    Best Buy should be ashamed of poor service

    Our installer was over 2 1/2 hours late for scheduled appointment. After calling the store where we purchased several items to be installed, the store manager was NOT helpful at all. I paid Best Buy for my purchase, NOT the installer. Best Buy took my money, but did NOTHING to assist in the installation issues after purchase. Absolutely pitiful response from Best Buy after I called them to express concerns. Also NEVER received a call back after registering phone complaint to store manager. He said I would be contacted by a regional rep, but never heard back from anyone. Disgraceful service...

    Dishwasher leaks after installation

    First installation appointment date - no one showed up Had to call Geek Squad help line for another appointment which was 20 days after purchase Day after installation found water leaking on floor in front of dishwasher Now again called Geek Squad help line Yesterday they said installer would call back but installer never did call back Now I have to make a third call to the Geek Squad help line

    At the store I was told that I needed a separate water shut off valve and electrical outlet for installation, which I have. Once the installers arrived they told me they could not install because of the the type of water shut off valve I had (saddle valve). When I asked them why, they told me that my valve would leak and their policy forbids them from completing the installation. I showed them the Best Buy documents that I was given and that there was nothing about valve type in the documentation. However they still would no do the install. I sent them on their way and did the install my self with no issues and no leaks, then called the store to get a refund.

    Terrible job with my install. They had the wires touching from both sides of the box and causing the dishwasher to short out when the wires touched. They sent out another guy and he had no clue how to fix it. It wasn’t until I looked at it to notice what was going on and I am an accountant. I should get a refund for the install because none of them had no clue.

    Installer completed the job accurately but was under the impression an incomplete job was best for him. He was rude and discourteous.

    If I could give a -10 star review this would still not suffice on the level of frustration this has been. There is no reconciliation at this point that will cover the amount of problems this installation has caused. The appliance was "installed" a month ago, still does not work, and I have attempted to reschedule 5 times without them either scheduling correctly or contacting me correctly.

    This has been the worst install experience I have ever had. We are still waiting for a refund on this service four weeks after the initial mess up. We were suppose to have a dishwasher installed on a Saturday between 12-4. The guy showed up after 8pm was incredibly rude and said he didn't have the items in his truck to install it. We would have to reschedule. It took four more days and several phone calls to finally get an install scheduled. Best Buy and the install people they use are completely worthless when it comes to customer service and installation of new appliances. We will not use them again regardless of how much cheaper they might be. Not worth the headache I am still dealing with. Would give zero stars if it was an option.

    I bought this in September 2019. We dad an old dishwasher that had connections at the base and had to be removed. BestBuy told us to get it fixed before they could do the installation. We got that done. But next time BestBuy showed up they showed up for the refrigerator installation (which they have already done and wrote we need a water line for it). Told them repeatedly we are not talking about the refrigerator but the dishwasher. WE JUST CAN'T GET THEM TO DO THE INSTALLATION. Went to BestBuy even they could not get their own guys to fix the mixup. Been told again as again some one will call. STILL WAITING

    They were unable to hook it up- they needed a valve. I guess they are not allowed to go get a part or even send me. They travel a long distance (not local workers) and left it undone…. Maybe policy i don’t know but had to end up paying a plumber to fix and it took weeks. Hopefully it was a flook. I typically rave about best buy and their service.

    Will never order an installed product from a big box store again- I'll only use them for pricing then take the quote to a local owned dealer. 5 attempts to install this dishwasher at our owned rental unit. We had to juggle schedules with our tenant multiple times and of course then and us missed work because of Best Buys 3rd party vendor screwups. Store knocked off some $ with refunds and retail store gift cards to compensate. Area manager arranged for a Best Buy gift card that we received in the mail. So, all in all we ended up with half off price for the machine installed but my time, and my tentants' time were wasted by the ordeal.

    The worse experience ever!!! When item was sold to me and i purchased installation. Continues delays with multiple rescheduling for this item. Total of 8 rescheduling. Finally after delivering I was told that installation will cost me additional 600$

    Whoever best buy subbed this out to didn't do a great job. Once I kicked the dishwasher on for the first time for a longer duration than a few minutes, my kitchen flooded. I had an actual plumber come out and fix the install out of pocket. I will say that I went back in and the store manager took some $ off the total order to supplement my out of pocket expense. I thought that was a nice touch.

    The company that came out did not hook it up correctly. They did not tighten the connectors so it was leaking in my basement for almost 2 weeks. so i went down and took photos of all the damage it caused and the company that works with best buy took over and they declined my claim stating i need to have a plumber fix it. Even though the issue was them not tightening the connectors so i am still fighting with them to get my money back for all the damage it caused

    The company that Best Buy sent out to my House not only tore a hole in my kitchen floor But the didn’t clean up and removed my Paneling on the edges of the dishwasher I Had magnetic strips to fill the counter space And now they are gone. I ended up spending Money on an air gap which was not required For the dishwasher I purchased as it has one. So my free installation cost 200.00. I won’t trust Best Buy with my future appliance purchase.

    This is the worst installation experience I had so far for the dishwasher. There was 1st one Installer PRECISION arrived just dropped off the dishwasher and without further advise to cancel the original pipes and install electrical outlets. If they could advise up front then I will not have to arrange 4 times to have different installers to come out!!! Very disappointed. Should have not contracted with one like that. very unprofessional.

    When my dishwasher was "installed," there were no countertops or plumbing in the kitchen. They hooked up the electricity and that's about it. I will have to pay a second time to get the unit installed when the kitchen is finished. This was a waste of money.

    I had an appointment window scheduled from 4-8 o'clock. Some one called me at 6 saying they would be at my house by 7...so around 8:30 two gentlemen arrived at my house. Both appeared like they had just left prison. Pants sagging off their back sides, long t-shirts, unkempt facial hair. One had headphones on and argued with a woman the entire time. They took a look at my old dishwasher and told me I needed to buy a different part from a hardware store, drill holes AND schedule another appointment...why not install the whole dishwasher while I'm at it?? I'm not a handyman, that's why I hired someone to do handyman work. Why do your sub-contractors not carry the equipment they need to complete an install?

    Scheduled a day for install, took day off and last minute they cancelled. No choice when to reschedule. Showed up and did good job on install but Best Buy offered zero compensation for my inconvenience. And they kept calling later to reschedule after install was done. Crazy. Go with local plumber for install or just buy at Home Depot.
