The movie was well done. Obviously many changes were made from the original book in order to fit it within the movies timeframe but I felt nothing big was omitted. Scenes that were not in the movie that I thought would be turned out to be in the extras as deleted scenes.

This is a movie that is based on segregation. The individual who knows him/herself has the ability to look within to determine their true future. Acceptance is the only aspect of existing that constitutes truly living. Great Movie!

Love the story, actors, action and special effects. Also makes you think about 'divergents' in our own society and/or personalities. Can't wait for the next chapter "Insurgent".

The story-line and actors were able to consume you, and bring you into the movie. I am not a reader of the books, so I cannot speak on the story-line as told in the book. I bought this for my son and wife, and we all enjoyed the movie, and had a great night together.

I purchased this movie because it looked like it would be good to watch. I it pretty good even though it is not my type of movie. I am glad I didn't watch it at the movies. I love purchasing movies at Best Buy. They have a great selection and great prices.

A lot of similarities between this book series and Hunger Game book series. Although this is the first movie based off of the books it resembles the Hunger Games a lot. But if you like the Hunger Game movies you will like this movie.

I thought it was great that best buy had an exclusive tin edition for same price as regular blue Ray. Even better was getting the DVD and digital copy with it.the movie itself is also fantastic even if it is different from the novel.

I was not really interested in the movie until my father said that it was pretty good and for my father to say a movie is good I had to check it out. I was not disappointed and couldn't wait so I bought the sequel same day.

I found this story line to be very entertaining. I didn't even get sleepy which is saying a lot from me. Sat down and watched it in one sitting. Kind of along the line of the hunger games so if you enjoy them you will enjoy this.

This is one of those fantastical story lines that translate into a good action piece. It is well acted and edited to a fast enough pace so that one doesn't have time to question some of the improbabilities that are common in most of the films in this genera.

Great movie to see. The screenwriter definitely did their work, read the book, and tried to keep to the author's perspective. Although it's drama, there is more action than what was expected. Buy the books and must watch 2nd movie.

I LOVE the Best Buy Steelbook packaging!! I had already seen the movie - great story, acting, and visual effects- so I knew my family would be excited to own the movie, but the packaging is really what makes this a classic piece :)

Lots of action, loved it. I never read the books but now i cant wait to to see if they are close to the same. Must see this movie. I havent heard any negatives about this. Tell your mom tell your brother tel your friend everyone should see this and read the books.

I love this movie and is comes in a great metal case. It also came with some temporary tattoos which is also kind of fun since the movie definitely showcases some interesting tattoo designs. Overall, a great price for a nice case!

I thought it was an awesome movie. Similar enough to the book that I wasn't that upset! Thought they could have developed the relationship between Tris, Will, Christina, and Al a little bit better ... But all in all a great film!!

The first in the Divergent trilogy, it starts somewhat slowly, giving the viewer the background of this unique society where the population is divided into five groups. The action is good, and the film is pretty faithful to the book (as far as I remember!).

I bought this movie for my thirteen year old daughter. She saw it in theaters and came home telling me she wanted it. I surprised her with it after school, and she was really happy. The movie was pretty good too. It gave us an extra reason for some family time.

Best movie of the series with very good acting. Good pacing, lots of twists and turns, action scenes that look real— all make for an entertaining movie. Quality of HDR is superb provided you have an “effective” HDR TV and player.

I didn't read the book so I can't base this review on the comparison between the two. But the movie kept my interest the whole time. It was somewhat predictable at points but had a interesting plot. I'd rate it as one of the better movies to release this summer.

This movie was really good. It was made for families but the older generation can enjoy it too. It was action packed and full of surprises. It did have a slow progression in the beginning but picked up to a good pace at the end.
