Any Infinity owners should make sure they pick these up before they are no longer available. It really enhances the experience of playing the game and they aren't overly expensive. I'm knocking one star off because I preferred the fun of buying the 1.0 and 2.0 blister packs where discs cost about 1/2 as much (though I'm not stuck with a bunch of duplicates), but it remains high because you will want to get these if you own the game.

If you want power ups or extra outfits, then pretty much the best way to get them (quickly) is to buy an accessory pack like these. Since they have come down in price due to the game being discontinued and supported, they have become a viable addition for my son. He loves the game and wanted different outfits, ships and accessories, and these make that happen!

This review isn't of the abilities that are unlocked by the discs, because my kids and I haven't played with them yet, this review states how awesome it is that 3.0 power discs are no longer conceleaed in a package that you don't know what you're getting. It's great that you can tell what discs you are getting and not just the "luck of the draw".

These are worth it when on sale, these make the game more fun.

These discs are a fun add (for not too much $$) that allow you to change the costumes or skills of your characters. Each disc is tied to a specific character and play set, but son enjoys them so much, I pick them up on sale with GCU and squirrel them away for rewards. They won't change your game play too much, but kids seem to really dig them.
