A great story set in a distopian future. Takes a look at many psychological issues that exist in the modern day, but is able to heighten them with the future setting by allowing for greater freedom for the storytellers to create a different societal structure. Beautifully shot and edited.

The movie held true to the book series, but it kinda felt flat whereas the book was much more intense. Shaleine Woodley does an OK job portraying Tris but I didn't find myself rooting for her. Theo James really stole the spotlight in his breakout role playing the brooding hero, Four.

While the book version has received rave reviews, I think more could have been developed in this storyline. In an attempt to keep up with the successes of The Hunger Games Series, this movie would be like the appetizer to the main course. Good, but you are still hungry for more.

Nice steelbook to have for collectors. The movie was fun to watch, but it seems like the end was kind of like iRobot a little. A whole group being controlled to do harm, then the last second someone saves the day. But as I said, I did enjoy it though.

The main reason we purchased this movie is because my daugther loved the book series so we thought we would give the movie a shot. After the family watched it we all thought that it was a very decent movie and my teenagers loved it. So if you have some teens then I highly recommend it.

I waited what seems like FOREVER for this movie to come out and I was not disappointed. They left out a lot of details from the book, but I expected that. For the most part, it is accurate. It captured my attention and I cant wait for the second one.

Nice adaptation of the book written by Veronica Roth. Strong lead male and female performances with excellent plot that kept my attention throughout. My daughter struggled with the lead female portrayal and the minor changes in plot from the book.

Hadn't read the books so was apprehensive about watching the movie till my daughter recommended it. It was everything I would want in an adventure movie. Good role model of young women filled with emotions and obstacles to overcome.

If you get this movie, get it at Best Buy! They have a Special Metal Box. This movie has zoo much action, comedy, fun and fast paced story. There is not one boring part. Best movie of 2013!

This movie was so interesting from the minute it starred. It was not something I expected when my sister told me she saw it and loved it too. Without giving anything away, just buy it. It is definitely one DVD that should be in your collection.

The movie was very entertaining. I loved the story line and acting as well. The Blu-ray and digital copy were first rate as always. I would definitely recommend this movie and most especially in the Blu-ray format. First rate all around!!!!

The movie is great for what its worth. People may feel this is a Twilight, Hunger Games, etc. rip off but what isnt? Did the movie accomplished its goal as an entertaining moving film? Yes but some will have their own opinion. I've enjoyed it and look forward to the trilogy.

I was really reluctant to see this movie- thought it would be too much like the other YA novels turned movie. I was wrong. This movie holds its own, with a great cast and a great plot. Great price too, fast shipping. Thank you Best Buy!

Got this Blu-Ray + DVD version of Divergent on sale for less than $10. It is a very good action story set in the distant future. If you are a fan of Shailene Woodley, Kate Winslet, and Ashley Judd, as I am, you certainly will enjoy this movie and watch it more than once.

I wasn't a big fan of these type of movies. But Divergent was awesome. Shailene Woodley was great. Post-apocalyptic world with it's people divided into factions was a great idea. Add the action and suspense made it even better.

I loved the book Divergent, and the movie was pretty great as well. The special effects were nice, and I thought the characters were well played. The price for the blu-ray on black Friday wasn't bad either! I would definitely recommend!

I read all the books in this series and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I enjoyed this movie because it was very similar to the book and only minor things were changed. It's very hard to find a movie from a book that does that!

It's a good movie, with solid performances. It will keep you interested. I had read the books prior, which is likely why I didn't give 5 stars, as the books contain much more detail that is hard to fully capture. Overall enjoyable. Will watch again

This movie is great. I liked the aspect of the Utopian Dystopia where something sinister lies beneath the surface of the supposedly perfect society. I won't reveal any more than that. Buy this movie. It is worth the money.
