Looks good in trailer but kind of slow. Should of waited for it to be on cable.

Tries hard to capture the flame of Hunger Games but doesn't match up.

The Blu Ray disc was a pain it kept getting stuck and just would not play. So, I played the the regular disc and there were colored streaks throughout the movie. Needless to say it was an unpleasant experience.

Watch it.... It speaks for it's self the writing is sub par. Just watch the first 30 mins and listen to the dialogue

This movie was a knockoff of The Hunger Games. They could have spared us from this tragic movie.

Divergent is an epic YA dystopia. That uses a standard idea of post apocalyptic but, IS so much more with a unique spin. If you love Hunger Games this is for you. This is part one of four and I would encourage anyone get interested; as the next parts will blow your mind.

I waited a long time to purchase this movie. I had people tell me it was very similar to the Hunger Games, which I didn't like at all. It just didn't keep my interest. Sorry fans. I wanted to see it on T.V. first. Once I watched it I thought it was actually really good. Shailene Woodley is a very talented actress. And of course, Theo James is great to watch (wink.) The storyline was well done. I think this was a good price. I even had a $5 manufacturer coupon so it lowered the price even further!

I absolutely love Divergent. I think they did a good job of getting the movie close to the book. I love movie/book series. I cannot wait for the next one to be released. I was very happy to receive my movie today in the mail! I cannot wait to watch it over & over again.

Great movie! Good movie for a family evening at home. Great price for Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy too! I pre-ordered it, and I received it on a release date, which was a pleasant surprise! I really love that Best Buy has started offering blu-rays in a steelbook, as I usually have to buy them internationally. Although, be aware that there is a good possibility that it will come damaged due to BB's poor packaging of steelbooks. :/

Teens in an oppressive society / future has become a common movie theme over the past 10 years Twilight Series, Hunger Games, Maze Runner, Divergent Series to name a few - but not since the cult TV hit Buffy the Vampire Slayer have we seen this theme presented so well. This series leans more toward Sci -Fi VS horror and is probably why I like it more than some of the others. You go kids!

Four movies will be part of this series and the 1st movie at 2 hours 20 minutes leads the way in spectacular fashion. The movie is full of action, w/o a single minute to make you watch the clock, with many surprises and if you did not see it get the steelbooks to enjoy the first 2 of the 4 movies in elite steelbooks Editions. 4 stars because 5 stars belong to masterpieces only.

One of my favorite movies! Great story line and fun to watch! A great way to get escape into a future world where communities are grouped based on their "skills" and/or "behaviors". Has enough action to keep you watching and enough drama to attract all viewers. Enjoy!

oh my I am in love with the actor they chose to play Four. The first two books are great and now watching the movie wow. It's different then the book but it was good. Can't wait for insurgent. Hope they grange the story I the alligent movie that book was horrible. They did great with divergent.
