This storyline leans towards more of the adult world.It concerns coming into adulthood with its reality checks ,some very harsh and dramatic,with an anticlimactic ending.Not for the faint of heart.

I never read the books and didn't plan on watching that movie, but I walked in and it caught my attention so I bought it. I loved this movie! I cant wait to see the other ones too!

Having already rented the movie I STILL had to buy it. Looking forward to the next ones and will buy them as well. Theo James makes it worth buying but the movie was really good!

the movie was had a good plot, which keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat...i found myself hating then loving then hating then loving the main characters. great movie!!!

Best Buy has done it again for me. Has the best deal in town for the combo pack and made it easy to purchase. On top of that, I love the move too. Watched it the night I bought it.

This was a good startup movie for the series it gave you enough story to build up the series but kept you interested in what was going on in this movie. I can't wait until the next one comes out (insurgent)

Bought as a gift for fan of "The Hunger Games." While some thematic similarities are present, Divergent is a good movie with strong cast. Well worth watching. Even found myself anticipating sequel next year.

watched this movie when it was in theaters and liked it so much I bought it the day it came out on dvd, doesn't matter if you've read the books or not you'll enjoy this movie

I know you can't judge a book by it's movie but I enjoyed both in this case. Yes, there are some differences and you, of course, get more information in the book but the movie held true to the book's intent.

This movie was not only thoroughly entertaining, but it creates anticipation for the next movie in the series. Special effects are realistic, & the acting itself is not that bad.

Divergent was surprisingly good. The blu ray is nice and clear with excellent sound. The steelbook case is a nice touch and I like them in my collection. Comes with iTunes copy which is very important to me.

very good movie, being able to get the digital copy along with the dvd is a major plus because now I can watch it on my tablet at work or on long car rides.

Read the books first, and this movie stayed mostly close. As always, more detail in the books, but my family enjoyed this movie. Looking forward to the remainder of the series.

I read the books before watching...fun to see how my images from the books compared to movie actors and actresses. Did not disappoint. I am anxious to buy the next movie.

Divergent uses just the right blend of cinematic special effects and practical effects to create a visual story like no other. A great adventure for one to own.

I like this movie in the theater's and when it was on sale on Black Friday I bought it. I never read the books but I thought the movie was good from the beginning to the end!

I am a sucker for anything with a sci-fi bent. Add to that a good hearted underdog and a little romance, and you've got a brainless use of 2.5 hours. I love how hollywood spoon feeds us everything we need!

Not a bad film version of the book. Good character development and a great story. Can not wait for the second movie installment.

Once you get over how much older the actors are than the teenage roles from the book it is a pretty good movie. Knowing how the books end, interested to see how they deal with the characters in next movie

Really liked the cinematography & the premise of the movie. Actors were great & kept my interest through the whole movie. Can't wait for the next. Definitely glad I bought it.
