I have the Mavic Air and this was a nice upgrade! Flight time is longer, camera is much better and it's bigger!

I just recently bought this drone for my wife because our Phantom was too big to travel with. This drone turned out to be the perfect travel drone. It’s super light and compact and being the newest model, it has better features for picture and video quality. We’ve already done so much with it. Had it track us while we canoe’d down the snake river in Idaho. It’s flown in canyons and over waterfalls. We’re so excited to have this on all of our adventures.

After lots of good and bad YouTube videos on the mavic air 2 I decided to purchase it and knowing the return policy I knew I had 30 days to decide if I liked it and I am glad I did so. Most of the reviews I found on YouTube where good however I did find some bad ones. But the issues listed in the videos must have been an isolated few because I have had no problems. In fact best drone in my opinion. Which isn't saying alot the only other drone I owned was a mavic mini which I ended up exchanging for the mavic air 2. If your looking at either up grading from the mini to the air 2 or you can't decide between getting the minor the air 2. I would recommend biting the bullet to purchase the air 2 even though its double the price it is surprisingly better. Which is to be expected and is not a fair comparison. Alsocif your thinking of getting either the mavic air 2 or the mavic mini I'd recommend getting the fly more combo. Its worth it, especially for the air 2 it's only about $150 more and the two extra batteries you get is about $300 in value so just for the extra batteries alone it's a good deal not to mention the case, charging station, and filters and extra props. Its total like a $450 value for only $150 extra so it's well worth it. P.S. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND PURCHASING BESTBUYS PROTECTION PLAN FOR THIS DRONE. NOT THAT IT NEEDS IT IVE ONLY HIT ONE TREE BRANCH WITH THIS AND IT CORRECTED ITS SELF AND MADE IT OUT UN FAZED. HOWEVER WHEN THIS HAPPENED WITH MY MINI NOT ONLY DID 4 PROPS BREAK. BUT IT JUST STOPPED AND FELL TO THE GROUND. GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION IS $350 FOR 2 YEARS. INSTEAD WHEN SETTING UP YOUR DRONE YOULL BE PROMPTED ON YOUR PHONE TO SIGN UP FOR DJI CARE REFRESH. ITS BASICALLY THE SAME THING AS GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION BUT ITS ONLY $75 A YEAR.

Review in short; simply amazing. Fantastic video picture and transmission. Extremely easy to fly with bunches of picture and video options. Do yourself a favor and buy the “fly more combo” because one battery just is not enough. One and only downside for me personally is the drone is just a smidge bigger than I anticipated. Purchased the mini 2 first and love the size for travel, but lacks the extras the mavic comes with.

I used a Phantom 3 before receiving this as a gift and it is phenomenally better. It definitely has more flight time per battery, the video and pictures that it takes are amazing. The combo pack is a better investment in regards to the extra batteries and propellers that you get. It would cost much more if you bought everything separately. It took a little but for the initial update but the features it added were worth the wait. Definitely an awesome drone!

Amazing service and product. I was having a little trouble with one of the legs. It made the flying a little off and uneasy. Normally I wouldn’t even have brought it in but seeing how much I spent I felt it should be working perfectly so I brought it in and Best Buy made it right and helped me get another drone.

Overall, I'm impressed. I usually fly drones 4x the size and wasn't expecting such stability and ease of use. The transmission range is awesome! I had a Dji Spark for 2 days which crashed on it's own. DJi verified it was a hardware failure. This left me feeling doubtful about Dji products. I was nervous when I first started flying the Mavic Air 2. Now I'm confident in my gear again, it just works as good as everyone says it does. Thanks DJi.

