Maybe The Perfect Drone?
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo comes with everything a person needs to get started on their drone journey. The Air 3 has a lot of features that make it great for both beginners and experienced drone users. My favorite features after using the drone for a few days are: The video quality is superb! The DJI Air 3 can record video in 4K at 60 frames per second, which is incredibly sharp and smooth. The 3-axis gimbal keeps the footage smooth even when the drone is flying in windy conditions. This ensured my videos looked professional and trust me when I tell you I’m anything but. The ActiveTrack 4.0 tracking system is very accurate and easy to use. You can simply select an object or person in the drone's view, and the drone will track them automatically. The Ocusync 3.0 transmission system ensures that you have a clear view of the drone's footage even when you're far away. This worked really smoothly with no perceptible lag. It’s kind of like magic, I have no idea how this works. The Fly More Combo includes many accessories, such as a carrying case, extra batteries, and a charging hub. This makes it easy to take your drone with you wherever you go. The battery charging system and case stand out as must-have accessories that definitely make flying your drone even more convenient. Overall, I think the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo is an incredible drone for anyone looking for a high-quality, easy-to-use drone. It has a lot of features that make it great for both beginners and experienced pilots alike. If you’re in the market for a drone and have the money to spend, the Air 3 Fly More Combo is the perfect choice. Here are some quick pros and cons of the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo: Pros: 4K/60fps video quality 3-axis gimbal for smooth video ActiveTrack 4.0 tracking system Ocusync 3.0 transmission system Fly More Combo includes a lot of accessories that let you fly longer Cons: Expensive, you may be a little shocked Some features may be too advanced for beginners and require some research Still wish each battery lasted for a little bit longer

A simple to operate drone with big time quality fe
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The DJI - Air 3 Fly More Combo Drone and RC 2 Remote Control with Built-in Screen – Gray is the perfect drone for beginners, intermediates, and expert flyers. As a novice drone flyer, I needed a drone without so much complication to learn its basic operations of flight. The DJI - Air 3 Fly More Combo Drone and RC 2 Remote Control with Built-in Screen – Gray does that exactly. Straight out of the box with the scanning of the QR code, I received orderly instructions to connect the propellers, pair the drone with the remote control, use the charging hub, and complete drone flying lessons. The hardest part of setting up the DJI - Air 3 Fly More Combo Drone and RC 2 Remote Control with Built-in Screen – Gray was trying to register it on the Federal Aviation Administration’s DroneZone Website. I could not figure out how to answer some of the questions about the technical aspects of the drone. I needed to call DJI customer service and have a representative walk me through the registration process. After registration, it took a few days learning from the flying tutorials how to safely pilot the DJI - Air 3 Fly More Combo Drone and RC 2 Remote Control with Built-in Screen – Gray. Flying can be down with automatic take off and landing until better handling of the drone is learned. Pictures are sharp and clear, with a professional look. The DJI - Air 3 Fly More Combo Drone and RC 2 Remote Control with Built-in Screen – Gray can be used for amateur or professional drone needs, making it a top of the line drone.

Another great DJI drone
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DJI is the undisputed drone champion, and the new Air 3 is just further proof of that. It's a fantastic drone that sits between the Mini 4 and Mavic lines in both size and price. It has features that photographers, content creators, and casual users could all appreciate. I own 3 DJI drones. They all have excellent flight characteristics, and loads of features. For me, the major differentiator comes down to the camera. The Air 3 has two cameras--a wide-angle and 3x telephoto, at 24mm and 70mm respectively. So, when you can't fly there, the telephoto lens can easily take you there. Yes, you could crop the image from the 24mm lens, but you'll lose data. The telephoto lens retains the data, thus retaining quality. I posted a couple of pictures to illustrate the 3x telephoto lens. Picture and video quality from the Air 3 is excellent. Colors are vibrant, but not overblown, if you prefer you can shoot RAW. The camera comes in at 48MP, so you can capture lots of detail. The only complaint I have is minor. Most DJI drones include a strap that keeps the blades in place for storage. The Air 3 does not have this type of strap. I just try to be careful when putting it in the case. Should you buy the Air 3? That's a tough question. It uses the same camera as a less expensive DJI model, but adds a second camera with a mid tele lens. If you think you would benefit from the 70mm lens, the Air 3 is a great option. I can tell you I've enjoyed the flexibility.

