which is compliant with code. It's also the way the unit is designed to be installed as per the instructions (it doesn't come with a plug-in cord anyway). He says we can't install it and you'll be getting a call from us. They leave the partially unboxed unit in our garage and soon after they left I get a call saying we need an outlet installed and they provide that service. Everything seemed very rude and suspect to me so I declined. Called my plumber and got it installed nicely the next day.

    It took a long time to get the dishwasher installed-too long! Customer service canceled several appointments for unknown reasons. Then we would have to wait another week for an appointment in which they might or might not come. A couple of times we were told we needed something done with the plumbing, then the electricity. We, of course then had to wait another week or two to have service come out. Frankly, we love the dishwasher but not customer service/installation service. Customer service also had a condescending attitide towards us when we called to fix the problem. One agent wouldn't pass me on to a manager when i requested one. My husband called, too, and got the same attitude. A manager didn't call him back until he called again.

    Vinyl floor was damaged. Cut open. Fast and kind workers, but there's still damage.

    Had to wait several weeks for the installation which was understandable given the holidays. However, after several weeks and at the hint of snow, they rescheduled my appointment to two weeks later. Wasn't pleased given that my current dishwasher was not working. Install guys were on time and were nice, but they didn't have all of the tools needed to replace my kickplate underneath the cabinet next to the dishwasher.

    The installer had a cancellation prior to our appointment and called to say he would arrive early. We order two (2) KitchenAid dishwashers to replace our old KitchenAid dishwashers. The dishwasher lines needed to be fished through the cabinets on either side of the sink. The installer told us he would not do this, left the dishwashers and said he would call us for another appointment date after the lines were fished. The job was not a typical install (hook up to the faucet). My husband fished the lines himself (about 30 min) and we waited to hear back from the installer. The installer NEVER called back, so my husband installed the dishwashers himself. Please know that if your dishwasher IS NOT a simple job, don't count on installation by Best Buy installers.

    Install scheduled for 4/27. Dishwasher delivered but install couldn’t be completed as told this would be a custom install with an up charge of up to $200. 8 in cabinet between dishwasher placement and sink with access holes already cut and where previous dishwashers were installed without issue. Rescheduled on 4/28 for install on 5/3. Received email confirmation of same. Called 5/2 for delivery window and was told it was never scheduled. Now rescheduled for 5/6. Meanwhile, I’ve already made first payment on appliance and more than a month wasted on total tech package for an appliance that is not set up. Not happy with this experience!

    Worst installation experience, and I flip houses so I've seen a lot. Won't ever use Best Buy, Home Depot or Lowes as they use the same 3rd party company to do their installations. If you want your appliances dinged or scratched or left without proper installation (no water line hook up, no anti-tip bracket, etc.), and a complete disregard for carefully bringing the appliances into your house while nicking, scratching your floors or cabinets -- these are the guys to hire. Buyer beware here. This is not a one-time occurrence. This is the regular practice. Plan on needing a week or two for these guys to need to come back 2-3 times to get it right, in addition to having your handyman on call to repair the damage they do to the rest of your house.

    They did just enough to say they did it. I had to go behind them and adjust and level it to make it look decently installed. They roughed up the countertop which I had to fix. They left a mess all over the kitchen floor. I believe I paid $160 for that service. So yeah... they connected it and pushed it into the hole and called it a day.
