This review is for the DJI - Air 3 Fly More Combo Drone with RC-N2 Remote Control.
The DJI air continues DJI’s legacy of producing high-quality drones, boasting significant upgrades that enhance the overall user experience. It’s compact size doesn’t compromise it’s performance or durability, making it perfect for the enthusiasts and professional content creators.
Unboxing you will find there isn’t much to set up. Just slap on the four blades to each marked location, charge the batteries, update some software and you are good to go.
One of the Air 3’s great features is it’s Dual-Cameras, Both cameras are capable of delivering 48MP photos. And 4K/60fps HDR Videos. This is complemented by it’s remarkable stabilization technology, ensuring smooth footage even in challenging conditions. Another great feature is FocusTrack keeps you or your subject that you’re shotting in the center of the frame. Moreover, the drone’s obstacle sensing and advanced flight modes, allow for sophisticated aerial cinematography and photography techniques with minimal effort. Even if this is your first drone.
Battery life has seen a great improvement. Rocking a up to 46 minutes of flight time. Now this will vary on the type of flying you are doing. But with the fly more combo you get 3 battery and a charging dock. And one thing I love about the dock is it supports a power transfer function. This means if all 3 batteries are low, you can transfer remaining power from multiple batteries to the one with the highest remaining power giving you more fly time.
There is a DJI Fly app for your phone to make transferring photos and videos easy. This thing is packed with options and features I haven’t even touched on. Things like photos editing, follow me RTH, and much, much more.
This is my first drone with a remote control that has a built-in screen for viewing. And I’m loving it. All this comes in a high quality caring bag that has room for everything in this package extra blades, all batteries with the dock, the remote control, and the drone itself
In conclusion the DJI Air 3 is super easy to fly and takes great photos and video. Would be good for a novice flyer or a beginner. I have been enjoying this drone and showing it off every chance I get.

One of the standout features is the 4K UHD camera. The footage is incredibly sharp, with vivid colors and excellent dynamic range. The built-in gimbal stabilization ensures smooth, professional-looking footage even in moderate wind conditions. For photographers, the Air 3S captures stunning stills with impressive detail and minimal distortion.
Flight Performance
Flight time is around 30 minutes per charge, which is competitive in this price range. The drone is very responsive, with intuitive controls that make it easy for both beginners and seasoned pilots to maneuver. Its GPS-assisted hover and return-to-home functions are highly reliable, adding peace of mind during flights.
Smart Features
The Air 3S comes with several intelligent flight modes like follow-me, waypoint navigation, and orbit mode. These features allow for creative, hands-free shots. The obstacle detection system works well, ensuring safety even in challenging environments.

DJI never fails to impress me with their drones. The Air 3 is no exception. From the smart features they include on the drone itself, to the well thought out features they add elsewhere, it's hard to go wrong with their products. The Air 3 is probably what would be considered a mid level drone. A step above the Mini, but a little below something like the Mavic Pro. That's not to say it's lacking in quality or features though. From the ease of flying with the confidence of obstacle avoidance, to the options of the dual camera setup, I think any enthusiast would enjoy the Air 3. I think one of the more noticable things during my first couple of flights was the speed at which the Air 3 can ascend or descend. Much faster than I'm used to.
As far as image quality goes, I was impressed with both lenses and the results I was getting were great. There's quite a few options for video as well. You can shoot in a log format, which is great if you'd like to add your own color grade later. You can also shoot 4k at up to 100fps, with is also excellent. I think the images speak from themselves. I think the only thing I sort of wish was possible, was the ability to record from both lenses at once. Though, I imagine this would be very processor intensive and just may not be possible.
The controller is excellent too. Not having to use your phone for the screen is a great bonus. It feels like it's much easier to just get out and shoot, and setup time is less of a hassle. The screen on the controller is great and easy to see outdoors.
The range of the drone also impressed. Of course, range depends on anything obstructing the line of sight to the drone, but even still, I was very impressed with how far away I could push the drone without losing signal.
Software is one of the things I think DJI really shines at too. Their included master shots will help you take some otherwise complex shots without having to pilot the drone yourself. They look great and are very easy to get started with.