I am a first-time drone owner, long time amateur photographer. I had been thinking of a drone purchase to start doing aerial landscapes, but was unimpressed with the camera specs on the previous consumer models. Patience paid off when I saw the upcoming release of the Mavic Air 2 with 48 mp stills and 4k/8k video in a unit suitable for beginners. I have only flown the MA2 about 10 fairly short times since purchase due to spotty weather that has been plaguing our area. My initial goal was to better understand the controls and app in an open space where I would not hit any trees. The remote control is well thought out and quickly pairs with your phone to supply the real time video/photos images. The drone unit is lightweight and compact and is very portable. The drone has a number of standard automatic controls that make beginners a bit more comfortable including one touch lift off, return to home, and auto tracking features. I have shot video clips on each flight, and the resolution is amazing, along with the stability. Many of the clips were shot in some noticeable breeze, but the video footage was rock solid. "Cinemetic" drone footage takes some skill to produce, and you have to develop a light touch on the controls to glide and sweep the camera without it looking like a mechanized drone. I am working on that. And I am still plagued by that uneasy feeling of seeing a $900 purchase flying 150 feet overhead and thinking "that's going to come crashing down any second." This unit is getting great reviews from all corners on value and performance and it really is a well designed, well executed piece of technology that has broken old barriers in terms of image resolution and flight time. No hesitation recommending this.

This drone is amazing. Easy to fly. Takes excellent pictures. Handles a breeze very well for its size.

This has been my very first drone and I love it! It's so easy to use and fun to fly. The build quality is second to none and the Fly App is very user friendly and intuitive. There are also other Apps that can be used to provide other features and drone abilities. Battery life is optimal and the security features the drone has are very good.

The camera on this thing is insane. Ready to go right out of the box besides popping on the propellers, charging the battery and updating the drone. Definitely buy the fly more combo since 3 batteries are very very nice to have. I have read tons of reviews on other drones and decided to go with the Mavic Air 2. I am super impressed with the overall quality of this drone. 34 minutes flight time is very hard to beat at this price point. Big thumbs up!

This is my first drone and its amazing. I have never flown a drone before and this thing makes it so easy. True 4K video and the pictures are beautiful. It took about 30 minutes to set up the drone and update the software. I watched a few videos online and I was able to fly this safely in a park the next day. The return to home feature is a huge help and made me feel a lot better about flying this drone.

I got this drone for Christmas after a lot of research about quality, reliability and brand name. Battery life was important to me. Purchasing the combo makes sense - 3 batteries with other extras saves money in the long run. Now I need to get a license and learn where to fly. Fortunately I have a friend who flies a drone for a news network and its nice to know someone you can bounce questions off of. He said DJI is an established drone manufacturer that also provides equipment to the government and major companies that use drones in their profession - excellent reputation. He also recommended using the Crystal Sky app and the Kitty Hawk App, I give credit to Best Buy as they provided further information voluntarily to learn more about the drone and flying. I have a little flying experience, but feel I need to know more and get qualified before I take flight with it. It is important to know where it can be flown also. No-fly zones are prevalent where I live (near military and civilian airports) so I'll be asking for permission to fly near my home at a low altitude (need to learn about that also). I hope to eventually be able to offer drone video services for weddings or other events as a side job, but that's a goal and it won't happen right away.

This is my first "better" drone, and I have to say, the quality is first class. Easy to set up and a blast to fly. I am still pretty green but I am learning and improving every time. Despite the complexity of the advanced level flying I am enjoying every minute. I don't know enough to judge against other drones but I am very happy with my purchase.

In the past I have purchased mid-range priced drones and I regret it as I should have just spent the money and purchased from DJ I all along. The quality of the camera the ease-of-use and just the overall quality of the product is mind-blowing. I purchased the fly more package which comes with a total of three batteries and a few camera filters as well I have zero complaints.

Great first drone. Easy to fly and takes great photos/videos. I get 26 minutes flight time or more.

Great drone, opted to get this over the mini 2 due to the added safety sensors and better camera. Flying it is super easy. I would recommend getting DJI care, when flying in sport mode all sensors are turned off, I did fly it into some tree branches at 18mph, thankfully no damage. Just be aware it takes a bit to stop when moving at full speed. Overall a great experience and I'd recommend this to anyone.
