Complete package and quality drone. Compact and great footage/pictures.

Use it for strictly recreational purposes and family vacations. Love the auto fly options including rocket and spiral. Just wish there were less restrictions of where you can fly this thing (think: Machu Picchu off limits; Grand Canyon off limits; etc). Other than that, it’s a breeze to fly especially with the obstacle detection feature built in. Since this purchase there have been upgraded models; get the latest and greatest if you can. If not, most likely this will more than meet the needs of the average hobbyist

First time drone flyer. This flies like a dream. So compact so stable. Pros: flight times , distance, camera quality, portability, stable in moderate winds, easy to fly and land, included three batteries in fly more pack Cons: battery charger not charging all batteries when on tray, wish i had zoomable lens,

This is easy to fly. The set up is simple and easy to use. Not much of a manual comes with this but with a little time on the internet I was able to learn all the features. I have flown it in winds of about 12 mph and the drone seemed to not be effected. The camera is awesome. I have had it for about a month and love it. I have land and wanted/needed to fly it to get a good feel for landscaping and drainage. So far the farthest away I have flown is about 1/2 mile but each time I fly I go farther out. Well worth the money.

The Mavic Air 2 takes much better quality photos & videos, is faster & more stable in windy conditions, and has 4 times the range compared to my Mavic Mini... only disadvantages is that the batteries self-discharge by roughly 30% in the first week, and roughly 50% over 2 weeks, whereas the Mavic Mini retains its charge for month(s)... if you are planning on an extended trip outdoors, make sure to take along a portable power pack to recharge the batteries!

A fantastic, top quality prosumer drone, with great battery life, quality imaging and perfectly sized for travel. We got it for my husband who's a photographer to polish his aerial video skills. Here are some points worth mentioning: Getting your drone registered with the FAA and acquainting yourself with the laws in your particular area is a must. NYC has some of the most congested air spaces in the nation with some of the most archaic laws, however, choosing to remain oblivious to the rules of where to fly your drone, how high, who has the right of way in the air, how close to sundown you may launch it, etc, will likely result in either the drone damage or destruction, or a hefty fine ( up to $5K), or both. Buying insurance for your drone is very important, since you're dealing with a very expensive piece of equipment. We bought the combo pack with extra batteries, which is the way to go, because while this drone shows impressive longevity in the air, you'll need extra batteries in the field because they discharge even when not in use. Charging your batteries and performing preflight checks should also become part of the prep. Investing in a hard case with foam compartments will insure transportability and safety of your equipment. Last but not least, buying rotor blade covers could save you from serious injury; we had a mishap where the drone flew into my husband's face as he became momentarily distracted during launch, and left lacerations on his nose and cheek; it could have ended very badly, so rotor blade covers are very important for safety, and not expensive. I find that it should have been offered with the drone, but it's not a knock against Best Buy since they only carry the product. Overall, it's an impressive piece of equipment made available through Best Buy's excellent zero interest financing plan. We highly recommend it!

Perfect camera. Easy to use. Goes so high that you can't see it. Battery will let you fly it for 25ish min. The bundle deal comes with 2 batterys so no big deal. Only thing I don't like about it is when you take pictures it doesn't save it to your phone. But it does save to the memory or a sd card. Maybe it does save to the phone and I haven't figured it out yet. Highly recommend!

Perfect drone with great camera and beginner can handle it easily

Love the Air 2 it is very easy to fly even for a beginer the camera is excelllent both vidioand stills having a lot of fun getting to know the features. the fly more package is a great deal i am glad I got it the extra battry's are nice to have anf the case to carry every thing in is perfect. when shooting vidio the Tripod mode is great gives smooth vidio also a great mode just to slow the drone down for manoovering for stills. I hiley recomend the Air 2.

Amazing technology for the price point. Easy to use and flies very stable. Great range and the return to home feature is a big plus. Bought it for my kid - he breezed through the setup and was flying in short order. When it was my turn - the controls were very easy to master. Fly like a pro in very short order. Great Purchase. The additional batteries and carry case are worth the price of the combo pack!

