I didn't purchase any extra batteries when I got my mavic from dji. Needed extra batteries for Moe flight time so I ordered two extra and they work perfectly.

If you like to fly your drone for long periods of time, you will need extra batteries. I would recommend having at least 2 extra batteries when traveling.

We do a lot of exploring on Route 66 so the DJI has become very handy getting shots of it. The battery is long lasting and works perfectly.

If you have a mavic pro you need more that 2 batteries. Maybe 3 or 4 in total is enough. Buy the originals, the difference between fake is just 10.

Doubles your fly time and now you can have one charging while flying with the other one! Two batteries is the MINIMUM I'd recommend anyone to own!

If you don't mined the two tone look of your platinum pro, this battery is the same if you need on now vs waiting for out of stock to arrive.

If you have a Mavic, then you need to buy a spare battery. This battery is light weight and last about twenty mins of flying time. Great purchase.