The DJI - Air 3 Fly More Combo Drone and RC 2 Remote Control with Built-in Screen – Gray is the perfect drone for beginners, intermediates, and expert flyers. As a novice drone flyer, I needed a drone without so much complication to learn its basic operations of flight. The DJI - Air 3 Fly More Combo Drone and RC 2 Remote Control with Built-in Screen – Gray does that exactly. Straight out of the box with the scanning of the QR code, I received orderly instructions to connect the propellers, pair the drone with the remote control, use the charging hub, and complete drone flying lessons. The hardest part of setting up the DJI - Air 3 Fly More Combo Drone and RC 2 Remote Control with Built-in Screen – Gray was trying to register it on the Federal Aviation Administration’s DroneZone Website. I could not figure out how to answer some of the questions about the technical aspects of the drone. I needed to call DJI customer service and have a representative walk me through the registration process. After registration, it took a few days learning from the flying tutorials how to safely pilot the DJI - Air 3 Fly More Combo Drone and RC 2 Remote Control with Built-in Screen – Gray. Flying can be down with automatic take off and landing until better handling of the drone is learned. Pictures are sharp and clear, with a professional look. The DJI - Air 3 Fly More Combo Drone and RC 2 Remote Control with Built-in Screen – Gray can be used for amateur or professional drone needs, making it a top of the line drone.

DJI is the undisputed drone champion, and the new Air 3 is just further proof of that. It's a fantastic drone that sits between the Mini 4 and Mavic lines in both size and price. It has features that photographers, content creators, and casual users could all appreciate.
I own 3 DJI drones. They all have excellent flight characteristics, and loads of features. For me, the major differentiator comes down to the camera.
The Air 3 has two cameras--a wide-angle and 3x telephoto, at 24mm and 70mm respectively. So, when you can't fly there, the telephoto lens can easily take you there. Yes, you could crop the image from the 24mm lens, but you'll lose data. The telephoto lens retains the data, thus retaining quality. I posted a couple of pictures to illustrate the 3x telephoto lens.
Picture and video quality from the Air 3 is excellent. Colors are vibrant, but not overblown, if you prefer you can shoot RAW. The camera comes in at 48MP, so you can capture lots of detail.
The only complaint I have is minor. Most DJI drones include a strap that keeps the blades in place for storage. The Air 3 does not have this type of strap. I just try to be careful when putting it in the case.
Should you buy the Air 3? That's a tough question. It uses the same camera as a less expensive DJI model, but adds a second camera with a mid tele lens. If you think you would benefit from the 70mm lens, the Air 3 is a great option. I can tell you I've enjoyed the flexibility.

**Unboxing and Initial Impressions:**
The unboxing experience was fantastic. Everything was neatly packed, and the attention to detail was evident. The combo pack includes the DJI 3 drone, multiple batteries, a charger, propellers, and a carrying case, among other accessories. It's clear that DJI designed this pack with convenience and readiness in mind.
**Performance:**
The DJI 3 drone itself is a powerhouse. The camera quality is exceptional, delivering stunning 4K video and crisp photos. The gimbal stabilization ensures smooth footage, even in windy conditions. The flight performance is equally impressive; it's stable, responsive, and has a commendable range. The additional batteries in the combo pack are a game-changer, providing extended flight time without the worry of running out of power mid-session.
**Ease of Use:**
One of the standout features is the user-friendly interface. Setting up the drone was straightforward, and the DJI Fly app is intuitive. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced drone pilot, you'll find the controls easy to master. The pre-programmed flight modes, like Follow Me and Waypoints, add a layer of fun and creativity to the flying experience.
**Accessories:**
The accessories included in the combo pack are high quality and extremely useful. The carrying case is durable and perfectly sized, making transportation hassle-free. Extra propellers and batteries ensure you're always prepared for longer flights and unexpected situations. The charging hub is efficient, allowing for quick turnaround times between flights.

While the DJI 3 One More Combo Pack is an investment, the value it offers is undeniable. The comprehensive nature of the package ensures you have everything you need right out of the box. The peace of mind that comes with having spare parts and extended flight time is worth the extra cost.
**Conclusion:**
Overall, the DJI 3 One More Combo Pack from Best Buy is an excellent choice for anyone looking to step up their drone game. There is a reason why DJI is the leader in consumer drones. They always seem to be a step or two ahead of everyone else. THis drone is a blast to fly. With obstacle avoidance and follow me capabilities, this makes a great drone for beginners. The camera shoots incredibly clear videos and pictures. The RC2 controller is really a standout as well. So much better that controllers that you attach your phone to. It was between this and the Mini 3 Pro. I got the Air 3 because it's better in windy conditions and has omnidirectional obstacle avoidance compared to the Mini 3 Pro's 3 way avoidance. This is a great drone!

