Horrible DJI Drone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bought many drones over the years. I built them with parts and 3d printers. This is by far the worst drone I have ever flown . The price is 4 times what its worth. It wouldnt go father than 600 meters before losing signal at 600 ft. The camera was clear but only moves on one axis. The map isnt like the rest showing many types of views. Its not comfortable to wear headset. It will not work with wearing headset. I hated this drone so badly I took it back in 2 days knowing I can keep it 59 days with no return problems. It is junk for a grand. The battery lasts 12 minutes tops.

Highly restrictive flying areas in SF bay area

DJI and their dealers make no effort to disclose restrictions with their equipment. I now have a thousand dollar paperweight, it will not even let you start the motors or use it in any way if its in a restricted zone, of which nearly the entire bay area is included, cant hover in my livingroom or backyard. Nothing about that in all their marketing videos, looks like you can just go to a park and have fun. I suggest anyone considering the highly regulated DJI brand, download the FAA app and you may be surprised as i was at how restricted your area is, an altitude limitation of 50 feet would be reasonable, buyer beware.
