Customers are impressed with the fun gameplay and expansive content offered by Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition Toy Box Takeover, praising its compatibility with characters across different Disney Infinity versions and the enjoyable addition of Star Wars elements. However, some customers felt the price point was a bit high and that the game's length could have been improved. The camera angle also received some negative feedback.

Unlocked a lot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't understand what these things are for, but my girlfriend wanted it really bad. When placed on to the stand I guess it unlocked a whole bunch of stuff for the game, which I don't think should be blocked off with paid content in the first place. But what do I know. She's happy with it and it was cheap I guess.

Not what we expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't quite expecting this type of game. My younger kids found it a little frustrated and the top down look of the game wasn't as nice as the regular third person view in Infinity

One Good Level, but Nothing Else...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hearing that the company took notes from the last game, and said they made a new dungeon-crawling type expansion that allows ALL characters to converge in an Action/Adventure honestly had me a little excited to see if they really pulled off a price-worthy expansion.....they did not. Toy Box Takeover runs on a simple plot; to defeat the villains of Disney Infinity and take back the Magic Wand, but it suffers from the same problem the game's been dealing with since the beginning, it's heavy reliance on "Toy Box" pieces. It refuses to do anything new or unique other than the first Pirate level did with it's water features and transforming environment. This game is once again a bunch of preset Toy Box Levels, with a cheaply programmed "Boss" at the end of each one that does nothing but move forward, and attack with the same string of combos every 5 seconds like a kid brother playing Tekken for the first time. It's insulting and mocking that Disney boasts being the #1 selling Toys-to-Life game when their product feels so cheap and detached from Players compared to various other titles out there in the world. Disney and Avalanche need to stop relying on the Toy Box mode to do their job, and start considering putting some quality game design into this product.
