Fantastic movie for my collection. One of my all-time favorites

Loved the movie more than the book. This was one of the best movies I have seen and cannot wait for the next installment. Loved the characters.

I heard a lot of mix reviews on this movie so I decided to view for myself and I enjoyed the movie. The movie will have you cheering for protagonist!

An intelligent movie with lots of insight into human nature. Some great action sequences as well as a good, story line. We really enjoyed it and would easily watch it again.

The first in a series of 4 movies. It is Sci-Fi mixed in a Romance story; but it also has plenty of action and suspense. It leaves me waiting for the next 3 of the series.

Dividing people into different classes of society and oppressing them might remind some governments what can happen if they engage in similar practices. Overall I enjoyed it.

Saw this movie while on Hawaii on vacation. My friend thought it was ok, but I loved it and couldn't wait to buy on blu-Ray once it was released.

I read the trilogy and enjoyed the writing by the author so I decided to check out the movie and loved it. Having on blu-ray makes it even better.

I never read the book, but would have expected the movie to be a little more action packed. The premise of the movie was good, but I just don't think the movie plot fulfilled what it should have achieved. There were parts that dragged and the action screens were less than dramatic. The actors performed well in their roles, so I give the cast a 5 star rating, but can only give the movie, as a whole, barely a 3 star rating. Overall, it was a decent movie, but not something that I would watch a number of times.

With so many movies out now focused on a post apocalyptic future, it may be hard to choose one to watch. This one would probably be a good choice.

The movie has a lot of story lines going on. The story about family and still choosing your own path. The movie is well done and acting is great.

There is a movie craze of young kids surviving in the wild or on their own and this doesn't disappoint. The steelbook is neat to have in a Blu Ray collection.