Awesome video quality easy to control very limited learning curve

Omg !!!! I don’t know where to start ........ first I am a photographer and aspiring videographer. I wanted to add a twist to to my imagery (via drone shots) and also step into wedding videography. My first time flying was sooooooo weird and scary lol, I didn’t want to let this small beast out my line of vision, but after a couple of flights it gets a lot easier. The learning curve wasn’t bad at all ....... and the pictures are AMAZING !!!!! Also the video capabilities are out of this world for beginners and pros with 4k 60fps and 1080p 240fps options . I have shot several short cinematic films since my purchase and still have yet pushed it to its limits . Give yourself time to know your aircraft, THIS IS NOT A TOY. Purchasing the fly more combo was a must !!!!!! Way more bang for your buck. Also a fully charged battery last about 25 min ...... so yeah get the fly more combo ( comes with extra batteries and propellers etc ). Yes there are cheaper drones on the market .... but DJI stands by their products and it’s worth the investment. Yes it stings a bit paying $1200 (upfront) but I know I will get my return on investment eventually. Thanks you Best Buy for making this purchase such a easy process . I pulled up to a pick up spot during the pandemic and the associate came out with my items.

The DJI Mavic Air 2 arrived perfectly. Easy set up and it flies perfectly. I believe a first time user would find it easy to fly. The DJI Fly app was an easy download for my Samsung S8+ phone and Apple iPad5 mini via the app store. The app is easy to follow and allows many different settings for controlling the drone flight, picture taking, and making a video. Do a search on the internet and you'll find many forums and YouTube videos to help you learn how to use the app, fly, and use the camera. The controller is well balanced, easy to hold, and easy to use the flight sticks. Taking the battery down to 20% remaining gives a good 28 minute flight and probably more if you wanted to deplete the battery further to get the advertised 34 minutes. The collision avoidance is great and it will move around an object by itself. The return home function works well in case you lose sight of the drone and it lands within a foot from take-off. The camera takes very nice pictures and videos and there has been recent firmware upgrades to enhance the camera features. I've had mine for three weeks now with about five to six hours flight time. Unfortunately, it's now sent back to DJI for warranty repair. Best Buy also has their own replacement/repair plan for purchase. Many of these drones are flying without a problem. I was just the unlucky one.

If you are a first time drone buyer, this is the one for you. You will probably never need another drone after this one. 30+ min flight time, 4k 60 FPS Video Recording, 6 mile signal range (Line of Sight), compact size, reduced blade noise for stealth flights, just too many features to list. This will definitely allow you to get from beginner level all the way to advanced.

This is my first drone, and I am very happy with my decision to purchase this drone. It is verybuser friendly and very easy to fly. The picture and video quality is on par with the higher end drones. The features this drone packs in such a small airframe is simply amazing. I would recommend from beginners to someone looking to upgrade an older drone. Very well done DJI.

My first "big" investment drone! Definitely purchase the fly more pack, you will want the extra batteries!!! Flight time is great, great distance, and camera/video quality is awesome!!!! Take the time to learn it, go to DJI website and download the manual. Flying is not difficult, camera has tons of options to learn, just take baby steps until you comfortable with it!

I own an aerial photography business and use DJI products. While I have tested other drone companies, DJI rises to the top in quality, durability, and price. The Mavic Air 2 is no exception. I purchased the fly more combo version and it is the only way to go. Although battery life is exceptional, it is nice to have the two extra batteries and case. What really tipped the scale for me also was the included ND filters. They are a must for getting the right photographs and videos. I have to admit I wasn't looking to purchase the Mavic Air 2 at first planning to wait for the next "Pro" level drone from DJI, but I am so glad I purchased it! I am highly impressed with the quality and durable feeling of the craft. I recommend and believe you will be highly satisfied with this drone. Also, HUGE shoutout to Best Buy for getting the MA2 delivered to me faster than DJI..as I ended up cancelling my DJI order after confirmation I would get it from Best Buy sooner. Great experience all the way around!
