Not as good as the book, but still pretty good!!!!

Nowhere NEAR as good as the books were. If u have not read the books you will love it. I watched it,thought it was awesome, then read the books, then watched it again and was a little disappointed.... But nothing ever is as good as the books so...

This unfortunately felt like a film better enjoyed by pre-teens. It didn't carry over well for an adult film goer. The visuals are good, but the script and story are lacking. It wants to be as powerful as "The Hunger Games" but misses the mark.

This was a slow start to the Divergent franchise, but let's face it, everything franchise has to start somewhere so they can get to the main story. Divergent did a good job of setting the characters so they can carry on in Insurgent.

If you are a sci-fi movie goer, you'll likely enjoy this movie. However, the movie isn't overly exciting and the acting is suspect. I certainly would recommend watching the movie, but I am not sure it's worth adding to you DVD library.

They made it seem like it would have a lot of action but didn't guess it for ppl who read and liked the book its like harry potter boring in movie but ppl who liked the movie waa kids and every1 mostly that read and loved the books

When I first saw the trailer it looked like a remake of the Hunger Games, and it turned out to be somewhat similar but yet different. Sure enough it is entertaining and something nice to watch if you're just looking for something.

I had hoped for an edgier and deeper film but all in all Divergent has enough substance to make for a fairly entertaining opening to the film series. Hopefully the second installment will take things to a higher level.

I never read the books, I knew little about this story. I went to see it in the theaters and thought it was ok. I felt it wasn't a bad movie to add to my vast collection. Might watch it 1-2 times a year at most

Another futuristic dystopia that manages to keep you entertained until the end. It's a decent popcorn movie that I think could have been fleshed out more if it was a little longer. Great Blu ray quality.

Movies are getting pretty challenging for my family to agree on as we have a range of ages and interests, this one was chosen as a compromise to all. It was good but I probably won't watch it again.

I could not really get into this movie, didn't have enough going on for me, if you like fantasy movies with mild action, and kids trying to figure out who they are then this movie is for you.

Bought the movie for my wife, it was a little bit more intense but the plot and format seems to be like Hunger Games...I liked that it came in a "steel" case...another item added to my library!!

This movie was another dystopian movie but it has a interesting plot and decent effects but it is a movie more for teenage girls. However, I would say it is a movie you should see at least once.

I enjoyed the movie. It doesn't have any great and well know actors. But the acting is OK. I liked the premise. If you are a fan of The Hunger Games, then you will probably like this movie too.

I have attempted to watch this movie but keep having to watch it in parts and cant' seem to keep the story line. Need to watch it straight through first to properly review. Looks OK though.

Divergent is slow at times but has great sets, costumes and special effects. There appears to be a good chemistry between the leads that helps overcome some of the slow (boring) parts.

Overall the movie kept true to the book. Once again a movie that has so much content from the book that it is hard to fit into the movie. If you like the book the movie is worth a look

I love Steelbooks! I was very excited it was in steelbook. USA needs more steelbooks. good movie - i read the book first and still enjoyed the movie. it follows the book pretty closely

Divergent was an average movie. I thought it was a little slow at times. I wanted to push it along. Then when they finally start to scratch the surface of getting good, it ends.
