    I for once ingnored the reviews of this thing overheating and gave it a shot. NO WAY THIS MADE IT THROUGH THE FACTORY R&D and TESTING before making it to the market. In 1080P recording, i only got 10 mins of recording and the overheating message appeared. Returning this item.

Therefore, when recording a high bitrate video for a long time, the camera unit emits much heat. If the device prompts “Device overheated. Unable to record.”, we recommend that you go through the steps below to extend your shooting duration. 1. Lower the video resolution or frame rate. 2. To record a high bitrate video for a long time, we recommend that you attach the camera unit to the front touchscreen module or power module.

    Supposed to be waterproof but after a few shallow water dives, it refuses to charge. Now collecting dust after 5 uses. Junk

      Sorry for the inconvenience. The DJI Action 2 camera unit is waterproof at depths of up to 10 m and can be put in a waterproof case to reach as deep as 60 m. The camera unit is not considered waterproof when used with the front touchscreen module or power module. It is recommended to attach the waterproof case.     Garbage. App is horrible tried on both iPhone and Android. Definitely not ready for release seems like they pushed it out like I do many of their products

    Camera has no user replaceable lens. This is an action camera and should be built for the abuse action cameras experience. Big “No” for me. Returned

    Having owned a DJI drone, trying out their action camera felt like a no brainer. This camera is actually pretty good for the price albeit just being a shy more expensive than its closest competitor. The quality is really good for being a 4K camera but as stated earlier, its competitor is ahead of this camera. Since this is also a very new camera, there are not a lot of accessories for it. The magnetic mount does help it be more versatile in terms of mounts, so 3rd Party mounts should eventually be made. The size is very small like a Session but adding the screen easily makes it larger. Dedicated SD card slot is also there but you'll have to plug in the second screen. You need the second screen as well to get the USB slot. This action camera does double as a webcam as well. Overall, it's quite versatile but it is a bit more expensive.
