The film follows the idea of youth put in a different type of government takeover. If you like The Hunger Games, the Maze Runner, The Giver, or the book series The Uglies, than you will like this film.

Love the movie!! Great for all ages. The steel book version cheaper than in walmart and better design. Movie itself explains the groups in the beginning so it's not confusing.

My significant other got me into these movies I liked it so much I had to purchase it, I can't wait for the third to come out so I can also pick it up from Best Buy

Makes you think about the different society they live in , the freedom of choosing who you want to be part of , struggle, and fear of the superior people aka divergent

I loved this movie. Its been a long time since I bought a dvd. If you liked Hunger Games, Harry Potter and all other movies that tap into your imagination, you'll love this!

The characters fit their parts. You quickly fall in love with the main characters and are pulling for Triss and Four to survive being divergent in their controlling society.

There is nothing too novel or unheard of from a movie like this, but it is an enjoyable teen action flick, so if that is your cup of tea, then you should enjoy. Plus who doesn't love awesome steelbooks!

At first I thought it wasn't worth it but I started reading reviews on it and watched trailers and went for it. Pretty good and bought all of the other ones from the series in 4K.

This movie was really good. I enjoy as much as hunger games. I have all 3 books and ready for the second divergent movie. These movie really makes you think about the future

I thought I wasn't going to like the Movie but once I started watching I got so into it .The plot of the movie was great and it drive you in to see what going to occur next.

I love the BB steel cases editions. I enjoyed the movie although the special effects and set could have been closer to the book. I bought into the story line and enjoyed almost 3 hour of entertainment.

The movie is not shot or mastered in 4K. What you are getting is an upscale. The addition of HDR is a nice feature though. This series also happens to be a favorite of my wife and I's.

I had a fear that this movie was just a Hunger Games wannabe. It's not as good as The Hunger Games films but it stands quite well on its own thanks to a winning cast.

I really loved this movie when it came out in theaters. Saw it on sale at my local best buy and had to get it. Really good movie! I am now looking forward to the sequels.

The roles which are possessed by each of the different factions is interesting because we as a society deal in the same way. So it was something different to see then split into their specific roles.

This movie is a great beginning to the series written by Veronica Roth that follows Tris, a girl that does not conform to society. I'm reading the series to find out more.

My kids wanted to see it and dragged me to it. Being middle aged I was impressed with the plot and acting. Now I have seen all the movies and have been impressed with the series.
