Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the Air 2S Fly More Combo Drone's camera quality and ease of use, frequently praising its impressive features and capabilities. Many also appreciate its compact size and good battery life, although some wish for longer flight times and additional sensors. A few users noted the drone's high price point as a drawback, and some experienced challenges with wind resistance. Overall, the positive feedback on image quality and user-friendliness outweighs the concerns.

Love it so far! Great quality video and super easy to use. Would recommend the "fly more" package as it supplies extra batteries and propellers. Its a nice confort to have those extras because the propellers feel cheap, though they seem to hold up well and the battery life isnt great but i feel its pretty similar among most drones

Pretty incredible setup, all around. Everything you need to get up and running (except having to upgrade the included firmware), is in the box. In fact, for a flying session, everything fits into the carry bag. I also have an older DJI drone, a Phantom 4. The technology fitted into the Air 2S far surpasses the earlier model, in a much smaller package. Once the box was opened, all I did was charge the batteries, you can charge all three at one time, and upgrade the firmware (of course). Notice I harp at the need to upgrade firmware, which seems to be constant with DJI products. In the month that I have had my Air 2S, I've upgraded firmware twice. My point here (to many software developers out there), is to get your s__t together before you release your product!! Hugely aggravating.... However (rant over), the Air 2S is a blast to fly and photograph with. My first few flights were in my tree studded front yard. With object sensors on front, rear, below and now above, with back-up infrared sensors below, the Air 2S has amazing avoidance capabilities. Photos are clear (drone stabilized) and there is even a movie mode that captures a video with automated location changes. It is top quality stuff with enough in the bag to have a fun day of flying.

I have wanted a DJI drone for some time and finally bought the Mavic Air2 s and have been thrilled with it is easy to fly and there is tons of tutorials for you to learn all the different aspects of this drone. I love the pictures I can take with us and how easy it is to work with it. I would recommend the Strand to anybody from beginner to Mour advanced users as a superb drone for any body.

This is my third drone now. I've had the DJI Mini 2 and the DJI Mavic Air 2 drones before this one. I still have the Mini 2 for "sport" flying and zipping around. The Air 2S is the more serious drone that I have. After I wrecked my Mavic Air 2 (bad piloting), I bought the Air 2S. You buy this drone for the camera...it is clearly better than the one on the Mini 2 and slightly better than the one on the Mavic Air 2. The Fly More combo is well worth the money. I wouldn't buy a drone without this kind of a package being included. I am not a camera expert, but I find that the 4K 60 frames per second video settings gives the smoothest, sharpest video for me. I don't do a whole lot of post processing because the videos I get are quite nice and need little work after I shoot them. The range on the controller is great if the terrain that you are in is flat. Beware of hilly areas where you may lose signal if you lose sight of the drone. The app is great and DJI is constantly updating it. In real world performance, I find that each battery gives me between 22 and 25 minutes of flight. To be honest, 25 minutes is a long time to keep your fingers on the controller sticks without a little bit of cramping up. The biggest downside? The batteries have a safety mechanism that causes them to discharge slowly if they aren't used. If you want to have "full" batteries for a flight, you need to charge them within 24 hours of taking off. If you don't, they will drain down to 95% or so after one day and about 60% after a couple of days. I'm glad I bought this drone and I plan to use it several times a week just because it is so fun to fly. Make sure that you live in an area that allows drone flight before you buy it. Otherwise, you'll have to travel somewhere outside of your local neighborhood. ---Tom---

    The Best Mid-Level Drone Available

It's the best mid-level camera drone available! I've done a lot of research before buying it. DJI is the leader in drone manufacturing. DJI has the best software and the best features. I can fly this drone several miles away. If my controller loses connection with the drone, I won't lose my drone. It logs GPS coordinates from satellites before taking off. If I lose connection, the drone will Return to Home with the help of satellites and GPS coordinates. There are too many features to list! It's not a cheap toy, and it's not an expensive commercial drone. I really enjoy flying, and it records 5.4k video!!! The only thing I don't like is, it's a static aperture. You cannot adjust aperture settings. You can however adjust all other camera settings. And it comes with ND filters if you want less light than what the aperture allows. I love it!!!

