I purchased the Disney infinity Disney Originals thinking it was the Marvel Heroes..

You kinda need these to get further along in infinity if you want to unlock more.

Loved it. Great game for kids and adults! The colors are perfect, lots of detail. Young and old alike will enjoy it.

Power packs are an ok value. At about $5-6 for 2 of them, its a gamble. I know some people like the random idea, but personally I'd rather see what it is, as I have 3 of the same power pack, not much I can do with that.

Discs add more features to already great characters.

Need I say more. Infinity and marvel super heroes!

I'm thinking the selection is very small because I purchased 3 and got 2 sets of repeats. Waste of money

I don't understand the craze with these they are just weird

I bought these things, gave them to the kids, and they lost them after trying them one time. The figures for the game are simple, put them on the portal and they work. These are a little more complicated, kids will ask what they are for.

i personally did not enjoy the game, the game is very boring, repetitive and requires alot of time investment to build a world

The Infinity power disc pack contains two power discs. It includes hexagonal power discs and circular ones, but not always both. A circular power disc: * Is placed underneath a certain Infinity character * Changes the costume of a character ( For example, if you placed an Aladin power disc with Aladin, he would change into his prince costume as opposed to his peasant outfit) * Does not affect the characters' powers A hexagonal power disc: * Is placed on the hexagonal slot on the Infinity base * Affects the world around you * Does so in a way that involves the characters on the disc * May have a different affect than another The cool and bad thing about this product is that you never know what you're gonna get, but that means you can trade extra power discs with a friend, almost like trading cards.

The 1.0 & 2.0 blind packs of power discs are both maddening and highly addictive. Though we though we would prefer the clear packs adopted for 3.0, it took some of the excitement out of buying them. There's a crazy love/hate experience involved in buying the blind packs. Did you get what you want? Did you even get something you don't already own? You never know until you open the pack. The 2.0 Disney Originals packs include some great vehicles like Darkwing Duck's Ratcatcher, Mr. Toad's Motorcar, Aladdin's Magic Carpet, Main Street Electrical Parade Float, and Jack Skellington's Reindeer. Weapons include the hilarious Mabel's Kittens for Fists from Gravity Falls. Abilities include some fun ones like King Louie's Monkeys, and Cursed Pirate Gold, which turns Jack Sparrow (there should be a "captain" in there somewhere) into a cursed skeleton.

cost is pretty reasonable bought one pack for 3 yr son under the impression they were levels for his infinity 2.0 game. they are not, they are alternate costumes,addons and power-ups for his characters. bought one pack of each (avengers / originals) - the results are random apparently, the originals pack was an alternate costume for aladdin and mr incredible. the superhero pack had a hulk addon that made the level be "ravaged" by world war hulk and one depicting dr strange which was a forcefield powerup. the circle ones go under the characters and the hexagons go under (or over?) the playset/toybox discs. overall my son enjoys it and they are not much.

This is a great addition to my Disney Infinity game, I just wish they did not sell the power discs in blind packs.
