Its amazing and easy to fly but battery life sucks

I really liked this drone at first. It's been a year and hardly any firmware updates. All the features they promised have not come. The biggest drawback to this drone is the fact that every time you bind the goggles to your FPV freesytle drone you lose the bind to your DJI drone, controller and goggles. Once you re-bind your DJI FPV drone, controler and goggles then you lose all the binds to your FPV freestyle drones basically forcing me to have two goggles, one for my freestyle drones and one for the DJI FPV drone. Please fix this!

The first three flights were fine. But on the fourth flight, two days after the warranty was out, I set everything up properly, push forward on the left stick to takeoff, and from that point on no control whatsoever. After takeoff it took off by itself. First it went left them backwards at full speed into a building. Somehow it stayed airborne and tried flying into the building two more times before it decided to flip upside down and fly straight into the ground we're at flopped around for a couple minutes before it finally stopped. It's funny how things were great till right after the initial purchase warranty expired at 15 days. I had forgotten to add it to my DJI account after the first flight. But DJI knows I purchased it because it shows up in the app. Seems to me it's programmed to crash if you don't buy the extended warranty. But if you do, it'll fly perfectly. Now if I flew it into the building, then that's on me. But the drone itself wouldn't except control inputs, so I would assume that the crash was on them. Especially after only 16 days and 3 flights after purchase. It seemed to try to destroy itself beyond repair while it did its thing.

If your a beginner or just want some cinematic shots, this is the drone for you, just dont crash it. The drone cant take a very hard crash at all. I mean as soon as i went to full manual mode, i crashed within 5 flights..id get the arm bracers, they will help avoid a broken arm unless its just a full speed crash, then your gonna replace 2 arms..

PLEASE READ THIS. The drone is NOT WORTH THE MONEY. At ALL! IT'S A MISSION TO SET UP. WIRES EVERYWHERE. IT DIES IN LESS THEN 10min. I have owned DJI drones and OMG WOW. NEVER AGAIN! THANK GOD FOR THE 14DAY RETURN POLICY. (I will be returning it less than 24 hours) I'M SO DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE IT LOOKS SO COOL. DO NOT BUY.

The product was defective, I am guessing was a fabrication problem. the drone loses the power and gets in a lake.

Have not had too much time to fly this cause of the frigid cold but the times I did fly this it was “Awesome!!” Just waiting for the warm weather to get this thing really flying out in the country, here in town I’m so close to the airport that I have to register each time I fly it.

The drone looks cool and all, but it’s just not ready for prime time. It took me 6 hours of trying to download the firmware update, and you can’t fly without it. I finally got it to update. Yay. Then, I wanted to try the virtual training which they highly suggest. The goggles would connect just fine, but when it tried to connect to the remote controller, it couldn’t. It said to make sure the controller and the goggles were paired correctly. Huh? I couldn’t find a single video that showed how to pair the goggles to the remote. I found a ton of videos that show how to connect everything, but I don’t need to. So, the training app is useless. Today I was able to fly the drone. But I can’t tell when it’s recording and the RTH function is sooo slow I wasn’t sure it was actually doing it. If you have to use that and you’re far away, you might run out of battery before it gets to you. Oh, and to top it all off, the app won’t connect to the drone AT ALL. I wanted to download whatever I thought I recorded, and it won’t connect. This is the worst product experience I have ever had. Returning it today.

Love this drone, the only things that I have not been a fan of is the app for training doesnt work. You dont need training to fly it in normal mode honestly its easy but full manual you need training and simulation practice which you can do on the DJI fly app but the app just doesnt work well. The camera could also use a slightly larger sensor.

I saw this on sale and wanted one so bad that I bought it. I had a previous drone that after using one time only, I let my nephew and experience drone fly or use it and it was damaged. So as far as this drone, it’s great. But this is not for beginners. It’s like a BMW as your first car with all the options. Also, DJI offers insurance that I wasn’t aware of. It’s an extra $200+ and reduces the cost of a replacement in case yours gets lost in is unrecovered. I’m not saying this is a bad choice, but I am definitely a beginner and it was too much Drone for me. But it is definitely of high-quality and not for beginners or kids. I ended up returning mine because of the weather and I didn’t want to lose it.

This drone is so much fun. Very fast. The goggles make the experience. Very exhilarating to fly. The drone is quick and agile. Turns extremely fast. Great race drone. On normal mode it is a great picture drone. Videos are outstanding and fun to watch.

Great drone for those wanting to learn FPV. I started in normal mode and work my way up to manual mode and then to a real carbon fiber fpv drone. I still fly this thing every now and then my only complaint is the durability. I wrecked 5 of them but bestbuy warranty is A1. Please get the warranty! You were warned

I have flown for years and I have flown FPV just as long, this is an amazing ready to go setup. it is not really for a beginner. The quality and features you expect from DJI and also the battery life is very nice if you are just flying around.

The versatility of being able to use this drone as a beginner user and also as a experienced drone user is by far the best out there. The FPV headset is a different level, makes flying a whole new experience.

After 3 weeks of ownership my remote will not calibrate. I get a stick error. Ive done everything on the forums to no prevail. I must say that the last 3 weeks have been awesome and this is the best of what mankind can do. The experience is like no other and it's capabilities are astonishing. I've even picked up a video editing addiction... I've contacted support but I'm not finding a solution here. Disconnected twice, and the chat is a little too slow paced for me

DJI products are in a different league to other manufacturers. This thing is quality! Easy to set up and the best FPV experience out of the box money can buy. Simply amazing.

Nice Drone BUT DJI said you can use the DJI simulator fpv app to learn how to fly FPV. The app will not work with android phones. So I returned it for 2 reasons. 1 I am not going to crash a $1,300 drone if I can't learn to fly FPV and 2nd for 1,300 the app should work with any phone.

I did so much research before buying this drone, and everything I researched said that it was like a typical DJI drone with capability of being on full manual, and much faster than other drones as well as the virtual reality field, but when I bought it I flew it one time and it’s immediately going back! It sucks! The flight time was eight minutes and the battery was so low it was sending it back to home, but before even getting back to home it had to emergency land several blocks from where it started because it couldn’t make it back! The battery is so ridiculous in this drone you are lucky to get 10 minutes out of it ! My first time playing it on my first full charge could not even last nine minutes!!! This company makes some amazing drones, but this is not one of them! Save your money, buy a Mavic!

So this is my 1st legit drone I am very happy with all the safety features for beginners and enjoy the fact that once I get better at operating I can go full mode

This is an great choice for a drone if you are looking for entertainment. Lots of practice and you will be doing flips and recording awesome videos!