AIR 3. DJI’s full featured Hot Rod
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this immediately after DJI released this drone. This is my 8th DJI drone and by far the nicest . It replaced my Air2S , which is one of the best drones I have ever owned. The Air 3 has about every kind of feature that DJI puts into their camera drones. On my first flight, the fast speed and acceleration is the first thing I noticed . It’s a hot rod. While the camera sensor is smaller than the Air2S, it still takes a suburb picture and the video is actually a tad better. The best way to describe the camera versus the Air2S is that it’s just “Different”. Not really better or worse. Battery life is incredible. And The RC2 controller with OcuSync 4 is way better and stronger than previous versions.

The 4K Ultra HD camera captures stunningly detailed and crisp footage, making it perfect for aerial photography and videography. The drone also has a 3-axis gimbal that ensures stable and smooth shots, even in windy conditions. Another impressive aspect of this drone is its long flight time. With a maximum flight time of up to 31 minutes, I was able to capture a wide range of shots without constantly worrying about the battery life. DJI Air 3 fly more combo is the best value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The camera on the Air3 is excellent. The gimbal has the best up and down tilt of any drone I have seen. It tilts -90 (straight down) to +60 above horizon which allows for many interesting possibilities. I love the quality of the photos and videos. The DJI RC 2 is the best remote I have ever used. It is very responsive and provides the best control over the drone I've seen. In the range I was flying, it had virtually no lag time. The built in screen with the preloaded fly app. are a added bonus. It is nice to have the ability to fly without having to use your phone. I am very pleased with my purchase of the DJI Air3 with the fly more kit. I think the fly more kit is a good value for anyone that plans to do any extended flying. I seriously recommend this this drone and kit to anyone that is serious about drone photography.

Best All Around Drone in 2023
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The DJI Air 3 is one of the best, if not the best all around prosumer drone you can buy right now. This drone can serve as an all-around hobby drone to have fun just flying around or for some serious professional work (social media, Stock photo/video, Real estate, and more. You do need to purchase a charging brick, so be sure to get one with at least a 65 watt rating or higher. You don’t need the DJI branded one. Who should get this done? Well, I think there are a couple of categories for why you would want this drone: 1) The person who is just getting into the hobby and wants one of the best all-around drones on the market for battery life, range, camera quality, wind resistance, night photos, 360 obstacle avoidance, is easy to fly, and cost for features. 2) The person who already has a DJI drone from Mini 3, Air 2, and Mavic 2 series and older and you are ready to spend money on an upgrade. This is the one you were waiting for, especially for the cost to quality/features ratio. 3) Somone who has a mini series and is looking for a secondary drone that will handle stronger winds, has better cameras, and improved flight time and range. This will be a great secondary drone for you. You don’t need that Mavic 3 Series, but if you do, well you probably already know your use case for that drone. Save your money and get the Air 3 instead. I currently own a DJI Mini 3 Pro and an Autel Evo Lite plus. Comparing these to the DJI Air 3, If you own a Mini 3 pro and have been happy with the quality you are getting, only buy this if you find yourself frequently needing a drone that can handle increased wind speeds or you need a drone with active track. Otherwise, don’t worry about the FOMO, save your money. If you have an Autel Evo Lite plus, I find the Air 3 has more reliable connection with the controller. I find I have issues with maintaining a connection from the drone to the controller on the Autel. For the average drone enthusiast, the camera quality is great on both, you won’t notice a real difference in daylight shots. For the professional, the 1-inch sensor and 5.4k camera on the Autel is going to give you a boost in image quality for editing later on. Lastly, some quick highlights of the DJI Air 3, this drone is quick! I’ve been able to reach 33 mph against mild wind conditions. It’s the fastest out of my Mini 3 Pro and Autel Evo Lite plus. The second camera is awesome for getting closer to your subject without having to fly as close. Fly more combo is must, save your money and get this package, it’s the best value overall if you are set on getting an Air 3. I absolutely recommend getting DJI care, I’ve had to use it on my Mini 3 pro, and it was a life saver. *** Pro tip, the DJI Min 4 Pro can do about 90% of what the DJI Air 3 is capable of for the average person. The Air 3 will perform better in stronger windy conditions and it has that second camera 3x zoom lens.

