They work great and all, I just wish there was more and that they worked in more situations, ie they don’t work in sports mode. It’s understandable completely, just wishful thinking. It’s honestly out performed what I was thinking but was capable of. It’s been out a looong way with minimal signal interruption. It’s also been in some winds that I’m not sure I’d fly other drones in. Would I buy again? Oh yeah. DJI has impressed me with this one. Actually one more thing that I forgot about and is another thing I would change - the way the drone folds up. If you keep the propellers on when folding the back legs, the drone sits on the propellers. Now I’m under the impression this will be fine and won’t throw off/distort the propellers because it is designed that way but as a safety precaution I take the back ones off every time I fold it up. I need a case it can sit in fully unfolded and haven’t found one yet.

Great Drone, Easy to Fly

There were also constant software updates the only seemed to make the connectivity issues worse. After spending several hours on the with DJI customer service (who were to say the least very unhelpful) I decided to return this item.

We are sorry that the firmware upgrades have degraded your experience with the drone. It may be that you had a defective unit. Other units have not seen this reduced signal, and the update merely fixed the bugs it was meant to fix.

The Hasselblad camera with 1” sensor is a world of difference vs the MA’s 1/2.3” providing 20MP still photos and allowing videos to be captured in low lighting conditions. The Occusync 2.0 allows an effective range of over 5 miles unobstructed and no external radio interference nearby. Flight time is typically between 24-28 mins in practical real life conditions when constantly flying forward at a steady 25kmh(15.5mph).
