I have owned several drones and have over 70 hours of flight experience, and i can say without a doubt after owning this drone for several months this is the best drone I have owned. The Hasselblad camera is truly impressive, providing incredible dynamic range. The long flight time gives me the ability to set waypoints and record 12second hyperlapse videos with ease. Even the telephoto creates incredible imaging and has 28x zoom! The omni obstacle avoidance makes taking vid i never would have done with another drone possible with ease. I was even able to get long exposure photo of a waterfall with decent results in 25mph wind!

THE MAVIC 3 Pro is an excellent drone with features that make it unique in its category, a Pro camera with ZOOM and all the basics necessary to create good audiovisual material and content for social networks, its almost 40 minutes of flight autonomy allows us to work with more calm while its sensors ensure a safer flight and a solid transmission system of the latest generation with more than 10 km of range

Amazing drone, DJI has made their best drone in the MAVIC 3. Technology-packed drone. Time and distance are unparalleled. I've owned just about every DJI drone, this one is the cream of the crop. Only thing I would suggest is that the flagship drone should warrant a higher-quality controller for the 2300 dollar price

I have the mini, Air 2, and now the Mavic 3. Fast powerful and for a drone that software is incomplete I can't weight to see what January's update brings, Do your own in depth research for yourself before purchasing. Again incase you didn't understand the software is note complete UPDATE COMING IN JANUARY. FLY SAFE.

I was very excited when the M3 was announced. Unfortunately, I watched many YouTube reviews on the drone. Mostly good and some bad. I decided to purchase anyway as a Christmas gift to myself.
When I purchased, the first firmware was just released that incorporated most of the features the drone was missing that should've been available from the very beginning. The camera looks sick. That's all I can say about that. I tried to use the zoom camera but it's just not as good as I would've hope. The main camera is great. Def an upgrade from the M2 in picture quality.
Didn't purchase the fly more combo as I didn't want the bag and other unnecessary accessories. I bought the drone, 2 extra batteries, a hard case from PGYTech, the battery charger base and eventually the RC Pro controller.
I'm very disappointed in the controller that came with the M3. As much as the drone cost, it should've been bundled with the RC Pro controller or something closer to what they offered with the M2. Using my cell phone was very frustrating and I finally purchased the RC Pro controller separate. That was another $1200 but well worth it.
After a few weeks using the M3. I'm having issue in N-Mode. I reached out to DJI and they said that a small amount of users are experience this issue. What's happening is while flying straight and level in N-Mode, the drone goes crazy every few ft (15-ish) and what happens is it will wobble and ascend. I did this multiple times and the drone ascended from 60ft to 90ft in about a distance of 100ft straight and level. All I did was push the right control stick straight up to go forward. DJI said it's an issue with APAS and I should fly with the sensors disabled. I should also avoid flying over water, ice, and anything that will reflect light. Apparently there are working on this. So overtime I fly, I'm in S-Mode but drains my batteries even faster.
Be warned if you purchase the Wide Angle Lens for the M3. Attaching the lens deactivates certain camera features. I missed out on a great sunrise due to this. Nowhere on DJI website does it say the Wide Angle Lens is used only for taking stills and video. Cannot use to take hyperlaps, pano, quickshots, etc. The lens was also $200. They wouldn't let me return.
Overall, I'm happy with the drone. Hopefully that's not me accepting that I wasted well over 4k on this drone. I like the endurance compared to M2. I will say this...if you already own a M2, you should wait to purchase the M3 until they fix more issues. I haven't used active track as I've seen lots of YouTube videos of the M3 crashing into trees. Never had any issue like this with the M2. Also, hopefully they bundle the RC Pro controller with the M3 without having to purchase the more expensive version "Cine" that would put you over the 5k mark.
As of now, my go to drone is the M2 but hopeful that DJI will work faster getting the M3 to where it should be.

Brand response from DJI Support
Posted .
Dear customer,
We are sorry for the issue you encountered with Mavic 3. May we double confirm if the ascend of the drone only existed in N mode? Did it happen again when you flew in a different environment? When using the wide-angle lens, the intelligent flight modes are not supported, we have forwarded the feedback to our engineers, and hopefully, they will be able to be supported in the future.
If there is assistance needed, please feel free to contact DJI support at http://www.dji.com/support, we are happy to help.
Best Regards, DJI Support

I have own many drones during the years and I just upgraded it from Mavic 2 Pro. I can honestly say this the best drone I have ever owned, the range and flying time is amazing. I usually get 28 minutes of flight so is not 46 like DJI advertised but still is a long time.
Pros:
Battery time around 28 mins
Range
Super quiet
Very well build, this thing is solid
Cons:
Removing the mini sd card can be a pain,
The controller why DJI included the same controller as the mini 2 and Air2S??? For the price I paid, having this controller is just unacceptable
The camera doesn't go completely side to side
The DJI fly app is garbage

The maverick 3 is a good drone for the money. DJI makes a reliable and a quality drone for all levels of pilots. Always been looking for a longer flight time and the maverick 3 won’t disappoint with a longer flight time and more stability in higher winds then a lot of other drones can handle and the camera’s range and quality. that makes it a outstanding drone for the money. Can’t wait for the next generation of maverick. Until next time..

My first drone purchase although not my first drone I have owned of flown. I picked up my Part 107 last year and my employer has been training me and allowing me to fly their aircraft. I have had some time with the Mavic Pro so I knew pretty well what to expect with the Mavic 3. If you have had any time with the Mavic line then the Mavic 3 will behave and fly just as expected, The Camera is a huge improvement over the Mavic Pro and Mavic Pro 2. Additional flight time and range is welcome as well. It pretty easy, this drone while expensive is a great platform and I really enjoy flying it.

The Mavic 3 is a great drone. I bought the basic kit and then the RC-Pro and an extra battery as the fly more kit includes a $380 bag that is not of much use.
Firmware update today added many of features promised in Jan 2022 so a nice surprise, range, camera, flight time are all excellent. 7x Telephoto camera is a great addition for scouting the area and doing some limited video and photo captures.

Beautiful camera for photography and video and will be a great tool for me as a commercial photographer. The zoom is a nice different perspective to have although it has to be used when the lighting is good for clean photos and videos at the 7x zoom distance only. The full 28x zoom is very grainy but fun to use.

Mavic 3 review from a Pro Pilot

I am a Sec 107 certified UAS pilot and replaced my 2 Phantom 4 Pro drones with 2 Mavic 3s. The pluses for the drone are many. The smaller form factor for traveling to jobs, the longer battery life, and the larger sensor (4/3) on the camera have made it a viable upgrade. The intelligent flight modes work well but the can be difficult to adjust sometimes when flying. The Mav 3 is surprisingly stable in the gusty winds and when flying sport mode the props are almost never seen, unlike the Phantoms. The zoom factor using the Hasselblad camera only goes to just below 4x but is usable at that point and below. The secondary camera with a magnification of 28x is kind of a gimic but usable in some situations for effect and certainly to magnify some objects for inspection and not a deal braker. The only negatives would be the difficulty in hand catching due to the obstacle avoidance sensors on the bottom and the jerky braking when wanting to slow to a stop when using the right stick to slide rt or left, especially for video.
