Great price for performance and extras
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you don't want to dish out more money for the pro version, this is still an excellent option. Battery life is excellent, camera is stellar, controls are simple. The price for just two extra batteries alone is worth the price of the fly more kit. Plus you get extra props, nd filters, and a multi charger. If you want a drone this is definitely one to get.

Great Drone
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome drone and easy to fly. Has several camera features and takes AMAZING pictures. NOTE: Sport mode is very fast, when in sport mode all of the obstacle avoidances get automatically turned off, with that said, the drone did get stuck in a tree over night had to call a climber to climb 175 feet to rescue it but had NO damage.

Easy to fly, good range, compact so it travels easy and great quality pics and videos. I would definitely Recommend this drone I would also recommend getting the fly more combo. Fantastic Prosumer Drone
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Mavic Air 2 sets the new benchmark for capability in a consumer level drone. Photo and video quality are fantastic (be sure to use supplied ND filters in Brighton sunlight near water). This drone only uses DJI fly app (my Mavic Air is able To use DJI Go4 which I prefer). Having said that the app has excellent pre-programmed flight modes and object tracking that are essential in producing professional and interesting videos. Battery life is great too - much better than the previous generation Mavic Air and a little better than Mavic Pro 2. The controller is reversed from previous generations too (phone above, not below the controller). This works great. Also a change from orcious generations is the calibration - it does not need the hippy shake / rotate anymore. Just power up and fly. If you’re looking for a professional level drone at consumer prices then this is drone in the fly more configuration is perfect. Approx $1000 gets you the basic drone kit along with extra batteries, props and case - a great upgrade front the $800 for just the basic drone and a battery. I would recommend this as a high quality high tech quality product that leverages the most up to date technology.

Fly on.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our first legit drone purchase, frankly this is super easy to fly and control. The app is simple and very intuitive, the fly more package is worth every penny simply for the extra batteries. Flight time on a full charge is surprisingly long, the camera and gimbal are solid and smooth for shooting 4k cinematic content.

Very easy to fly and has incredible range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The DJI Mavic Air 2 Drone is a great product that is durable and flies with ease. You do not need to be a tech nerd to learn the set up and get flying right away. Camera is awesome! Battery life is great with 30 min per battery and comes with 3 and extra propellers. Its a great value for a high quality drone for under $1000

Solid drone
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to fly, enjoyable, great image. DJI already updated most flaws in its recent update of the fly app. Again: 1. Extremely easy to fly for awesome picture quality. 2. Updates as always from DJI. On time and fixing things. 3. Fly combo Is the way to go mainly because of the batteries. It is a must and worth the extra bucks.

Great Drone
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DJI is one of the best making drones. The drone is small enough to take anywhere. The camera and video quality you get from this drone for the money can't be beat. The fly more option is also a very good deal when a battery alone cost $115.00. Do your self a favor and get one of these drones.

Nice but not sure it is worth the money.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started off with the Mini 2, but that has way too many limitations, even though it is still a decent drone for the money. So I returned that and purchased the Mavic Air 2. What did I like about it? Well, the Air 2 felt much more substantial than the mini in terms of presence and build quality. It also lasted longer in the air and the fly more kit meant I could fly it for an hour and fourth two minutes max. The image quality was good, but it seemed like it was over sharpened to my eyes. Also, I really found the greens to be a little to yellow for my taste. Another thing is that lower light images were very noisy. What I didn’t like, was the fact that Ocusync 2 couldn’t get more than 2500 feet from my house without glitching and losing video. Shortly after that the whole drone would lose signal and fly home. There were people who claimed they had modded the controllers to increase the range, but that seemed excessive to me. Oh and another thing, the ND filters that came with this drone are way less usable than the ND filter set that came with the Ir 2s. The Air 2 gave you 16/64/256 stop filters… the Air 2s comes with 4/8/16/32 stop filters. When you realize the limitations of this drone in fairly congested areas, then you have to look at the missing features to see if an upgrade is worth the money. The next model up has a newer ADS-B aircraft alerting system (saved my butt already), OcuSync 3 for longer range, a 1” Sensor for better image quality and lower light shooting, and more collision avoidance sensors. To me this made more sense than dealing with the limitations and the older feature set of the air 2, so I returned this and jumped up to the newer model.

