I've read all 3 of these books & the Four book. Movies made from books can tend to be a little disappointing when you've read them before watching, but this movie was great. Of course there were some changes, but the movie was still just as awesome as the book was. Can't wait for the next one.

This movie is awesome. I saw it twice in theaters and already multiple times since I received it. I can't wait until the next one comes out. It's a great book series and I am very happy it made it's way onto film. The steelbook packaging is also a great collector's item and very nice to the eye.

After finishing the book series first and then watching the movie, I think I have fallen in love! The book and the movie have their differences but I believe the movie does the book justice. Definitely a must watch for anybody who has read the book or just wants to see a good movie.

In a world divided by factions based on virtues, Tris learns she's Divergent and won't fit in. When she discovers a plot to destroy Divergents, Tris and the mysterious Four must find out what makes Divergents dangerous before it's too late.

I very seldom like the movie version of books but this one exceeded my expectations immensely! It doesn't run far off the script like most other movies do. I always recommend to friends when they are looking for a good book movie!

First in the series and the one I had missed when it came out. Glad that I bought it even though all three movies can be "stand-alone" movies. Seeing this one gives more background to number 2, Insurgent and number 3 Allegiant. Very enjoyable.

I like this movie a lot! I think it is a better look into a dystopian future with a fantasy twist to it. Plus I like Shailene Woodley and think she is up and coming and we'll see more of her in the future

Like 'Hunger Games' I did not read any of the books to know what was going to happen, or should have happened based on discrepancies between the two but I enjoyed the plot, characters, and storyline and look forward to seeing Insurgent.

This is a great movie with a little bit of everything; adventure, romance, action, drama. Can't wait for the remainder of the series to be released!

I love all the Divergent series and when i seen they had it in steelbook packaging i was like yesss i need it!! I love omg its so good for collectors. I love it. Buy it if you can.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this movie. I had not read the books or know anything about it but the movie was well done. Looking forward to the next installments.

Excellent charcters. Original storyline. Actors were good.

Although it was a good movie, I had issues with the steelbook. Currently on my third attemp at recieving a non broken copy of it. Since I collect steelbooks, I figured it would make a nice addition to the collection. First two times it arrived with no visual damage, but inside the disc is sliding around and the plastic casing is broken in several pieces. Hopefully this isn't common and is the only reason i gave it three stars instead of five. Be weary about ordering the steelbook version. If the next one arives broken as well I will be taking my business elsewere for steelbooks.

A great movie for teens and above. I would think the idea of killing others just to win a game would be confusing for children to really understand. The graphic are great.

This was a pretty good movie for the first installment to the trilogy. It stayed with the book pretty well and I loved all the action. Can't wait for the second one!!!

I really liked the way they approached the possiblity of a society with cut and dry social groups, knowing that all people have some individual divert characteristic within themselves.

My mom loves these types of movies. After searching pricing at many places, Best Buy had the lowest price so I bought it for my mom. And she loved it.

I usually read the book before the movie based comes, but I didn't this time. I was quite surprised I liked since it seem to have the same kind of feel like Hunger Games.

Divergent has that young adult feel of it's predecessors The Hunger Games and Twilight. It's a good story and keeps you interested throughout the viewing.

I did not see this movie in the theaters so I was very excited to purchase this movie when it was released. I enjoyed watching it very much
