||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchase Disney Infinity figures primarily for the collectability. I don't own the starter pack that would have enabled me to actually play the video game aspect of it on my PS3. I'm only after the figures, and use them for display. As far as "action figures" go, these are very well made. The detail on them is amazing given their size (about 3 inches tall). They're more like small statues than action figures because they lack joints to make them poseable, but it doesn't take away from their ability to look really nice on a shelf, especially in big numbers. This version of Kylo Ren is the one that doesn't have the light-up feature for the lightsaber. I'm not sure if there was a way to make the lightsaber light up when not connected to the game console so I didn't risk it. Then again, it's just a $1 difference between the two at the time I purchased this.

Disney Infinity Character

It's nice that there is such a big selection of characters to choose from - some that would suit older kids (like Star Wars characters) & some that younger kids would like too (like Olaf from Frozen.) My son is 11, and doesn't play with a lot of toys anymore, but for him this is a "go to gift".