Best drone company out there
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DJI is unparalleled. Ease of use is second to none. I paid extra for DJI accident coverage, and glad I did. I ended up using it to replace my drone when I clipped a tree branch. Totally user error. Lesson learned and the transaction was extremely simple.

Pricey but Very Complete
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 6th drone. I finally decided to get a 'real' drone. After comparing everything in this price range I decided on the MAVIC Air 2, Fly More package. This gives the complete set of everything you need, batteries alone are worth the price increase! Drone is incredibly stable even in the wind, video and still pictures are amazing! I consider this a Flying Camera, not just a toy drone. Yes, it enforces the FAA restrictions but you can register your drone and request permission to fly in restricted zones. My request to fly in my area was approved in about 3 days by the FAA. Then, DJI unlocked my drone for my area in about 30 minutes. Now I can fly in this zone with 30 seconds of approvals and verifications of my responsibility. DJI also provide detailed mapping of the restricted areas and shows them on your screen. I have a completely open area within a mile of my restricted zone. Highly recommended, especially if you are responsible and plan to operate legally in this country.

The best Mid Range Drone on the market
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The DJI Mavic Air 2 is the best consumer drone to date. Flying the DJI Mavic Air 2 is awesome and has everything a drone needs: fast speed, high-res camera, long battery life, tremendous range and obstacle avoidance. And it’s relatively inexpensive as far as top of the line camera drones go.

Wow!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First time drone owner, but long time digital photographer. All I can say is WOW! The drone is incredibly easy to fly - first flight I was comfortable maneuvering close to obstacles, even in gusty breezes, and so far no collisions. I am really impressed with the camera - by default it produces 4K video, and 12MP stills, which are _very_ sharp. (My other camera is a Sony A7R-IV, with 60MP full frame sensor and Zeiss 55mm lens. It is famous for its incredible sharpness, and the drone's stills are amazingly close.) Also, I am really impressed with the software and web support. Their web site support manuals and videos are very helpful, and the app not only works flawlessly, but it walks you through startup and flight really nicely. One example: when I inserted the 128GB micro sd card, the app noticed, and asked if I wanted to record to that card, rather than the built-in 8GB one. No digging through arcane menu stacks to find the option for that (like on my A7R) - it did the right thing automatically. Refreshing.

My first drone
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never flown a drone before. The DJI Mavic Air 2 was fairly easy to set up and get flying. It has all the basic features I wanted and is high quality. I wouldn't even think of getting the drone without the Fly More Combo kit. The extra batteries alone are worth the price.

The best drone ever
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This drone almost flies itself took it on vacation and shot some awesome video. This drone has more functions than the pro. Unless you are a professional then it makes no reason to purchase the pro.

Great value and upgrade from Mavic Air
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Long time user of drones for business. This bundle is actually a great deal and the difference between the original Mavic Air and the Mavic Air 2 is pretty dramatic. Great camera and easier to fly. We lus an additional 10 minutes of flight time with the new batteries.

It's brilliant!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Possibly one of the best purchases of my life (no kidding) I always wanted a drone for the traveling I do, but could never justify the spend on it, they have come a long way in 5 years and there is no doubt the Mavic Air 2 is the cream of the crop. It has excellent preset features, handles the wind really well and the gimbal allows smooth filming even with jerkier moves. filming in 4K is great and you really see the quality when you get home and have a look past the mobile phone screen. This package has the spare blades and 2 extra batteries alongside the easy to carry bag, super helpful when you want to pack it neatly away and take it on the move with you. Worth the spend for sure. DJI offers 2 years of insurance which is a nice alternative to the Best Buy option, just nice to deal with the company itself. I love my drone and recommend it to anyone reading this review!
