Image and video quality is excellent and very sharp even in low light situation thanks to its half inch image sensor. 48 Mega pixel photo is stunning and very little noise when zoom in. It is so easy to get stunning photo every time with smart photo, did I mention photo is stunning in low light ? 4K HDR video is bright but can only do 30fps. Normal 4K video at 60fps is butter smooth. 34 minutes flight time is excellent for beginner and expert alike. I am a beginner so the long battery life allows me to check all settings and features and fly too without need to switch battery. I did not test the 10km range because we can only fly line of sight but having the range eliminate the lost control anxiety. I also tested obstacle avoidance and it will avoid me by flying to the side or higher. In low light condition, it will hover in place and give warning and flashing red on screen. Focustrack is so easy to use, you just use finger to swipe on the screen to select your target and it shows you a tutorial. Unfortunately, can't do 60fps and it does tells you on screen which is very helpful. The IMU and compass is also pre-calibrated, I just unbox, charge and start flying and the drone remain very stable. Even if you want to re-calibrate, it is also very easy, it guides you step by step with video on screen and wait for you to complete the step. This drone is suitable for beginner due to self guided tutorial and indoor video/photo due to big sensor, this opens up more creative opportunities. It seems it does not have gesture control, I hope it will be added in the future. I also hope the prompt and warning stay longer or allow user to go back to review them because sometime it beeps but I don't know why. I am very happy with this drone and the fly more package is very nice and worth it.

Been flying a DJI Phantom 3 Pro before this, and wow, crazy to see how far drones have come. The streaming is great, and it's so fun to fly that you'll kill a battery before you know it and be wanting to put another one in it ASAP! I wouldn't recommend getting one of you don't have things to take pictures of, but it's great for family photos or on a vacation. My wife and I like to bring it so we don't have to ask strangers to take pictures for us :p

My husband hates to learn new things. LOL But I have to say that once I got this set up for him he LOVES IT! It flys great and the camera takes amazing videos. For the price you get so many accessories you just need to look in the zipper pouch of the camera bag to find them. Not excited over the booklets you get but get on YouTube and you can find some great videos that tell you all about this drone

The Mavic Air 2 has performed flawlessly for me. Easy to set up and very low maintenance. It's a joy to fly!
