First time buying a FPV and it’s amazing! Iv been flying drones for a few years now but I have to say that’s FPV is way more fun to fly. The MC is fun as well, takes some practice but it’s really easy to fly. I do wish there was obstacle avoidance but I’m guessing because of the closeness to objects you need to get footage it would be tough to add OA. Def get the Fly more combo Check out my IG page: ( MON5T3R_ )for footage or any questions!

Quite possibly the best drone yet. I’ve had a bunch and this one is now my go-to. First time ever flying FPV and I’m hooked. Everything about this drone is better than the Avata 1. I can’t think of anything I’d add or change except maybe the price point (bc I’m cheap), however, for the money, it’s the best on the market. Definitely a game changer in the drone world and a new bar to climb above.

This new Dji Avata 2 drone is amazing and fun! I love it and would recommend it to anyone starting out in the fpv hobby. I purchased the combo kit with the drone, 3 batteries and charger box, motion controller and bag. If you want the the newest controller (Dji fpv controller 3) that’s an extra cost of $200 separately. If you want ND filters that’s another cost of $75, that’s for Dji branded filters or you go on Amazon and purchase 3rd party ones for cheaper. There was recently a huge firmware update that has made it backwards compatible with the Dji controller 2 and goggles 2 and Integra goggles and motion controller. The drone’s camera is excellent and the quality of the videos and photos are excellent. The goggles have no light leaks and you don’t have to connect your phone to the goggles like on the goggles 2 for the gps. Only con about this drone is it feels not as tough as the Dji Avata 1. So if you crash REALLY hard it’s going to get wrecked! I’d look into the Dji Refresh care plan. Other than that this drone is fantastic!

The Avata 2 is an excellent DJI FPV Cinewoop drone! Remember it's a Cinewoop, not your homeade FPV. I could go on about that, but if you want a drone that goes 90+ mph this drone is not for you.
This is for epic cinematic shots, with some easy to utilize flips, drifts, etc.
If you go to DJI.com you can read about the differences easily between the Avata 1 and the new Avata 2. Is it worth the upgrade, well that depends on your budget and case use.
For me as professional cinephotographer, the camerassensor upgrade alone is worth the upgrade.
DJI is reliable, quality and makes their drones easy to fly for beginners to pros.
The Motion 3 controller is delightful experience and easy to use for all! My son was flying easily within 5 minutes.
I ordered The controller 3 for manual flight which gives me more freedom in my flight. You can go faster as well And easily hit 60 mph. You won't be able to hit 60 mph with a motion 3 controller, unless you have a good tail wind. None the rest, this is not a racing drone etc.
Lots more to point out, but what I can say this is an epic drone!

Very fun to fly. Easy to get the hang of. Nothing compares to this. I have and love a Mavic 3, but flying the Avata 2 is so much fun! I never realized how much fun it is flying low to the ground compared to way up high in the sky. you really get a sense of speed when flying low.

Bought this as my 1st drone and can't recommend it enough, lots of fun. I got the fly more and I get bored before using up all 3 batteries (1h flight time). Super easy to fly and beginner friendly.

Awesome sensation flying through the googles. Intuitive controls and ability to adjust on the fly. Took great videos and pictures in Alaska. Looking forward to getting better at the advanced flying settings.

Excellent Drone, way better than the original Avata. Most of the issues from the original Avata have been resolved. The number 1 biggest issue is its still very loud (though quieter than original Avata). The camera upgrade is great along with the new motion controller.

The Fly More combo is the way to go. Three batteries are necessary if you want decent flight time. Overall, I am very happy with the ease of setup and use. I recommend watching some introduction videos for tips and pointers.

This is DJI most kid friendly and dumb proof drone to date. Takes great aerial shots. The goggles are super comfortable and HD display is super crisp and clear. The flips and speed will keep you entertained for hours.

Better camera, lighter, feels faster but not actually faster, better goggles experience, better size controller, better battery design, can now flip without manual control, better connection all around better device

Better in every way than the first Avata. Easy Acro mode is a blast, allowing you to do flips and rolls with the motion controller and without entering Manual mode.

A great FPV for beginners and even coupled with the FPV controller 3 is still a blast for those with more advanced skills. The quantity DJI is know for is built in throughout the Avata 2.