I've own or opened more than several DJI drones. This is by far the best one yet. I like how you can now see air craft near or around you, I do not however like that you can now be tracked. Distance is great, but, when far away you can still lose signal if an object comes between you. Picture quality is great, obstacle avoidance is better but I still couldn't trust letting it fly alone or when following me, came close or even hit a few tree leaves more than a few times. Would be nice if they added a mic so it could record voice. Still looking for a drone that does that, out of the box. It's is the best drone for the price yet tho in my opinion. One thing that surprised me is I had a scare once flying when it was to be fair very strong winds. I had a hard time flying it back, couldn't get better than 2mph going against the wind. It does have it's limits. If it had been a DJI Mini, it would've got taken away.

This is the best consumer grade photography drone you can buy. The camera is amazing. The drone does all the things you expect it: object track, quick photo tricks, master shots for more complicated automated maneuvers. It’s easy to fly and and has a bunch of safety features to prevent crashing. Once you get comfortable flying you will be taking movie like shots of the world in no time. Action sports fans, this doesn’t have side sensors so be careful running active track in parallel mode, otherwise it’s perfect. You will have to register it with the FAA, you do not need the 107 license unless you plan to use your footage commercially (monetized YouTube videos count as commercially). The DJI fly app is sometimes incorrect concerning FAA zones so use B4UFLY or Kittenhawk to confirm and authorize.

I drowned my old drone shooting fishing guide tours for an outdoor fishing company. I had a chance to work on another DJI for another project and decided to make the switch. PROS: good battery life, super responsive with no noticeable lag, Video quality is great, ND filters add quality, Fast top speeds, and amazing range. CONS: you need a phone to operate, Use download QR in the instruction manual as the one necessary does not show up in a search on the app store, take off and shutdown are on the app and not a physical button on the controller.

The DJI drone I've been waiting for

I had my eye on DJI drones for a couple of years. The Mavic 2 Pro was very temping when it came out, but still too pricey for me. As soon I saw the Air 2S arrive, I knew this was the one for me. 1 inch camera sensor, small portable profile, good battery life, 5.4k, and more obstacle avoidance sensors. My only disappointment was the DJI FLY app would not load on my old cellphone. I was planning to dedicate the use of my old Motorola Moto G5 Plus phone for this drone's remote, however it's not compatible with the DJI FLY app. So it's important to check cellphone compatibility before purchasing because you might be stuck purchasing a cellphone also for this drone. Videos are beautiful and this is one quick drone!

Fun to watch and fly. Good pictures 2 miles one way and was still 43% when it returned Easier to fly looking at screen a lot of good videos on app. Can’t figure out boom. Getting to all the hidden buttons on screen hard for oldies. I need grandkids for support It comes home to within 8 inches. I can’t figure out how to watch training video and fly at same time. There’s lots of steps to remember

After some serious research on my part; I chose the DJI Air 2S to be my first ever drone. Happy I did the work because it is perfect for a beginner and an absolute joy to fly! I highly recommend it. Also, the new DJI RC remote works with it now so you won't have to use your cell phone to fly it. A PERFECT match!

Still the king in Aerial imagery for the price

As an aerial camera this thing is a beast. With tripod mode and being able to bracket and exposure step makes for some incredible images. With the gimbal and flights modes the video is buttery smooth and allows up to 30 min flight times depending on your conditions. Its form factor is one of the smallest but still packs a performance powerhouse as compared to the bigger or more expensive options from DJI. The follow settings allow a user to launch and let the drone follow you or your vehicle through some pretty rough obstacles while obstacle avoidance is on. I think it is still a better option to the mavic 3 for the price and form factor.
