Installation guys were decent at installation of dishwasher

3 Deliveries on Dishwasher in less than 4 weeks. 1st delivery, Dishwasher was dented and leaking. We Did not notice until 2 hours after installer was gone. 2nd delivery on new dishwasher, it was dented worst that the first. Installer claimed someone would contact me the next day for another exchange. No one did, 5 days later I called Best Buy and explained the story. 3rd Attempt, Best Buy hired a 3rd party delivery company to drop it off and tell me very rudely they don't uninstall or install. Best Buy left me hanging. I spend a lot of money at Best Buy, and they just lost a Customer. The Home Depot or Lowe's is where I'll be buying my appliance's in the future.

Delivery of the installation kit and the dishwasher itself were fine but I still can't understand why they had to be separate. The biggest disappointment was that the installation and the haul away did not happen and I still don't know why. I made two appointments and no one showed up. No call, no show. So, I asked for a refund on that part of my payment (install and haul away). Now, I will have to find some way to get my dishwasher connected and the old one taken away. Not only did I not get part of what was promised and what I paid for but my valuable time was wasted. As of this moment, I'm still waiting on my refund for installation and haul away.

Start off when they unwrapped the dishwasher it was destroyed the door wouldn’t open it was so bent and dented. So couldn’t use dishwasher on top of that he didn’t plug water line off. Water under sink all over floor talk to appliance manager he didn’t seem to care. He called and acted like he was going to do something about it. Was driving couldn’t talk so he was supposed to call back no return call back. Will not purchase from Best Buy again. I have been buying from them for years. Sad nobody has no work ethic or pride about working

I hadd the worst experience with a simple installation of a dishwasher. the third party contrator for Best Buy left me with an incomplete installation and asked me to assume the risk of having to cut the toekick for the Cafe dishwasher to the proper height. At the end, they left with the dishwasher installed too deep into the space and refusing to adjust the deepness and without citting the towkick.

Installers either never showed, or some reason he couldn’t install!! Just kept rescheduling for both dishwasher and electric range and independently rather than together?????

The install crew Best Buy sent didn't know what they were doing. They didn't the dishwasher leveled properly and didn't take the plug from garbage disposal before they hooked up drain hose. So it wouldn't drain! Additionally, they gouged up our hard wood floor during the install. We had to get our plumber to come out and install it correctly! Very disappointed in Best Buy contractors!

They were too much in a hurry and did not answer all my questions.

The installation was a comedy of errors. The first unit was delivered damaged and had to be returned. After that first incident the installer called to say that he visiting our house to install the second unit. We had to tell him that the second unit has not yet arrived. Long wait times. Second unit installed. Doesn’t function correctly. We want to exchange it. A real disastrous experience with Best Buy. Buyer beware. Perhaps reasonable pricing upfront, but we have been waiting monthsand are still waiting for the unit to operate correctly. You pay more over the long run due to after purchase nightmares. Consequently we will purchase our washer dryer fridge and television at another locaion. I can’t deal with this again. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

The installers are as low quality as they get. I purchased a dishwasher with installation and they came the first time and said they couldn’t take it out. I asked if they tried adjusting the feet below it and they said yes they need to come back after I cut my tile. After they leave I unscrewed the feet underneath it and pulled it out myself. On the follow up visit they were supposed to come from 2-5pm when 7:30pm rolled around I got frustrated and ended up cancelling the appointment all together. Long story short I installed my own dishwasher.

We bought the dishwasher on 12-12-22, it was installed broken but still functioning before Christmas, at 1-4-23 your people tried to fix the broken part, but he failed, he ordered a new dishwasher for us it was supposed to be installed today on 2-3-23, but we received a call from best buy saying they do not have installers available so changed to my new day to have a new dishwasher on 3-3-23. I hope after all this trouble I will have a new dishwasher, very disappointed with your service.

Installation did not secure the washer to the cabinet or counter top. Washer was left floating and when you opened the door unit fell out. They should at least bring a kit to attach the unit.

The gentleman that installed the dishwasher, dented the appliance. When I pointed it out to him, he took a picture and said he would report it.

The installers damaged my walls and trim upon in the entryway of my home. Which they claimed they didn’t do. Mind you I had the enter house painted and all the trim work done after I moved into my home. Best Buy said they were going to take care of it and never did. Instead the installers called me from their personal phone and basically threatened for pictures because this comes out of their pockets for repairs they didn’t do any damage. This was poorly handled and I will NEVER buy anything from Best Buy ever again or get it installed.

This review is about the company that was supposed to deliver and install my dishwasher. It is going on 2 weeks and I am still waiting. I had to reschedule the original delivery. I was told by XPO to call them to reschedule. Then when I called them they told me to call the store that I bought it from. I called the store and had it rescheduled. Then XPO calls and says that they can't schedule and I would have to wait an additional 5 days. I told them to cancel the order. They didn't so 3 days later I get a voicemail saying that they will deliver tomorrow. Tomorrow arrives I get a call from the installer saying that the dishwasher did not make it on the truck and he would have to reschedule. I tell him not to bother and to cancel my order. Which he did not. This has been a horrible experience. Mainly due to XPOs incompetence.

The first time the installers came out they told me that my shut off valve for the water was broken; I stupidly believed them and a plumber visit and $100 later I was told there was nothing wrong with it. The second time they came out they told me that the dishwasher I purchased was too large and wouldn't fit. He pulled out his tape measure and attempted to show me until I pointed out that he was measuring off his work mat and not the floor (it fits). After that they told me that it would be an extra $100 to re route the wires from the conduit to the new dishwasher becaue the electrical box was on the other side. I wanting my unit installed and this nightmare over with begrudgingly agreed. In the end I wish I would have just installed the dishwasher myself; I would have save $200 and a whole lot of hassle.

Used to purchase from Best Buy exclusively because they had the best installers (in-house and trained well), but these third-party installers are awful! I have never had a dishwasher start to come out of the insert… This was installed very poorly!

I have yet to get my dishwasher installed yet and I have already had terrible service. First...the online system would not allow me to schedule an installation date online. Then all of a sudden online it said my installation was scheduled so after calling in several times to see what date that would be nobody had an answer. Finally they said it would be installed on a Friday. After nobody showed up I called in again and finally somebody said that a 3rd party does the installation and that I should get a call from them after the order was placed...which eventually did happen. So after getting my dishwasher delivered on a Thursday it will be installed on a Tuesday. Was told by a BB CSR in Dallas that I will be compensated for the troubles that I've had with nobody getting me the correct information. I will be following up on that.

This installation was done by an outside vendor. I want to start by saying I had two other appliances delivered by Best Buy directly, and they were outstanding. The person that installed my dishwasher was rude, bothered by me watching him install the dishwasher, not careful with my new countertops, and installed the dishwasher unsafely, and knew he was doing it. From the moment he walked in our house I had a bad feeling from him. Again, anything delivered directly by Best Buy was outstanding experience!