I recently purchased the DJI Air 3 drone and have been extremely impressed with its performance and features. This compact and lightweight drone offers an incredible flying experience with its smooth flight controls and advanced technology.
One of the standout features of the DJI Air 3 is its camera capabilities. The 4K Ultra HD camera captures stunningly detailed and crisp footage, making it perfect for aerial photography and videography. The drone also has a 3-axis gimbal that ensures stable and smooth shots, even in windy conditions.
Another impressive aspect of this drone is its long flight time. With a maximum flight time of up to 31 minutes, I was able to capture a wide range of shots without constantly worrying about the battery life. The drone also has a maximum transmission range of up to 10 kilometers, allowing for more flexibility and freedom while flying.
The DJI Air 3 offers intelligent flight modes that make capturing professional-quality shots a breeze. The ActiveTrack mode allows the drone to automatically track and follow subjects, while the Waypoint mode allows you to set a specific flight path for the drone. These features have greatly enhanced my overall drone flying experience.
Additionally, the DJI Air 3 has a compact and foldable design, making it easy to transport and store. The drone also comes with a dedicated remote controller that provides smooth and responsive controls, ensuring precise flight maneuvers.
One minor downside is that the obstacle avoidance sensors are not as advanced as some other DJI drones. However, with proper caution and piloting skills, I haven't encountered any major issues while flying.
Overall, I highly recommend the DJI Air 3 drone to both hobbyists and professionals. Its impressive camera capabilities, long flight time, and intelligent flight modes make it an excellent choice for capturing stunning aerial shots.

The DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo comes with everything a person needs to get started on their drone journey. The Air 3 has a lot of features that make it great for both beginners and experienced drone users. My favorite features after using the drone for a few days are:
The video quality is superb! The DJI Air 3 can record video in 4K at 60 frames per second, which is incredibly sharp and smooth.
The 3-axis gimbal keeps the footage smooth even when the drone is flying in windy conditions. This ensured my videos looked professional and trust me when I tell you I’m anything but.
The ActiveTrack 4.0 tracking system is very accurate and easy to use. You can simply select an object or person in the drone's view, and the drone will track them automatically.
The Ocusync 3.0 transmission system ensures that you have a clear view of the drone's footage even when you're far away. This worked really smoothly with no perceptible lag. It’s kind of like magic, I have no idea how this works.
The Fly More Combo includes many accessories, such as a carrying case, extra batteries, and a charging hub. This makes it easy to take your drone with you wherever you go. The battery charging system and case stand out as must-have accessories that definitely make flying your drone even more convenient.
Overall, I think the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo is an incredible drone for anyone looking for a high-quality, easy-to-use drone. It has a lot of features that make it great for both beginners and experienced pilots alike. If you’re in the market for a drone and have the money to spend, the Air 3 Fly More Combo is the perfect choice.
Here are some quick pros and cons of the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo:

