The FPV Remote Controller 3 makes it easier to fly in Auto mode and allows you to fly in manual mode. Tip: Don’t forget to unlock the spring tension on the left joystick to fly in manual mode and set the Flight Mode Switch for manual flying. This remote also works with Liftoff on PC and Mac. Overall, this is a good product for the Avata 2.

Lightweight and packable. Hall sensor gimbals. It’s hard not to love. The control link is sent to the drone using the goggles, genius. Great battery life. Lanyard ready.

Comfortable controller. Very lightweight. Removable stick ends, nice for when you put in a bag. Only 2 cons for me is they aren’t full size gimbals. And you are locked into DJI ecosystem

Was super easy to bind with my Avata 2, and works flawlessly! Now I just need to get more practice in order to unlock all the magic this controller & drone combo are capable of! Definitely would recommend buying this in order to take your Avata 2 to the next level.

I was nervous at first to switch to this controller after using the motion controller that came with the Avata 2, but to my surprise, it is extremely easy to make the change, and in fact, I feel safer using this controller. Solid, quality construction, a bit like an oversized xbox controller. Just make sure to learn where the critical buttons are before tossing on the goggles!

Works great, item is as described and works well with the simulator liftoff

I bought this to use on liftoff simulator. At first I had problem with calibrating the controller. however, I was able to fix the problem after watching hours of YouTube videos.

I’m very impressed with this controller. Super lightweight and a must for FPV drones. Also wonderful to use on FPV simulator.

This is a great FPV remote for someone that doesn't want the giant family Bible style controller. Ergonomically it's perfect for me, which makes me think it's likely a little oversized for a child or anyone with smaller hands. I hope DJI starts making products like this that aren't locked to a small range of products. It's especially maddening when you know that there is no technical reason for some devices not to pair with it. Since this is such a great controller for practicing on sims, having Bluetooth controller capability would have made this a no-brainer purchase for anyone wanting to dip their toe in the water of fpv.

It takes some getting used to, but the control is phenomenal. The range is excellent. I went out over a mile and was in no danger of losing signal.

I love it, I think DJI could improve in some parts but overall I love it, maybe the sticks should be a little longer but that’s my preference, I still use them for my manual mode flights, when used in normal / sports mode it helps you with those cinematic scenes with the gimbal control plus the sticks that it’s hard to achieve with the motion controller

If you are a thumb pilot or accustomed to using game controllers, this may be the best style controller for you. Offering customizable buttons and plenty of controls to handle the Avatas and for anyone wishing to progress into manual, full control flight, this controller is an absolute must have. The downside for me is, because I fly by "pinching" the sticks and my grip on the controller, it is tricky not to accidentally engage a button or control switch with my other fingers. For most FPV pilots, these controllers offer better handling and are far more preferred over the motion controller, in fact, my motion controller hasnt been out of the case since my remote controller 3 arrived.

I have the rc motion controller but I definitely prefer this one. It just makes the experience of flying better!
