I've had several DJI drones over the years and I can safely say this is the pinnacle of their engineering. Why? The old saying for cameras is "the best camera is the one in your bag". There's a lot that goes into that statement. I've always lived by it as meaning "get the camera you WANT to use." This is the drone I want to use. PORTABILITY. A big, unwieldy drone (or camera) that weighs 10lbs, takes 30 minutes to setup and 6 hours to charge all the batteries is never going to get as much use as one that basically fits anywhere and takes maybe 30 seconds to unfold, plug in the remote and fly. The basic design of the 2AS is mostly unchanged from the original Mavic Pro; and for good reason. It's basically perfect. They did make the gimbal cover easier to close, which i very much appreciate. EASE OF USE. There's no question that the Inspire is a "superior" platform, and that the Phantom 4 has better handling, but again, you need a lot more space and setup time, let alone needing a second operator in the case of the Inspire. This thing is braindead simple to operate, but the app still allows for plenty of fine-tuning for a pro. QUALITY. Taking into account the above, there's always a tradeoff, yet the one here is really easy to justify. I bought the Mavic 2 Air because the Mavic Pro I had previously got infinitely more use than my other drones due to its portability and ease of use, though I was somewhat disappointed by the small sensor and lack of D-LOG. With a 1" CMOS sensor that shoots 4k @ 150mbps, the 2AS fixes that completely, which in turn means it fixes literally the only problem I had with the amazing Mavic Air 2. It truly is the perfect drone. Yes, I am a little upset at DJI for releasing it so soon after the Air 2 with little to no warning, and I'm sure I'll eat a loss as Air 2's flood eBay in the coming days... but I cannot overstate how unbelievably perfect this drone is for anyone looking to leap into pro-level drone cinematography, or whoever just wants a fun, easy flying drone that does not compromise on image.

I’m new to flying drones. I tell you I love this thing. I started out with the mini 2 and took it back to upgrade because DJI is excellent with their products. It’s a breeze flying it and the pictures are A1. You can’t go wrong with this drone and the find home it’ll land right where it took off.

I LOVE this drone. It folds into a very small package. Getting it setup and flying was a breeze and the package come with all you need. The ND filters are great for increasing shutter speed for hyperlapses. The images are very very good and work well with Lightroom. The sensor produces RAW images with great color and range. I am super satisfied.

Needed a steady and stable door indoors when operating without GPS. Perfect for that.

This is not my first DJI drone and this one is excellent. It is easy to fly and the video and photos are phenomenal. I highly recommend this combo and Best Buy was great. I originally tried to buy this on Amazon and they sent me a used drone. Always buy locally. They treat you better and are more honest.

This is hands down the best value to performance drone available. While the new flagship Mavic 3 has several enhancements/features it is also over double the cost. This drone gets you 5k/30 or 4k/60 (plus many lower resolutions/framerates) with a one inch sensor, but in a very affordable and compact package.

If you're a first time pilot (me) the ease of learning to fly and all the necessities make this a good buy. One thing they could have included would be a memory card, that would have rounded out the package. The number of batteries and gang charging dock are a big plus. Overall this drone combo is a good value.

Very impressive out the box. Quiet, yet sturdy. Small package with big imagery. Great for first timer or all timers. Does have its manual photo shortcomings for pros, however thus far the ease of use, success with autonomous modes and resulting imagery has been fantastic. The fly more combo is the way to go in my opinion.
