Best Buy Guys Refused to Install Bosch Dishwasher.

They said removing the Old Kitchen Aid dishwasher and installing the new Bosch dishwasher was too complicated ??? Lousy service. I called my own plumber who quickly did the job for me.

Late

I wasn't thrilled because they rescheduled, then changed THAT date as well without asking if it would work with my schedule. Finally, they arrived hours after the scheduled time. It was a nightmare. Installation went smooth otherwise, and the men were nice. I think they were just way overbooked.

not pleased: additional $25 fee after paying $149

However, I was very displeased that an additional $25 was required for a rather simplistic metal piece to bolt the dishwasher to the counter. Our prior GE dishwasher was mounted with screws drilled into the counter. Best Buy will not allow the installers to mount the dishwasher in that manner. My 1 star rating is due to the fact we already paid Best Buy $149 for installation and I specifically asked the salesman not once, not twice, but three times if there were any additional charges or fees. Answer was no... so we will be visiting the Sarasota store to talk to the manager Mr. Dykstra to request a refund. Will update my rating after that discussion.

Great Installers, Not so great installation

The installation had one major flaw. I was not informed that there would be an additional plumbing charge for the installation. WE PAID FOR INSTALLATION AT BEST BUY DURING THE PURCHASE. Our existing shut off valve was difficult to turn. Installer told me he was not able to force it and that the only way my dishwasher would be installed TODAY, would be to pay him directly (CASH) for installing a new shut off valve. OR CALLING A PLUMBER to come, meaning the delivery would be postponed until the new valve was installed. As I had already been a couple weeks without a dishwasher, I actually gave him cash to install a new valve. I am still waiting to hear from my salesman as to whether or not I should have given the installer cash.

Big Box structure encourages shoddy work

This incentivizes an erosion of integrity. The dishwasher door did not close square, hitting the top left corner and then shifting to the left with each close; the dishwasher was not flush, sticking out from the cabinets; and the dishwasher was not level. The installer kept telling me, even as we're looking at it and watching the door twist close, that I was "splitting hairs" and that there wasn't a problem! The people at the store were easy to deal with and friendly.

You really should get a new electrician affiliate. They spent 20 minutes changing the switch and charged an extra $250. Absolutely ridiculous.

Worst Customer service I have ever experienced.

I have scheduled installations and no one has come. I have had to spend HOURS on the phone trying to figure out what was wrong. I have had my microwave backordered for 2 months. I have been hung up on twice just today. I am a premier member but that doesn't matter. I have asked to speak to supervisors and have been told "we're all working from home so theres no one to send you to. I will never ever buy anything from best buy again. I don't care if I have to pay double the price. I have never been more diappointed with a company in my life. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Installation Fee nightmare.

Installer could not complete dishwasher installation and left it sitting in our living room. Called for refund to be issued. When the billing statement came, the refund shows as pending 3 weeks later. Called Best Buy billing and they have no record of a refund. Now I have file a dispute and fax documents for something they couldn't install.

Installers were barely OK

He did nothing but watch the other 2 and make suggestions. It felt like a government crew. The 2 that did the work were not willing to go even a small 1/2 step extra to solve a problem. It was not good at all. I let them know how unhappy I was, and they finally resolved the issue.

Have to replace it with a different unit because the original is back ordered till May. Does not heat dry either. I hope the replacement is better than this one.

They came and installation guys could not hook it up they do not install any parts needed to do the install. So I rescheduled the delivery, they never showed up. "Oh sorry truck broke down" rescheduled again said they were out of the dishwasher I ordered. Waited again finally they call and have me set up. Ok they get here and have the wrong dishwasher. The salesman wrote up the higher priced one and not the one I wanted. I asked the delivery man why a different color than the one I ordered. I was told he didn't know. After they left I had the chance to look at it. Sure enough wrong dishwasher. The one I wanted had very big controls the controls on this I can't hardly read even with my readers. Never again Worst Buy!

Pennys dishwasher

Broke handle off while turning off water so charged over $200 to have them fix it. Then said we needed a center mount which cost over $100. So almost $400 & it either had to be cash or check. Then on top of it the ran the water return line incorrectly & we had to have it redone. I love the dishwasher so far just would never have delivery from them as they delivery people are not properly trained to install equipment.

Mis communications

Luckily I had a visitor who brought that person in. They said I had a "frozen pipe" but after putting WD40 on it myself I was able to un freeze it. I had someone else install it without the confusion and all is well now. I definitely had complaints to BB customer service

But I was extremely disappointed with the delivery guy. he didn't even do what he was sopose to do..
