Great drone. It works well and as intended so far. Lightweight and compact size, both impressive. The folding wings are brilliant. Easy to use and much improved phone/controller hardware interface. Much better than my first drone which was the same manufacturer, a DJ4 Pro maybe (name..!!??). This new gen is much improved. Recommended if you need a mobile and compact drone for pro, semi-pro or hobby aerial photos, etc.

For the price to performance ratio, one of the best drones you can get. The 1" sensor is amazing. It also has great internal processing. The unit gets hot to the touch, between the battery discharging and 5.4k video processing, it's no big surprise. The default video settings are amazing. The colors are vibrant out of the box, and no need to do anything in post. However, if you have a computer capable of editing raw 4k video, shoot in "DLOG." Do yourself a favor and look up "4K HDR LUTS" which you can use in Premiere or Final Cut. These are how you get the cinematic effects, and why it's important to shoot in DLOG. One gripe I had is the batteries. One of them was DOA, and due to Best Buy policy, there is a restocking fee, so I had to go through DJI. They were quick at getting a shipping label, but I wish I could put a card on file with them and have it express shipped. Instead, I had to spend another $120 for another battery while I wait for the other one due to time constraints on a project. The range is purely a hypothetical number, I am lucky to get a mile in the city, but I've seen testing in deserts at night that can get to the projected range, so that is understandable. It is overall an excellent unit, especially when compared to my Phantom 3 SE. Longer fly time, better range, better capture, and with obstacle avoidance, all while fitting in a small satchel rather than a massive briefcase. I would rate it 4.5/5 due to the battery DOA process taking 2 weeks, but I am otherwise very happy with this unit.

I was toying with the idea of buying a DJI drone, after a gap of a number of years dabbling with my own home made drone, and also a Blade drone/go pro camera setup. The 4K camera on the DJI Air 2S is superb. There'll be a bit of a learning curve for me to figure out all the video modes. Even though the drone wobbled in the gusts on its 1st test flight, the video was rock steady due to the excellent gimbal stabilization. The extra batteries and blades make it a good value.

So far the Air2s has been really fun to fly. The fly more kit comes with 3 batteries, 3 sets of props and lots of other things to get you flying in no time. The Air2s has a lot of cool photo/video functions and shoots impressive photos and videos. It has autonomous flight for different scenarios you can use. With about 30 minutes of flight time. All in all it’s a great drone. The only bad part is the price. But still worth it.

A caveman could fly this thing. I purchased and built a DJI F550 years ago due to a certain company telling me if I wanted to get into UAS’s it was a good idea to build one from the ground up and learn that way. What a waste of money that was. This thing is way easier and more reliable right out of the box. If you have the money and want to get into flying drones for video/photography purposes. This is where you start.
