First drone I’ve ever owned! The video quality is unmatched and the simplicity of flying couldn’t be any easier!

This drone completely follows DJI's tradition of having high quality drones for content creators and filmmakers. The 1-inch sensor is not Hasselblad like in the Mavic Pro drones, but it more than delivers. It looks amazing and the different ND filters just helps out a lot depending on what you will be shooting. If you're planning to use this drone for tracking versus manual flying, this is not the drone you are looking for. It is decent at best when there are no obstructions but when there are obstructions, the drone is having a hard time because it does not have side sensors to detect objects next to it. It does have sensors top and bottom, forwards and backwards. There is nothing side to side. The DJI Fly app is actually not bad at all but the main issue I have with it is that you will NEED a NEW phone if you do not have a phone that is supported by the app. It can't just be within the minimum Android spec or for iOS version. It has to be one of the phones supported by their app. Before you purchase this drone, make sure you check on that.

Needed a new drone for my photography and dji has a great product.

This is my first drone and so far it is everything I expected. I have taught myself how to fly it using online videos (of which there are plenty for this specific aircraft). There is a learning curve and you need to start slow but you will be rewarded for your patience. I have had no crashes and I am amazed how accurately it returns to home. I have made an X on a piece of plywood out of silver tape for landing and it generally lands on the X even after a long flight. You will be amazed how your property looks from a couple of hundred feet in the air. I ordered online from Best Buy and delivery was quick and the packaging was excellent. It was very obvious this was a new product in an un-opened package.

DJI is like Apple. Ratcheting out the features to squeeze the buyers. This drone is no exception. Rock solid,.. but like iPad 1 with no camera, the obvious features aren't there. It is a great drone in many respects, BUT,...ND filters? Only 32x? What about an adjustable aperture? Nevermind that the greater density filters are out of stock at DJI... This makes adjusting the camera for the right lighting nearly impossible. Sure, if you are on the ground taking stills. But in the air with changing lighting? Like you might get in the "golden hour?" Don't plan on substantial flights involving dynamic lighting with the scenery. Uh uh. Of course, DJI has also held back on the SDK. So, setting up flight plans on the ground? Uh uh. Nope. Sure, you can fly it (I guess) and program a Hyperlapse (haven't tried),.... but, isn't easier to do this on a PC, then set it free to run the course? Sure.... you can do all that if you buy a better drone. Spend 3K. It may be better to look at competitive manufacturers. I may do that, or simply wait for a better drone.

I had the drone in my cart for the sale price. When i went to check out they reverted it to full price. Extremely shady attempt by Best Buy to charge me more for the drone.