ActiveTrack 4.0 tracking system
Ocusync 3.0 transmission system

Best All Around Drone in 2023
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
The DJI Air 3 is one of the best, if not the best all around prosumer drone you can buy right now. This drone can serve as an all-around hobby drone to have fun just flying around or for some serious professional work (social media, Stock photo/video, Real estate, and more. You do need to purchase a charging brick, so be sure to get one with at least a 65 watt rating or higher. You don’t need the DJI branded one.
Who should get this done? Well, I think there are a couple of categories for why you would want this drone:
1) The person who is just getting into the hobby and wants one of the best all-around drones on the market for battery life, range, camera quality, wind resistance, night photos, 360 obstacle avoidance, is easy to fly, and cost for features.
2) The person who already has a DJI drone from Mini 3, Air 2, and Mavic 2 series and older and you are ready to spend money on an upgrade. This is the one you were waiting for, especially for the cost to quality/features ratio.
3) Somone who has a mini series and is looking for a secondary drone that will handle stronger winds, has better cameras, and improved flight time and range. This will be a great secondary drone for you. You don’t need that Mavic 3 Series, but if you do, well you probably already know your use case for that drone. Save your money and get the Air 3 instead.
I currently own a DJI Mini 3 Pro and an Autel Evo Lite plus. Comparing these to the DJI Air 3, If you own a Mini 3 pro and have been happy with the quality you are getting, only buy this if you find yourself frequently needing a drone that can handle increased wind speeds or you need a drone with active track. Otherwise, don’t worry about the FOMO, save your money. If you have an Autel Evo Lite plus, I find the Air 3 has more reliable connection with the controller. I find I have issues with maintaining a connection from the drone to the controller on the Autel. For the average drone enthusiast, the camera quality is great on both, you won’t notice a real difference in daylight shots. For the professional, the 1-inch sensor and 5.4k camera on the Autel is going to give you a boost in image quality for editing later on.
Lastly, some quick highlights of the DJI Air 3, this drone is quick! I’ve been able to reach 33 mph against mild wind conditions. It’s the fastest out of my Mini 3 Pro and Autel Evo Lite plus. The second camera is awesome for getting closer to your subject without having to fly as close. Fly more combo is must, save your money and get this package, it’s the best value overall if you are set on getting an Air 3. I absolutely recommend getting DJI care, I’ve had to use it on my Mini 3 pro, and it was a life saver.
*** Pro tip, the DJI Min 4 Pro can do about 90% of what the DJI Air 3 is capable of for the average person. The Air 3 will perform better in stronger windy conditions and it has that second camera 3x zoom lens.

Upgrading from the DJI Air 2s, I am extremely happy with the Air 3. The addition of the Waypoints feature has greatly improved the quality of my videos when making use of this feature. This also allows my flights to be more structured and efficient where I'm and down sooner.
The improved collision avoidance sensors also allows for better confidence when flying side to side. Battery life is much improved as well. I am extremely happy with this purchase and feel this is by far the favorite drone I've used in 4-5 years of flying

I recently purchased the Air 3 drone from Best Buy and have been thoroughly impressed with my overall experience. As someone who values detailed and honest reviews, I want to share my thoughts on this fantastic product.
Product Performance (5/5):
From the moment I took the Air 3 out of the box, I could tell it was a quality piece of technology. The flight performance is outstanding, with smooth and stable controls that make it easy to navigate even for someone new to drone piloting. The drone's camera captures stunning aerial footage, and the image stabilization feature ensures that the videos and photos remain clear and steady.
Build Quality (5/5):
The build quality of the Air 3 is exceptional. The materials used feel durable, and the construction is robust without being overly heavy. I appreciate the attention to detail in the design, from the foldable arms for portability to the LED lights that make it easy to spot in the sky. It's evident that the manufacturers prioritized both functionality and aesthetics.
Battery Life (4/5):
While the battery life is decent, it would be great to have a slightly longer flight time. However, the included spare battery mitigates this concern, allowing for extended usage without interruption. I recommend purchasing an additional battery for extended sessions, especially for those who plan to capture a lot of footage in one outing.
User-Friendly Features (5/5):
Setting up and operating the Air 3 is a breeze. The user interface on the controller is intuitive, and the accompanying mobile app provides additional functionality and control. I particularly appreciate the intelligent flight modes, such as Follow Me and Waypoints, which add a creative touch to my aerial photography.
Customer Service (5/5):
My experience with Best Buy's customer service was exceptional. The staff was knowledgeable and helped me choose the Air 3 drone for my needs. The purchase process was smooth, and the timely delivery exceeded my expectations.
In conclusion, the Air 3 has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, build quality, and user-friendly features. While there's always room for improvement, especially in terms of battery life, the overall experience has been outstanding. I highly recommend the Air 3 to both beginners and seasoned drone enthusiasts.

I was pretty nervous flying this for the first time, but with all the safety features it was a breeze. I've never flown a drone before, and I found this easy to fly with a little bit of common sense and caution. Having 3 flight modes is great. The dual cameras are fantastic. 2 extra batteries, extra props, RC 2 controller and smart charger in the fly-more combo makes this perfect. It even has a canvas carry bag. Although, it could have just a bit more room in that. Some Must Have accessories would be a few of the recommended microSD cards. A set of ND filters. I suggest the ones that have 2 different f-Stop ratings since the fixed apatures are different on the 2 cameras.
On the negative side, it does NOT come with a charging brick, you'll want to get a 100W USB-C charger. And, like I mentioned above, the canvas carry bag is a bit tight. Not much room for additional accessories. Last, the flight time is not 45 minutes. More like 30 in real world conditions. Still very good though.