Exceptional Drone Experience with Air 3
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the Air 3 drone from Best Buy and have been thoroughly impressed with my overall experience. As someone who values detailed and honest reviews, I want to share my thoughts on this fantastic product. Product Performance (5/5): From the moment I took the Air 3 out of the box, I could tell it was a quality piece of technology. The flight performance is outstanding, with smooth and stable controls that make it easy to navigate even for someone new to drone piloting. The drone's camera captures stunning aerial footage, and the image stabilization feature ensures that the videos and photos remain clear and steady. Build Quality (5/5): The build quality of the Air 3 is exceptional. The materials used feel durable, and the construction is robust without being overly heavy. I appreciate the attention to detail in the design, from the foldable arms for portability to the LED lights that make it easy to spot in the sky. It's evident that the manufacturers prioritized both functionality and aesthetics. Battery Life (4/5): While the battery life is decent, it would be great to have a slightly longer flight time. However, the included spare battery mitigates this concern, allowing for extended usage without interruption. I recommend purchasing an additional battery for extended sessions, especially for those who plan to capture a lot of footage in one outing. User-Friendly Features (5/5): Setting up and operating the Air 3 is a breeze. The user interface on the controller is intuitive, and the accompanying mobile app provides additional functionality and control. I particularly appreciate the intelligent flight modes, such as Follow Me and Waypoints, which add a creative touch to my aerial photography. Customer Service (5/5): My experience with Best Buy's customer service was exceptional. The staff was knowledgeable and helped me choose the Air 3 drone for my needs. The purchase process was smooth, and the timely delivery exceeded my expectations. In conclusion, the Air 3 has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, build quality, and user-friendly features. While there's always room for improvement, especially in terms of battery life, the overall experience has been outstanding. I highly recommend the Air 3 to both beginners and seasoned drone enthusiasts.

Huge upgrade over the A2S!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the A2S. And what an upgrade it was. The battery life IS SO MUCH BETTER over the A2S. Air 3 is much faster, instantly reacts to input from the RC. The camera is fantastic especially the lowlight performance. Signal strength is also much much better. I’ve been able to go to places without signal loss I never could before. Highly recommended!!

Everything I was looking for
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the DJI line-up, I have only owned the Minis. Specifically 2 and 3. While I was happy with what they offered, each was always missing one or two features I really wanted, but I understood the sacrifice associated with the size of the drone. Lately, the one feature I've seen advance is Active Tracking. The closest mini was the 3 Pro, but it came without the lateral avoidance sensors which hindered flight paths. So, that led me to wanting to step-up a class. It was between a Skydio 2+ and the Air 3. With Skydio exiting the consumer drone business and seeing the advancements of the Air 3, it was easy to choose. If you're coming from Minis, this is roughly twice the size. It still feels portable, but will need Faa registration. Like the models before, quality and build feel great. No worries flying this one in tougher winds. In all of the drones I've owned, DJI and others, this was the easiest box to flight I've ever experienced. After the updates, literally connected in seconds, and off we went. Immediately in flight, the usefulness of 360 sensors became evident. I live near a group of tress and no matter the direction, I received ample warning of clearance. Now, the main ticket, the active track. Better than I hoped. My last full size drone did a decent job of tracking, but when sprinting, I would outrun it and it would never reconfigure properly. The Air 3, is on it. I feel comfortable going any way and have it keep position. Front, back, side, doesn't matter, it stays where you put it! Couldn't be happier. Camera is sharp and clean, and the video from drone to controller is still lag free. Battery lives up to expectations. I've packed this drone up for a trip, and will be looking to do some more "riskier" shots. With the stability and quality of this drone, I have no worries.

Best deal if you want professional photos/vids
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought the Air 3 a few weeks ago - my first drone. I have to say, it took me a few months to pull the trigger but with a point by point comparison, including cost, I have to say you can’t find a better drone. It is PACKED with features and with the RC 2 and its ability to program waypoints and mastershots pre-programmed, it’s a much better deal than the Mavik 3 Pro/RC Pro combo. For someone who wants nearly the same features for less than a third of the price it was the route to go for me. I can do nearly everything with my Air 3 that a Mavic 3 Pro can do. My Air 3 Fly More w/RC 2 was $1549.. the Mavic 3 Pro Fly More with the RC Pro is a hefty $3889. Even if you go with the downgraded RC - which is the entry level controller with a screen - you’re looking at $2999, nearly double the cost of the Air 3 with an RC 2.

Amazing Drone, love the capabilities!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing right out of the box. I am a novice with drones, but with this unit, I am EXCITED to use it!! I have bought several cheap drones - $100 to 300. Waste of money and time. This Air 3 was phenomenal in all aspects. Ease of use, camera, and optional flight operations. It does take some time to get used to this unit, as it does have a remarkable altitude and distance capabilities, and it can easily get out of sight. I am slowly getting brave with the distance - going a bit further each time and getting familiar with the unit. The camera is fantastic for what I am using it for, basic friends and family functions. Very clear and bright picture, awesome pan and zoom functions. Overall for my experience, this should be the first drone you buy. It's a bit expensive for a first timer, but well worth the cost, avoid the cheap units because you will be dis-heartened with drones like I was. This DJI Air 3 was an eye-opener for sure. Go with the best - DJI Air 3..
