This is not a John Wayne re-boot. Don't get up or you'll miss someone getting it, but that's OK because as soon as you're back someone else is going to get shot. Might be Tarantino's best work yet. Leonardo DiCaprio as a very bad man and Samuel Jackson as a very mean man. A girl, guns, guys getting shot, and horses. What more could you want? Unless you're afraid of a little blood........

Tarantino's humor is unmatched, he shatters expected outcomes of situations, and never loses the audience. The film offers a humorous insight into a sensitive area; somewhat educating the viewers, but keeping is slightly funny to hold attention and maintain is classic genra. I seen the movie in theater twice and decided to add it to my collection of repeat watch list. Get it!

Quentin Terintino did it again. As Django was was constantly giving the excitement you would expect from QT! The free ticket for The Hateful 8 was a bonus. This movie was awesome! The first two thirds of the movie I was continuously trying to figure out how it would end but the twists and turns kept me re-thinking. Great dialogue and ending.

It really was not my kind of western but if you like the old Spaghetti Westerns then this was one of the best ever made and you will want it

Quentin Tarantino is one of my favorite directors. This movie goes beyond the hype I had for it. Quick fast, brutal violence in this film is awesome and takes you off guard. The acting is fantastic, especially from Christoph Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio. Of course the dialogue is amazing and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Overall a Fantastic film.

It was a random buy that turned out to be a good one. Decent story line with it's surprises and well casted characters that stood out.

DJANGO UNCHAINED is the tale of a former slave and a bounty hunter teaming up to track down some "bad" guys and to find and rescue Django's wife from a brutal plantation owner (Leonardo Dicaprio). Once again, Quentin Tarantino displays his mastery as a film-maker with well written scenes, catchy dialogue, and a nice dose of bloody action. There is a very bloody sequence during the final quarter of the movie that is a visual treat to watch and it must have taken a long time to shoot. This is recommended viewing!

This movie is hilarious. I should not have waited to purchase it. In fact, the sales staff went out of their way to find me the specific type of disc; Blue-ray, DVD, Digital & Ultraviolet combination copy. Than you for taking the time and effort to find it.

I really liked this movie in the theatre. It doesn't come on tv very often and I had been wanting to see it again. I could not find it on best buys website. I decided to go into the store anyways. The staff was very helpful. They helped me find the movie and even gave me some options. My overall experience was great!!

Tarantino films are either awesome or just bland, though they never suck. Django Unchained is definitely in the awesome category. Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz are brilliant in their roles and Samuel L Jackson never disappoints. Bloody, funny, thrilling, all words that come to mind.

Quentin Tarantino definitely knew what he was doing when he created this movie it is a true homage to the Spaghetti Western and also seemingly very historically accurate with what details of history they do talk about and their depictions of human behavior during those periods. The speech that they use throughout the movie while historically accurate I'm sure will be just distasteful to many just so you know before viewing so as not to be caught off guard.

I had Django previously on regular blu ray but it became damaged. I decided to upgrade to a Steelbook and it is magnificent. The gloss on the case makes it shine and looks a lot better than a regular blu ray and it didn’t cost much either.

One of Tarantino’s best films, as I thoroughly enjoyed this production. The action, the story, and so much of the movie is very well done. The steelbook looks great and if you’re a fan of the film, definitely pick this up.

I hadn't seen this movie until this past month, but I'm glad I did. Right after I saw parts of it at a friend's house, I went and bought it the next day. Top actors from beginning to end, even in some of the small roles. Peculiar characters. Not for the feint of heart. Blood. Guts. Violence. Foul language. 5 stars.

Simply a spectacular western in the tradition of Sam Peckinpah...tasteful violence if that is even possible. Story line that is so intricate it will hold your attention without you even realizing it. Superb acting, excellent directing and a well-told tale make this movie a "must see"!

As a huge fan of spaghetti westerns, from the campy b- flicks to the epic classics, I was highly anticipating this film. It did not disappoint. Django Unchained is an excellent revenge thriller set in the old south. It may be a bit over-the-top and sensationalized, but that's just another hallmark of the genre.

Quentin Tarantino once again delivers on this Great offbeat Western the characters and plot twist will keep you guessing but well worth watching pick it up today for you and those adult only popcorn night you'll be glad you did

I did not know what to think when I first watched this movie but it is so funny and has an amazing ending. Note*** some scenes are really bad and show some really bad images.... take caution when watching with younger children. May not want to watch the scene with the slave in the tree and the dogs....

We do not go out to movies,but we do enjoy watching movies at home. We just purchase our first Led HD 46" TV and decided to buy new movies we had not seen before took movies home then found out we could not watch movie it was worth all the trouble we really enjoyed this movie will be watching again and again!

Despite his lukewarm reputation throughout the industry, I've always been a fan of Quentin Tarantino's work. And this movie isn't any different! I won't give away any of the plot lines, but if you like anything from the Tarantino library, as well as Jamie Foxx's versatility, stop reading this now and pick this up!
